- On 16/04/14 I decided to take a trip on one of the 2 commercially registered B737-700's left in Australia up to Mackay as I have heard these will be retired in August :( While I was up there I spent some time spotting which will be uploaded in another video. Anyway the flight was very uneventful. The crew were some of the friendliest I have ever had. The plane had the new leather seats which were very comfortable and legroom was ok for someone of my 6ft2in frame! :) The beautiful sunrise and early morning light made for some spectacular filming conditions.
In this video we taxi down to A3 holding point for Runway 19 and then takeoff using the CORAL4 SID for our departure which take us right over the top of Brisbane City.
3:55 for Actual Takeoff

Great video!
looks like it was a nice ride :) !!!!
Great morning takeoff! It is a shame that they are phasing out the 737-700s. I liked!
I am taking this flight and back to Brisbane in a few days, very excited, how was everything mate?
+Joshua Moore The flights were great with Virgin Australia: on time with very friendly cabin crew.
