All you had to say was Aprilia... there are a lot of brands that look great. There are a lot that sound great. But Aprilia looks AND sounds so good in addition to it's performance that it's hard to want anything else
My father used to sell these and he borrowed one home so I could give it a spin. Jesus what a bike. I feel the urge to own one but honestly with the roads I ride my Duke 790 is perfect... But just for the sound alone I am going to need to buy one, at least for a while. If there ever was a bike that gives you devil horns it's this one...
Great video and really enjoyed hearing your comparison comments against the Streetfighter V4. After watching what seems like way too many reviews on the top 4 super naked's - I just brought the Tuono V4 and fitted an Akro slip on. OMG what a sound, Heaven! You cant help but downshift all day to get that sweet exhaust note one more time! Oh and thank God for cruise control. :)
I’ve never ridden a street fighter I have ridden a Tuono. If I won the lottery, I’d buy both but for 50-60% of the cost depending on the models you buy it’s the Tuono for me.
That bike sounds super good. I haven't heard one in person though. My favorite sounding bike is the R1. Something about that crossplane engine is music to my ears. You should test ride my super powerful R7 to see what you think of it.
My 2014 RSV4 track bike with bolt on/tune makes 172rwhp, the 2015+ they changed the head/valve/pistons and those make 180-185. Anyway my mate has a 2016 S1000RR that makes 189rwhp, on paper it seems like a big difference, in reality he pulls a bike and a half on me on me by the end of the straight, and then I get him around turn 3, don't get caught up in numbers.
Sounds good, but way too loud for daily use in my opinion 🤷♂ I still prefer the Duc if I had to choose between the 2 (except cruise control and a fuel gauge WTF Ducati)
What's stopping me is that I don't personally like the way Aprilias look. But I think they're great bikes if you're into performance! (Which would be weird if you don't do track days at all LOL)
I want to get another bike, along side my sv650 daily, for fun and renting out and the Tuono V4 is one I'd love to get but reliability is the main concern with it. That sound 13:30 though...making me want to make a questionable decision.
Stated in another comment my father used to work in an aprilia workshop and the trouble they have had with all of them almost is a small O-ring that leaks oil into the water escape between cylinders and the electronics for some reason. Other than that if you service them they seem very reliable. Sure, compared to a boring Honda the statistics may say otherwise but just to give you my two cents.
Didnt you change the sprocket on yours. That will make any bike spunkier . (use more gas). That thing sounds good, I'd take the less power for the creature comforts , yours is like mine , a play toy with no real practicality. Twisting the throttle and feeling it jump is the thrill, which you're addicted to like me.
I definitely think the Ducati looks much better, but I at least like the refreshed (‘21 and up) Aprilia V4 models a bit more. The front end on the older ones looked much worse.
For the record i didnt let him keep the "high score" on the dash! I had to reclaim it! Lol

Yes, ride this bike more. I love the looks of the Streetfighter but I personally love the Aprilia better. The looks and sound is better in my opinion.

Best sounding bike

Put it in race mode, completely different experience 😊

You should give in to the temptation and get one. Best bike I’ve owned (rsv4)
If I had unlimited money I would own both. haha

You didn't mention the large price difference. Aprilia is the best bang for your buck

8:56 not the clibbins
HOSS HADALAYER DOWN
I love the looks of the previous model, this one does nothing to me. I guess both would give a similar riding experience. So...
I’d love to own that but it would bring nothing but trouble for me
for the price there isnt a better bike
Is the link pipe also from LV? It looks titanium and I didn’t think they did that outside the cans.
He had the pipe coated, that’s why it looks different!

I did change the sprocket on mine, and I agree that it’s just as enjoyable without the crazy power because of the creature comforts.
@@OneWheelUp17 Both are definitely awesome bikes.
Nice bike but not for me. I don’t like the looks at all.

You need a Honda 50
