We took our car on a train! Did you know you can pack up your car and take it on the train? The Amtrak Autotrain only has 2 destinations Sanford Florida (about an hour north of Disney) and Lorton Virginia (about 20 minutes outside of DC)
This is such a great way to travel home from Disney since everyone will most likely be exhausted and yes you can take the train one way. We have travelled on the Autotrain many times and absolutely love it! - Розваги

Thanks BuffaloDeb! We used to travel on the Autotrain several times a year but it got pretty expensive after the pandemic and luckily we found a good rate 😊
I remember when we took and am track train from Savannah Georgia to Birmingham Alabama in the car that has seats . my mom and brother and me I was about 12 years old !!
That’s awesome Janet! We have never been on a regular Amtrak train just the Autotrain lol. We have always wanted to travel out to the West coast and see California by train. That would be amazing!

@janetrowe1650 that’s so smart! We always take food we once got delayed and they literally ran out of food. The Amtrak employees had to get of the train and get pizzas

Everything depends on supply and demand so it fluctuates quite a bit. You can check on Amtrak.com and type in auto train to check specific dates. If your travel dates are flexible that really helps!
