    ••• DESCRIPTION •••
    To be clear, I wash my dreadlocks with shampoo once a week. This is the first time I've done a "deep clean" where I soak my hair in a mixture of natural products meant to deeply penetrate and clean any lingering dirt inside the dreadlocks. The mixture I used:
    3 cups apple cider vinegar
    1/2 cup baking soda
    2 tablespoons lemon juice
    1 tablespoon sea salt
    Stay tuned until the end to see the final outcome, including maintenance and a haircut!

    • @RebeccaSisson
      @RebeccaSisson  3 роки тому +1

      I'm not a professional, but as long as you are drying your dreads completely after washing / getting them wet you should be fine. It's not the lint that would create mold, it's wetness that stays in there too long.

    Oh so sorry, they look the same before and after. They must carry bacteria since the inner hairs never can breathe. Hair should be free and beautiful. Not knotted up. I have never understood why anyone would want dreadlocks. To brush the scalp is so invigorating and healthy. To wash ones hair daily or every other day is good hygiene to smell fresh and clean. Just looking at the dirty water was creepy. Your carrying that dirt around daily and on your pillow at night. Dreadlocks truly ruin ones hair.
