White Sands in New Mexico! Y’all will love it! Whataburger for lunch! Scenic Drive
or Trans Mountain for sunset viewing! Hiking in Tom Mays National Park on Trans Mountain as well.
I'm born and raised in Houston but lived close to El Paso. Try HEB and Whataburger fo sho! Also if you're there for an extended period of time make a trip to White Sands National Park (get the kiddos a sled for the sand), Cloudcroft NM, and Ruidoso NM. I lived at Holloman AFB and it is gorgeous out there if you love the outdoors.

I lived in Alamogordo, New Mexico (military) for a year which is an hour from El Paso. I would check out the El Paso zoo and I would check out white sands which is on the New Mexico side. Also I think you would enjoy cloudcroft which is also on the New Mexico side but is beautiful and has a very yummy bbq place (mad jacks) & a very cute apple store with fresh pies and ice cream and a lot of souvenirs.
This is one of the reasons I love watching you guys. It gives me inspiration to go outside my comfort zone and try something new and fun! ❤️❤️

You're going to love el paso! Definitely go to the San Jacinto plaza so the kids can see all the christmas decorations. And definitely go to L & Js Cafe best mexican food ever!
I lived in El Paso for a few years in the late 90s and agree with all the suggestions for Scenic Drive views! I now live in New Mexico near Ruidoso and agree with all the suggestions to go to White Sands. The trick to dealing with weather in this area is to wear/take layers. You never know what season it's going to be. El Paso in the lower mountains at about 3,800 feet. Also, it's not really as far away as you think lol
Okay I know there is no such thing as perfection but you guys are the closest thing to it! I love you guys and I love how crisp and clean the vlogs are! Continue being awesome guys!

My husband used to be stationed there in El Paso and I lived an hour away near white sands! Logan’s roadhouse is a really good place to eat. The zoo is so much fun too!

You’ll do great on the travels alone, Ashley. It can feel overwhelming, but you get into a supermom zone/groove, and you just make it work. Make George feel like you really need him to be your special helper (since Dad won’t be there), and I bet he’ll rise to the occasion.
Way to go Ashley! Flying alone with kids isn’t as bad as you might think. The worst part is security. Make sure all snacks are in a big ziplock together because you’ll have to pull them out. And pacifiers or a sippy cup are really good for take off and landing for the kids ears. I also go to the dollar store before and find a few small toys to bring out on the plane so they have something new to play with.
Ashley! There’s tons of good places to eat here in El Paso! Also, while you’re here, you neeeeeed to see the sunset from the scenic drive. It is the best thing about El Paso!

I totally relate to you Ashley. I am a great mom in home but going out with my two kids alone scares me and they are 6&3. Major props, cause I don’t think I could fly/travel alone with both my kids. One yes but both I’d have a breakdown. You’ll do fantastic

The kids are so sweet I love watching and wish I had of had the time with my kids .both parents had to work back in 1973 when my first was born .and then had 5 kids within 10 years my last 2 were 15 months apart

My husband and I lived in El Paso when he was stationed at Fort Bliss 2014-2017. L&J cafe has the BEST food! It looks a little sketchy but it’s great. Lol Also check out Scenic Drive at night, and Franklin mountains for a nice hike. 👍🏼 Enjoy!

OMG please do a video of going to H-E-B if you go and the different experience of Cosco and H-E-B. I personally like H-E-B more than Sams club but I always love your comparison videos and your grocery haul videos too!

I just went on a month long trip with my mother in law and my son to see family in Texas. I had some of the BEST Mexican food while I was there! I was really worried about going at first but we had such a good time
It's actually pretty cold there right now.
Go see the white sands national monument in new mexico. Go golfing and eat some good bbq
We live in El Paso right now (military lol) there’s so many state parks here and mountain trails and then we have this great brunch place called the grove on the west side of El Paso
It's beautiful and warm in the Cayman Islands where I live! 😍 No winter here in the west Caribbean 👍👍...one hour flight from Miami ✈️👍👍🌴

We came from the often cold and rainy UK 🇬🇧 to live and work here in 2015, and even though a lot of the humdrum of daily life is basically the same, we have the sun ☀ and beach 🏖 for evenings and weekends, to swim and snorkel and walk our puppy. We are blessed indeed. Utah DOES look awesome though 👌😁

Drive up to Las Cruces. It’s a 45 minute drive and hike the Organ mountains... I live in Las cruces New Mexico
El Paso is wild a lot different than Utah. I been to Utah a few times. Utah is my state I hope to move there someday next to salt lake. I grew up living 45 minutes away from El Paso. Eat at El Taco Cabana. When will you be out there maybe we can meet? I live in Albuquerque now but my parents and siblings still live in Las Cruces.
I so feel you on this, i have 3 kids and sometimes we skip doing fun things because it would also be hard lol !
I have 3 boys and have found out that I have to keep a backpack that has extra clothes for each kid inside comfy clothes and not ones they will miss. Also I always had fears of traveling alone but it honestly isn't bad. I live in Washington but drive 2 days with my boys to visit family in san Diego every year. I got for 3-4 weeks without my husband

@@TheDashleys it's a life saver my oldest gets car sick so often. I was spending so much at random stops to buy him new clothes that I had to start leaving them in the car.
My parents met at the restaurant that used to be at the top of the falls! Also long boarding Provo canyon is the best!
I love El Paso. Lived there for 5 years, make sure you try JJ’s pizza. Or house of pizza.

Try and have snacks ready, buy drinks at the airport, and only bring one backpack type carry on. The less you have to keep track of the better!
oh and Wear comfortable slip on shoes for you. Also, download some audio books or podcasts for you just in case there is a miracle and they both sleep.
Have so much fun! And soak up the heat!
LOL y'all are so cute and funny, ElPaso isn't that far as you think. Yes it's on the Mexico boarder but you'll be safe and go eat all the Mexican resaturants as you can possibly eat. Eat all the BBQ you can eat as well. I don't live in ElPaso but I live in Houston haha.

As for mexican food....not Taco Cabana.....if you want REAL mexican food, theres really good places on the Westside--Avilas on Mesa, Leos on Remcon (owned by same family as Avilas), Lupitas on Doniphan in Canutillo, El Toro Bronco on Mesa and Executive (soooo good! It’s a different kind of Mexican food from farther down in Mexico, not typical beans, rice, & burritos), the Riviera on Doniphan. So a few places to explore for flavor!!
