Yes hahaha, and even Americans and English arent safe because we Australians make fun of their accent already. Need an Aussie civ that goes "what mate" "she'll be right".
@@henrik9658 many thongs, your planned actiobs, like, settler by x turns when it developes that you really needed archers. I agree that choping forest to speed up incomw, can offset this, but when you do not have the needed protection afforded by defending units...at the needed time, well, events take thier course.
Unlike emperor they will actually get rifling pretty fast on immortal so it still needs to be played exceptionally as there's a ticking timer on the tech
When I see Cyrus I know half of all the barb cities will be taken by his op immortal. Just 1 immortal roaming around the map took like 4 barb cities. He would wait in city till archer was made or showed up then take another. I'm like this is the last time I have Cyrus in the game. And the funny thing is he cripples his economy doing that cause of the city costs. Their are other civs that do that but Cyrus is the worst IMO by far for barb city spam. BTW HI Henrik. Hope you and your family are well! Thank you for the amazing uploads!
killer capital ! shaping up for a real potential win which is quite the achievement for AW on Immortal - I have only ever Emperor myself. Don't forget free extra happiness in your capital from the monument, definitely worth for 30 hammers 😀
@@henrik9658 Haha, yeah. I'm about 75% through so far, and it's been funny watching Monty throw his archer's lives away on your eastern-most city. Who attacks across a river into a hill city using archers against full fortified Immortals? He's crazy man, lmao.
when you attack with a unit, you can tell if you win before the animation is finished by looking at the colour on the unit - eg at 40:38, when you attack, the colour is yellow, which means that it has survived - green and yellow means it lives, red if it dies. Just a handy visual trick I found. it is only yellow if you have spent a movement point before attacking. can also tell if the unit is wounded by the shade of the colour
When war is always played, how convenient is it to found a religion? If you have it ould it help you more with production? It's worth it? This map is hello, do not expand to much because neighbour are so close XD
Easier to capture a religion than found it yourself. You're kinda on a tight schedule getting pottery, bw, ah, iw, and then elephants up in time and delaying it 5 turns could be a disaster
11:11 - "it's my mission to imitate every language in this game" - the most REAL and NOBLE civ4 quest I've heard 😤💯

Absolutely Most Noble aim in Civ4 play...imatation is somewhat high praise...Id say go 4 it.
"Didi dazu"
amazing so far
Delaying anything, especially immortal, is very dangerous ... too many things can go wrong in a hurry.
Huh

Actions, misspelled
Nice capital. When you get rid of Monty and Didi dazu the game will be yours.

Hell yeah now it’s your turn to have the diabetes start
This is probably the most enjoyable civ 4 video i ever watched. Very exciting how you can just troll so many civs with immortals.
Makes me want to try Persia next time

Been listening To this in the background at work lol you have a future in radio/podcast if you wanted to
Haha, I see you're cosplaying as Monty from your last series with that start.
Yes the tides have turned this time I got 6 bastards to deal with. But this honestly felt easier than just 1v1ing Monty with that terrible start

Have you ever tried one-on-one and speed run a game within 30 minutes? allows for yoloing more moves and go faster.
It's really nice to see a new series up so quickly. BTW, awesome start for this AW and looking forward to seeing you smash.

Yes!!! I love always war!
Henrik + Always war = awesome!!!
Nice, AW is always fun
So nice of monte and giggles to be place-holders for you when you need to expand westward :P

Thank you for this great video!
I was wondering if you could do me a favor? Can you please remove the old x markings that you are no longer using?
It's from weeks ago so sadly I don't have time machine, I'll try and keep it tidy in future but no promises. I forget they even exist.
What's the command to add future city map markers?
@@henrik9658 Please promise me, I will be so happy and I can relax ;-)
@@PhildoBaggins I think it is alt + s.
If you are using BTS and BUG you also have the option of using alt + x to place dotmaps for your future cities.
That's so cool !
TBH I've never played Cyrus, Darius with that FIN looks sooo much better fr
Darius for peace, Cyrus for war
Darius is good but feels boring to me tbh. Charismatic imperialistic are a lot more interactive and honestly are stronger in always war.
The 4 calendar resource starts are always nice
Calendar resources are pretty terrible but sugar settle is cool. It's the fact there's 3 super tiles in the capital (corn cow horse) making it strong
