- It’s Vegas time again! We’re on an Oyster Bar tour!
First stop is the Oyster Bar located in the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino. We’ve been to this place before and we really liked it, earning honors to be highlighted again in our tour. We ordered the Chicken & Sausage Gumbo and the Shrimp Pan Roast. Delicious!
Our second stop was the Oyster Bar in the Palace Station Hotel & Casino. This place came highly recommended by several of our viewers. We ordered a cup of New England Clam Chowder, New Zealand Green Mussels, and the Bouill-Roast. All we can say is WOW X3!!! We absolutely loved everything we ordered. We’ll definitely be back!
Our third and final Oyster Bar tour took us to Big Al’s Oyster Bar in the Orleans Hotel & Casino.

Thanks for watching and we'll catch you on the next one!
Love that you guys are here in Vegas so often. You find all the gems. Yum!
You're the best!!🤗
Thanks Joanne! We wanted to include the Oyster Bar in Harrah's, maybe next time.
As locals we really like the oyster bars at The Orleans, South Point and Sunset Station. I love the pan roasts at all of them, they're all different.
We're sure there are lots of great oyster/seafood bars in and around Vegas, this clog was just a tiny snapshot of whats out there. And, pretty sure certain items on everyone's menu can be a hit or miss. We were planning our 4th stop to be at Harrah's, but we hit the seafood wall at that point. lol Thanks for watching, junbug!
These Vegas videos never gets old for me. Thanks guys!
You're very welcome, Val!
You kids appear so genuine it appears. Once I started watching your videos, I subscribed. I am using my husband's table, just want you to know. Stay safe. Love to you both.
Tablet.
Man, that thick clam chowder looked awesome! I want a seafood boil now!Yum!!
LOL Winnie!
WOW, the oyster bar looks great. Haven't been but will have to stop in now. Thanks for the great video. LIKED!
Thanks DV!
The food at Palace Station Oyster Bar looked outstanding, super fresh seafood, and yes, the Bouill-roast has brandy.
It's yum! We'll go back for sure!
Oyster Bar at Palace Station is the bomb! Cherry clams are my favorite.
Wow ! All 3 places looked amazing! I’ve stayed at Hard Rock and loved it , I’m kicking myself for not trying that out the oyster bar. Great video! You just picked up a new sub lol.
Thanks BYR! Yes, check out that Oyster Bar next time!
Hello Bill and Lisa!!!’ So exited for your new video.
Thanks Soyeath!
This is great. I've only been to the Oyster Bar at Harrah's, which I think went down hill. Knew about Big Al's but have never been. The one at Hard Rock looked great - too bad I won't get to try it.
The one in Palace Station is very good.
Yay!! I love the Vegas Vids👍
Watching now💕
Love your vegas videos.
Thank you guys for this video. It had me salivating but I could tell the last one was kind of blah.
Much aloha from Honolulu and thanks for all the informative tips on where to eat on the ninth island and all the wonderful places you travel to.
Muah and God bless your family from my family.
Mahalo Jessica! Yes, the last one was was not our favorite, but glad we tried it.
That seafood dish at the Palace was a Cioppino, classic Italian fish stew. Next time you are in SF, stop in Scoma's on the wharf and try theirs, it is amazing.
Haha funny you had New Zealand mussels ,because that is where I live ,so probably would give those a miss when we are in Vegas in September ,but everything else look lovely ,great vlog as usual
LOL! The NZ mussels were yummy!
Great to see you back in your second home, Las Vegas! I'm not much of a seafood fan but it was still a fun video.
Can't keep us way! lol
Sorry I'm a couple of days late watching these new videos! Been a busy few days! My cousins and I had that Oyster Bar in Palace Station on our foodietinerary because someone had recommended it. I'm kicking myself now for not making it there! Definitely going next time! That looks so fantastic!
Definitely worth the stop, Aaron!
I chuckled as I totally understood your remark about the crab that's laid out at the buffets that have no flavor. I've been to a few "Vegas style" buffets around SoCal that have crab like that. Good review guys!
Thanks KK! Just trying to describe stuff as best we can. lol
You guys always give great ideas on where to eat in Vegas & who tell it like it is. Keep it up. 👍
Thanks Rocco! Keeping things real like always. lol
I am so glad you got the pan roast to start with because that is my all-time favorite thing from an oyster bar. The best one I have ever had was at Sky Terrace Oyster Bar, Atlantis Casino in Reno oh, probably the best thing I've ever eaten, anywhere, ever
Wow! Must have been next level delicious! Never been to Reno yet, but if we do, we'll look for it.
Love your vegas trips
I’m going to visit the Palace Station. It looked super yummy. Thanks!
Worth the visit, Maile! You're very welcome!
Great video, guys! Happy eats, happy travel :)
Thanks Minnie!
YES PALACE STATION OYSTER BAR ROCKS, BEEN GOING THERE FOR YEARS AND YEARS. NEVER TOLD ANYONE ( TO KEEP LINE FROM GROWING LOL ) TRY THE SHRIMP COCKTAIL PRAWNS AND HORSE RADDISH YUM YUM
Nice job guys for seafood vlog and the price was great to know,EAT Good For LESS. 😂😂
great reviews, thank you!
I really enjoyed this video although I would put the hard Rock oyster bar over palace station and you're right you're very lucky that you got in there so quickly people have waited 2 and 3 hours before to get in there it's kind of ridiculous... But the hard Rock clam chowder I would say is one of the best ive ever had !! as much as you guys come here you should buy a little condo LOL the prices are really going up right now probably would have been a good idea few years ago 🙃
Agreed, some great clam chowder in Vegas, gives San Fran or Seattle a run for their money!
Yaal gotta try Greene St Kitchen at the Palms and Makinos on Decatur and New Asian BBQ Tan Tung Ky(Chinatown) 👌🏽 welcome back!
Wow.. you did it! Awesome! As I said.. my all time favorite Oyster Bar (even including Oyster Bars in Reno NV) is the Crab Pan Roast at the Palace Station’s. I would like to try the Hard Rock as you suggested. Sorry about Big Al’s.. but I’ve always enjoyed their Seafood Chowder there. Btw, if you want to try the BEST clam chowder on the planet is The Fish Company in Los Alamitos, CA.. I would put this up against anywhere you’ve tried... I highly recommend! Great job once again!
Bookmarked! Had some good chowder in Boston and Seattle, and now maybe Los Alamitos! We're down to ry it! Thanks for the recommendation, Dan.
Bill & Lisa's food and travel vlog You’re most welcome! The Fish Company has a great selection of fresh fish so you can’t go wrong as well as the crab sampler and shrimp cocktail!
Niiiice!!!
Glad you finally tried my favorite oyster bar in LV, the Palace Station Oyster Bar. Please try the combo pan roast next time. It is my favorite.
Sounds good! We'll go back there for sure!
what I miss the most is living in NJ and getting a bucket of steamers... OMG sometimes they cook them with a little white wine but I tell you its worth it.. so good.
Awesome 👏 Thanks for sharing 📸👍👍👍👍📸🙏🥇
Anytime, Drew!
I love oysters 🦪 any way boyfriend not so much nor a lot of other seafood like this lol definitely want try these places when we go some day maybe I can change his mind lol
Great video. Quick question... I'm heading to Vegas in a few weeks, and looking for an all you can eat buffet that includes fried oysters or better yet Oysters Rockafeller. I know the Carnival World Buffet at the Rio used to have a seafood add-on that included both, but they've since done away with that. Any other buffets that have oysters prepared any other way than raw on the half shell?
Only buffet we've seen Oysters Rockafeller was at the Aria Buffet. This buffet is one of our favorites! Have a great time in Vegas, Dave!
Butter, garlic, wine.... now I'm starving... just need bread and Butter!! Omg you guys, lol lol
It's the Holy Trinity of seafood! lol
Never been to an Oyster Bar but looks good. Next time you go to the strip can you try the oyster bar at Harrah's? Curious about that one. Probably won't be going to Las Vegas until Dec or next Feb so I have to live vicariously thru you! 😁 Thanks for another great vlog and safe travels. Oh, just read Evel's Pizza has a new pizza for a while with a new locally grown topping, grasshoppers! 🦗 They say they want to see who is brave enough to try it. I know I'm not, are you?
Harrah's oyster bar was 4th on our list to try in this vlog. Sadly, we didn't make it this time. Grasshopper pizza? Heck no. Hahaha!!
Have you considered going to Legends Oyster Bar and Grill in Vegas? Seems right up your alley given your preferences :)
Looks so delicious!
The crab looked fantastic
Thank you for the tastings. I thought I was hearing Bill say something about "sour cream" in clam chowder. I am not sure if sour cream is in clam chowder. jmo
Some recipes do call for sour cream, believe it or not. Whether the one we had actually had sc or not, it tasted like it. It's all personal taste though with that kind of flavor. Thanks for watching!
@@billandlisa Thank you for your comment. Just watched day 2. Unable to leave a comment. Just wondering, on both video I did not see the grasshoper invasion. Did you experience the grasshopers? jmo
Not a fan of any seafood at all, but a big fan of your videos 😁😁😁 ESPECIALLY VEGAS.....WOOHOOO!! 😁🤗🎰🎰🎰🎰🎰🎰🎡🎡
Thanks Coco! No seafood in the other Vegas vlog. lol Thanks for watching! =)
We also love fried seafood. My husband loves fried oysters. Any suggestions in Vegas?
Maybe some of the Oyster Bars in Palace Station or Harrah's might offer fried oysters. For sure New Orleans has them. lol
Yummy your. Definitely the Palace Station all the way.
Thanks Tanya! Great seafood in the desert! Who knew! lol
I was waiting for the oysters! LOL
Only in NOLA... Lisa's rule. haha
Thanks for another great video guys. I m curious if the Oyster bar at Harrah's is the same company like the one at Palace Station.
Not sure, PO. The oyster bar at Harrah's was our 4th planned stop, but we never made it. lol
again, enjoy.
Omg when did you go? Been going to OB in PS for years and there's always an hour min wait! I don't see anyone else eating with you guys
Don’t suppose you know of any good restaurants near Albany,ny? We’re going on Friday and have never been there. Great video. We love all things seafood!
Sorry, Bethany, nothing in that area. We've only been around the NYC area. Thanks for watching!
IF you guys haven't yet, you need to try Sugarcane's Raw Bar in the Venetian. It's ON POINT.... Everything is great but definitely get the Brussel sprouts they serve also. You won't be sorry.
Thanks for the recommendation!
Mmm. Everything looked delicious. Love your foodie adventures in vegas. Should review The Legends Oyster Bar and Grill. About 15 mins off the stripe. 3220 S Durango Dr. Ste. B1 Las Vegas, NV 89117. Love to see your review on their clam chowder in bread bowl. 🤩.
I was waiting to see some raw oysters being slurped by you guys. Love raw oysters but it has to be from the right place and the right season.
Only 1 place Lisa likes raw oysters... NOLA.
Oyster bar at the Harris in Las Vegas is really good
Palace Station looks amazing! Hope you go back soon! I'm curious to know how their Gumbo is??
Us too! Might have to give the gumbo a try next time we visit the Palace Station.
Shame on the Hard Rock for calling what was in that bowl "gumbo". That looked nothing like gumbo. I'm from New Orleans and I was slightly offended. Lol. Another great video! Thanks!
We mentioned that too, Chris. lol But, looks aside, it was pretty tasty! Thanks for watching!
Sour cream? I have never ever seen a recipe for new clam chowder with sour cream....Do you mean half and half or regular cream?
There are a few recipes out there that include sour cream. Whether the ones we had at the Oyster Bar actually had sour cream or half-and-half, heavy cream, or whatever, it sure sure had the 'sour cream' taste to the soup. Nothing wrong with that, it's all personal preference in taste.
you should have tried the oyster bar at Southpoint it is so good
There are so many oyster/seafood bars in Vegas, it's mind-blowing. lol We were planning on hitting up the one in Harrah's, but we had our fill of seafood by that point. haha
Sitting at Ted’s bakery right now! Aloha!
No fair!! We totally miss Ted's! That garlic shrimp, Kalbi, and shoyu chicken!!! OMG! Jealous.
I wish I could travel as much as you guys. I love clam chowder. Does anyone know where I could find the best clam chowder in Chicago?
Haven't been to Chicago on a foodie adventure yet, but we want to!
Highly recommend Palace Station Oyster Bar as well....the food there was awesome BUT the wait (45 mins) and location can be a bit problematic....like you guys said.
Have you ever eaten at Harrah’s oyster bar? My husband and I usually stay on the strip so we go there quite often. We really like the prawns as well as the risotto.
That was out 4th planned Oyster Bar stop! lol Sadly, we didn't make it there this trip... next time!
Have you been to Carlos an Charlie's in Las Vegas? If so, which episode is it?? Its one of my favorites !
Not sure we're following you, Charles. Episode?
i enjoyed texas station oyster bar they have my favorite lobster
We drove by Texas Station! That's the great thing about Vegas, there are so many seafood options everywhere.
Palace Station is the best Oyster bar in town. hands down... but long wait...
We got lucky, sat down right away!
Sorry I missed you. I'm in Vegas now from Orange county. Sharon
Awww, sorry too. Have a great time in Vegas! Stay cool!
I'm HUNGRY now! lol
Love seafood 🦞
Palace Station Oyster Bar!
You need to try robertos taco shop, chicken taco Wednesday $1.59. We go there all the time all food on menu is good as well
Nice! We're usually out first flight on Wednesdays, so we'll miss the chicken tacos. We almost went to the Noodle Man, we'll make it there eventually! lol
Did ya see all the bugs that’s going on in Vegas??
The grasshoppers all have moved on.
whats with the spoon and fork?? Dig into the clams and muscles with your hands . :)
Trying to keep things classy. haha We eventually went with hands.
💖💖💖💖💖
Thanks Vonda!!
Instead of the regular chowder, get the Alaskan chowder “dirty” (half red half white)
Heard of it, next time!
triple seven Main Street station best oyster bar
Pretty sure the Oyster Bars at Palace Station and Hard Rock are owned by the same company.
ohh no that's the perfect clam chowda that is should be... I hate the gross over thickened nasty chowda that you can stand a spoon up in.
i wish you guys order more raw oysters and judge the freshness and quality of them instead of just getting cooked seafood b/c you titled your video "oyster bar" not "best seafood places"
I was freaking out that people didn’t have masks! Then realized this was over a year ago LOL
good example of the overweight problem in America
These guys are going oyster bar hopping and not eating a single or Oyster.🤨😬😖😆
Lisa's oyster loyalty belongs to NOLA. lol
3 oyster bars....not a single oyster consumed. Lol. Nice video nonetheless!
I really don't do raw oysters, and Lisa favorite's are from NOLA, so for her, all other oysters are just okay. lol
So you go to 3 oyster bars and don't eat any raw oysters??????? WTF. or even price them. Why bother making a video.
I don't care for raw oysters and Lisa has her favorites in NOLA. That said, we simply ordered things that looked good to us off the menu. Thanks for watching, Bill.
thanks for the review. silly me, i thought all they served was raw oysters. the soup looks great
They do all off raw oysters, but Lisa didn't feel like getting any.
