It's the reason that I prefer this recoding to her more recent one.
The music is coming right from her toes ... she doesn 't "play" music, she "IS" music ! Musician myself for all my life I feel my heart tremble by hearing and seeing her play ... Sami and David: you can be proud of having played music with this fantastic young lady ! With all respects for you both ! And with a lot of thanks from over the ocean (The Netherlands, Europe) for putting this on UA-cam. She is a sunbeam in ones life ...

Ok, that's it for me... This girl is the best female guitarist ever, already. And going for top ten of all time of either sex some day. The tone, the timing, the way she plays around the beat. She has nailed every classic that I've hard her play. Just remember Ayla, all artists can handle failure, few can handle success. Good luck. I rooting for you!

I've been trying to think of a new cover for you. I hesitate to suggest this one because it is so difficult, but I will, Johnny Winter's "Life is Hard". It's one of the most powerful, lyrical and subtle pieces that I know. I don't want to break you, but you might give it a listen. Not a song to make your vocal debut, because the words would sound ridiculous from a young person, but the guitar is worthy of your effort. And it is one of a few Johnny Winter songs that can be played without finger picks. Cheers!
Edmund Henderson it's freaky she plays different styles. Santana. David Gilmore. SRV. Zach Wilde. I'll crap my pant if she busts out Jack White. She could probably pick up a 5 string bass and play Jerry was a race car driver.

Been watching this young lady lately and have been blown away. She's a real natural. By the way, this tune was actually written by Tito Puente and made famous by Santana.

I love several genres of music including rock, classical, jazz and Latin. Ive seen and heard a lot of the great ones in my lifetime. I think I learn the most from Ayla... watching her fingers play as I tab out the sheet music on paper. Same with Ayla's cover of Zep Since I've been loving you. No words... just nice fret close ups... then frontal zoom outs... up close again to observe finger work. Great camera work, no too much, not to little. Great teaching tool... not to mention Ayla's incredible talent.

Wow brings back memories. Recall listening to this in the 70`s when I was 18 riding in a car. Who knew I would be listening to this decades later by a very talented young lady with her talented back up. Awesome.
They remind me of this brother and sister from Chicago that played all the time for free or food .
