- Our wise cracking narrator takes us on a light-hearted look at local road laws in 1939 which actually make little common sense. You'll enjoy the policeman on a motorcycle pulling over cars and even bicycles. Laugh along with little fun stories. A New Hampshire law that when two cars arrive at an intersection, neither can go until the other has passed. There is a New Mexico law that forbidding cars with inharmonious horns. How about the California law that forbids bicycles from passing firetrucks. And, there is a Milwaukee law that states that no vehicle can park in one place for more than two hours, unless it is attached to a horse. Laugh along as you enjoy the classic and antique autos, firetrucks, and Harley Davidson motorcycle in this unusual automotive film. Transferred from 16mm b-w film.
🥰Thank you , good film , I enjoyed watching .👍
Thanks for watching
When I was in New Zealand, fifty years ago, you had to give way to the car on your right at junctions. If four cars got to a crossroads at the same time, it was an impasse. If there was a collision the first to move was at fault, so nobody wanted to be first
NZ still had a few weird road-rules when I worked in Auckland for a while in 1982!
Now I want a car-horn that plays Jazz-tunes!
Me too! I think I'd also like that convertible thrown in the deal. Wonder what it would be worth today.
What a horn!
Haven´t they heard of the "right hand rule"?
This looks much older than 1939......
"Boys"?
