Chronic Illness Weekly: Lockdown Birthday & My First Pet + Fatigue Flare & New Walker

- This week on Chronic Illness Weekly is actually two weeks! The first week is my 25th Birthday and all about celebrating my lockdown birthday. Ian and my friends and family made it so very special and I show you the birthday haul of lovely things I got. I had a wonderful birthday zoom quiz with my chronic illness support group with the lovely @Georgina's Journey & @Izzy Kornblau I was also very lucky to get the delivery of my new rollz motion walker.
Unfortunately, a major flare and Ian getting ill and having to look after him meant I started to really struggle hence why I missed some days and the normal order of things went to pot. By Tuesday I was starting to get really down. On Thursday however everything changed as I went to pickup my very beautiful first pet - can you guess what she is? I can't wait for you to meet her!
Chronic Illness Weekly is, you guessed it, a weekly vlog showing you my life with Chronic Illness. I share my experiences with Ehlers Danlos Syndrome ( EDS ), Postural Orthostatic Tachycardia Syndrome ( POTS ) and Chronic Migraine. I fight chronic pain and fatigue and many other symptoms on a daily basis but I try not to let it stop me.

Happy belated birthday, I love your stick and your chair. I seem to be flailing with my Crohn’s, pots and arthritis at the moment. I hate lying in bed wanting to sleep but can’t stop crying 😢. Hope you feel better soon and sending gentle healing hugs 🤗 xx

Sending you so much love and spoons - it’s so frustrating and upsetting when you feel like you’re not getting any better, and it just goes on - I completely understand where you’re coming from. I’ve been feeling super demoralised recently with being in pain all the time and not being able to manage things during lockdown properly. Being stuck in in the dark and cold, and not being able to move/exercise really doesn’t help. Just know that you’re not alone ❤️ I know that doesn’t make it much better, but we’re rooting for you! It’s really cool that you’re sharing your experiences so people can see how hard dealing with chronic illnesses are on top of everything else. You’re doing amazingly, though. Hope you do feel a little better soon and are able to get some good rest 🙂🦓

@@ChronicallyJenni yes I remember u saying u we’re going to visit- if u do get here next year you must let me know ahead of time, I’ll come up for a few nights (I’m an hour and a half by bus) and we three zebras can have coffee together!! Phone "buds" are specially designed so that they fall out of one's ears, with or without EDS, small ears/pixie ears/rabbit ears, no difference,... I'm booked for plastic surgery on my ears in order to obtain a snug fit for them
My old round ones used to stay in but just be painful these ones are much better but do fall out just little ears :P
