there are clones available and I can tell you that they do almost everything, however there are some vehicles that are not available on the clone version and the software is only updated usually to within 4-6 years of current models. So you can read most cars up to 2013-2015

It is all vehicle dependent, if the software supports the feature it will be displayed in system features. Generally there is a feature for resitting back to basic settings, I was able to do it on my Golf 4 2002. Log into the ECU and check it out, as long as you do not change any settings than you will be able to access all of the system settings that are available on the vehicle
The clones am just glorified code eraser ....I done a regen with it tho ....not see if key programmer works tho... I might see if VB can open this project and change the UI needs combo boxes and shit 🙂
Im using the ds150 tool on a Mitsubishi L200, when connecting to the diesel system i get the error, vehicle not responding, when i connect to other systems the tool will connect and read errors etc. i need to force a fuel pump relearn, any ideas?
pinchers101 depends on what year it is. Some ECU's are OBD, OBD I, OBD II, etc... I'm pretty sure depending on that, it will determine what you can access. Many vehicles have basic read and erase fault codes, depending on how many sensors are on the vehicle will determine how many features are available when connecting to the ECU and available on the software. If the vehicle supports it, you are able to individually test each fuel pump under "component activation" which usually helps but like I said it depends on the vehicle. Try be specific as possible when selecting vehicle engine and type of systems, very important because the same car may have different engines with different sensors etc... Hope that helps

There minor features that you can program or code as it is referred to however it is not recommended as a coding tool, there are other software's specific for coding depending on what make and model the vehicle is. Delphi is more specifically a general diagnostics tool for an extremely wise range of vehicles. If you are a personal used I wouls suggest looking at coding software specific to your vehicle or if you are a mechanic than it serves a much more significant purpose as it can read almost any vehicle. Best thing to do is plug into the ECU and see what system feature and functions are available, there are vehicle specific activation features that allow you to go into certain areas of the control modules. See what it available and refer to a manul for coding procedures if necessary, as you go through the various steps there is generally informational tabs that give you tips and instructions as you go along. Worst case scenario, do what you can and refer to google and see for additional coding software's specific to your vehicle, there are so many. Hope this helps

I just bought this for dpf regen and although it reduces soot levels to about 1-2 grams, it then shows about 33grams when I try the "check soot level" option (incidentally shows full as 60grams limit). I tried this on 2 cars and both show same although in another option screen (where you have a list of about 160 odd readings/screens) one of the readings does however show the correct 1-2 grams. Why is this and should it not show 1-2 grams instead of 33grams? It is as if 33grams is still there when clearly i counted down to 1-2 grams. I have to add I did regen without it requiring it just to test and the dpf light comes on during regen but goes off when complete.
@@chebud1306 my apologies...You are able to code the rail injectors however, it must be done through the engine model number. There is a box with different codes, AHK, PLK, HYC, Etc...Those are all engine codes specific to the models of the cars, the engine model number can be obtained either on the bottom of the engine or in the user manual and if not than ask Google. Once you log in through the exact engine model number, you will see the feature to code rail injectors...I know this because I helped a guy code the injectors and a land rover...There are also a wide range of other component education features. You can go into each module and see what else is available...I hope that helps

Hi. No programming needed, aftermarket boost sensor was not good. I needed a genuine one and also make sure that rubber hoses to the sensor (about 3-4of them) are not kinked or perished.
So I deleted a few fault codes already BUT I keep having fault codes pop up that are apparently permanent and don’t want to be erased... any way you could help?

Yes there are, i own the exact same program/instrument. And i have done several dpf regenerations. i did a regen 2 months ago on a Volvo V70 eDrive 1.6t 2010 (D4164T) after i changed its DPF to a brand new one. The instrument could ofcourse reset the Ecu:s Dpf "Mileage" aswell. I highly recommend this tool to anyone becauce it has never failed me so far, after 4 or 5 years of use til today ^^ no bullshitin :)

There are problems with clones unfortunately so I always suggest going mainstream but those codes are only reference numbers for the fault so people can find them. All faults are numbered, for what purpose do you need that information
There several potential possibilities, the sensor could be faulty or there could be a manual procedure done through steering components that do a manual reset. Worst case take it in but generally try and erase the fault code back to basic settings in the read fault code. Otherwise try go in through an All Systems scan and erase it, if that doesn't work than its most likely an issues with the sensor itself or manual reset. I hope that helps a bit

There are many different engines on all the models and not all are wired with the same sensors....Try go in as specific as possible or try do an "All Systems" scan...if this doesn't work than you will have to look at a Haynes manual or something to see the manual reset procedure. I do not know it for your vehicle off hand. However take it to a mechanic or ask Google or check UA-cam because there may be something to give you more insight. It all depends on the make and model, there are ample injector activators where you can test each individual injector under component activation. You can test, reset and if the vehicle supports it you can code new injectors if the old ones need to be replaced. There will be an option to program the new number on the injectors if I'm not mistaken, can do a custom test also afterwards to see if everything is calibrated properly. Out of what I have tested this one is quite versatile, can test on a wide range of vehicles. It's also hard to mess things up, there are phases you have to go through before anything is coded. Nice thing about this is the testing of individual components. Lots of other really good products on the market too though

Always make sure to use original products, there are many software issues with aftermarket Delphi products. Would suggest return to supplier or product refund or replacement

As long as you are not changing settings, it is safe to freely browse through whatever features are accessible through what is presented in the software

Although the majority on the market right now are clones, there is always updated software being released that helps keep the tool up to date. For the most part, they all have the same functions, features, programmable features and activations.
kakazfurtado no problem, you can only do limited programming on certain keys on car models. The best way to check out what is available on the models is to start plugging in various cars and exploring the features on the vehicles...If you want to program keys, than you need to look at key programming software. Much better to get software specifically for key programming due to its complexity. Search for key programming software and start reading the specs on the units and what cars they support, just remember that there is not one device that does everything. If you are getting into vehicle diagnostics or wish to explore what you can do in the field than it is best to buy multiple devices. Out of all the ones I have tried and tested, this is one of the best and most versatile tool to use and very user friendly.
i have problem..when i use a demo mode, there a lot posibilities to check, when i go normal mode, i got a much less features to chech..both modes are tried on the same vehicle...sorry for bad english
ivan novakovic yes demo mode is set up as a generic feature just so that you have an idea of how to access the modules and features...Please keep in mind that not all vehicles have the same functions and features, newer cars or the German vehicles have alot more accessible features and allow you to do alot more than some of the less advanced or entry level cars. Demo mode is only demo mode, if you want to try and access more features on the vehicles you are diagnosing, try and all systems scan or try another model that is similar to the car you are diagnosing. Some models also activate certain features, so the car might support it but it won't show up on the scan if the manufacturer has not activated that function or feature
ivan novakovic not sure what you are asking but you need to keep hitting back till you are out of demo mode than select your vehicle from the top left. Otherwise restart the program, no reason you shouldn't be able to get out of demo mode....Keep trying and let me know, I just try to help if I can. I am not an expert on this

Find the faulty sensor and fix connection or replace is best just replace em all then ya know they all good and it's not the connections 🙂

Although the majority on the market right now are clones, there is always updated software being released that helps keep the tool up to date. For the most part, they all have the same functions, features, programmable features and activations.

kakazfurtado no problem, you can only do limited programming on certain keys on car models. The best way to check out what is available on the models is to start plugging in various cars and exploring the features on the vehicles...If you want to program keys, than you need to look at key programming software. Much better to get software specifically for key programming due to its complexity. Search for key programming software and start reading the specs on the units and what cars they support, just remember that there is not one device that does everything. If you are getting into vehicle diagnostics or wish to explore what you can do in the field than it is best to buy multiple devices. Out of all the ones I have tried and tested, this is one of the best and most versatile tool to use and very user friendly.
i have problem..when i use a demo mode, there a lot posibilities to check, when i go normal mode, i got a much less features to chech..both modes are tried on the same vehicle...sorry for bad english
ivan novakovic yes demo mode is set up as a generic feature just so that you have an idea of how to access the modules and features...Please keep in mind that not all vehicles have the same functions and features, newer cars or the German vehicles have alot more accessible features and allow you to do alot more than some of the less advanced or entry level cars. Demo mode is only demo mode, if you want to try and access more features on the vehicles you are diagnosing, try and all systems scan or try another model that is similar to the car you are diagnosing. Some models also activate certain features, so the car might support it but it won't show up on the scan if the manufacturer has not activated that function or feature

ivan novakovic not sure what you are asking but you need to keep hitting back till you are out of demo mode than select your vehicle from the top left. Otherwise restart the program, no reason you shouldn't be able to get out of demo mode....Keep trying and let me know, I just try to help if I can. I am not an expert on this

hi there. this is verry interesting, by the way. can you make a video on how to diagnose kia sportage, using delphi. my brother in law doesnt know how to start or how to diagnose kia sportage. the problem is it wonts start the engine. oh i mean that engine doesnt want to start. :(
