- On the 10th anniversary of Oohalu Gusagusalade, writer-director Srinivas Avasarala recalls the fond memories of making the Telugu romantic comedy
Oohalu Gusagusalade is probably the best rom com to ever exist. You can't change my mind
I watched this movie so many times that I've lost count ! Brilliant movie - Brilliant maker. My comfort Telugu movie akin to You've Got Mail and When Harry met Sally. Thanks for making this movie and being the reason for my joy on so many days Srinivas garu.

As mohankrishna indraganti said quite rightly, srinivas avasarala is a master of word like the great mullapudi venkataramana, which comes from the mastery of the nuances of Telugu language. His whole movie oohalu gusagusalade shows his brilliance in writing superb dialogue writing.
I expected so much after this film. He never even came close
Same here. He matched to an extent in Jyo Acyutananda. Didn't liked PAPA that much but it has a good rewatch value.
This movie deserved more & more recognition …. Best classic 🙌👏👏👏
Such a beautiful mind & eloquent person 👌
Thank You for this conversation ❤ this movie is etched as one of the classics in my collection ❤
Avasarala thanked not just the interviewer but also the crew behind! So sweet of him!❤
The songs are still fresh and hold up especially Emiti Hadavidi, Its always my go to song whenever I feel good.
My favorite dialogue is 'naku beach baga telusu. Infact my friends call me son of the beach'
This is an intellectual interview. Ram, great job. You seem to possess a very good knowledge of Indian and world cinema
Thanks For the content
It's not about the interview
It's more about the filmmaking knowledge...
One of my fav interviewers with one of my fav writers! Treat to watch.
Wow, that moodu sarlu chadivavu tirgi iccheyala dialogue is so similar to something my brother told me once! I had written a small writeup, and had published on a social media platform to which one of my friends commented 'I read it thrice', to which my brother commented 'See someone had to read it thrice to understand what you've written:P'. @Ram Venkat, amazing interview, as always! @Srini Avasarala, I'm a huge fan of your writing! And your sense of humour. Like Prabhavathi says (which you've written:P) "You have a zany sense of humour".
I can't thank you enough for making this hilarious movie, it helped me a lot during my deep depression phase to divert from the topic by repeatedly watching this movie full of laughter
Very good interview brother.. suggestions:
1.Ask more about the screenplay (plot points)..nuv alrdy chuse untav kada recent ga interview kosam..ye plot points neku intersting ga anpinchayo dani gurinchi adugu...and Ask about Roadblock in writing process like ye plot point daggara ekkuva struck ayyadu ani...Also about alternative screenplay or alternate endings ideas emina undena ani.
2.Editing gurinchi kuda adugu which is the most important technical aspect...like entha cut chesaru ani, emina important editing table contributions etc...pls reply something if acknowledged..
Beautiful interview, very night questions. Those would’ve been the questions I would want to ask.

Such an empowering interview it is. Kudos, Ram. Keep doin' more.
Guys, If you haven't watched phalana abbai phalana ammayi please give it a try

Matured story telling untundhi, some technical elements pushed the movie into an unfinished piece.
a unfinished classic
