I don't know if you read this, but I love your mashups especially this one and many more like Gekkan Shounen Afro-kun And What you say X Hidimari Sketch seriously you and couple other artists sparked my love for mashups to the point of wanting to make one because it's sounds fun. It's true that i have no musical knowledge like at all, but i don't think it's necessary to make decent sounding mashups i think ? from my understanding for making mashups you need to know the bpm and key of songs this may be easy to find popular songs, but i want to go wild with niche songs and I just don't know what to do. Other thing is i can't get the vocals synced up with the original instrument for the same song for a reason beyond my understanding other thing is extracting acapella from a song i have tried the Audacity method, but everytime i do it I end up with mushy and inconsistent level of sound volumes am i supposed to add effects to the vocals to make it sound like it's not recorded in the bathroom ? Or i just need to find good acapellas of the songs i want and pray that someone did make an acapella for that certain niche song? Sorry for the long comment, but this seems like a really fun hobby to get into and I will appreciate it if anyone give me some tips or point me to the right direction
I read every comment and thanks for listening. When it comes to musical knowledge, getting the fundamentals right is within reach for anyone willing to learn. There are many tools out there that can help you find the BPM of a song, including some online BPM tappers like all8 or Virtual DJ. When it comes to key, software and online resources can only do so much and can be inaccurate quite often. For the fundamentals, I think it's best to go with what sounds right and as you progress, your ears will improve and you can even introduce yourself to some music theory. The rabbit hole for mashups goes as deep as you want it to go. For all the Japanese vocals on my channel, I use phase cancellation using Utagoe 3.0, which requires a full song + an instrumental. A video tutorial on how to use it is here (includes a download too): ua-cam.com/video/y-8QoxiY62A/v-deo.html When it comes to syncing music, you need to have the songs at the same tempo or speed in BPM. I also recommend starting vocals on the correct count so that the lyrics fall on the right beat. Maybe I'm misremembering it but I could have sworn you had a version up without the female vocals. Not that this one isn't good, but it was the first version I heard. If there's any way, could you please re-upload that one 🙏 thank you
You're absolutely correct. The first version I had didn't have female vocals because I recall a friend telling me that the vocal contrast was too much. I've grown to like those kinds of contrasts now but everyone has different tastes. Here's the original, I'm surprised you remember it all these years: ua-cam.com/video/inkeZnFlXuE/v-deo.html
@@zero-jm7ok Okay try now, it should work
PLEASE DO MORE RWBY I MISS THE SAO AND RWBY MASHUP U DID 2 YEARS AGO I STILL LISTEN TO THAT TODAY
*ALL IM SAYING IS PLEASEEEE DO ANOTHER MASHUP WITH RWBY*
Thanks for your continual support but I don't think I will be making a RWBY mashup any time soon. My interest in music has shifted away from that soundtrack as a whole. However, here is another RWBY mashup you can listen to:

what’s the version with a different rap song?
Are you looking for the original version of the rap song/japanese song? If so, the songs are in the description. If you're looking for other version, I think this is the only mashup that uses the Roundtable song.
@@HandBraJeans Sorry for being confusing/off topic, I just remember in the past there was an NHK op mashup but it used the song of an american rapper
@@leecole7266 No worries. I tried looking and this is the only mashup I could find with the opening with rap vocals. Is this it? ua-cam.com/video/8uo-SjXXtm8/v-deo.html
