This just brought a tear to my eye. My father had a 66 Mosrite Combo that was with what seems like a rare Moseley Vibrato . My godfather had a 12 string with the same burst. Strummed on it for years as a little kid . You just cannot appreciate the sound the originals had. Dont get me wrong , this one , it sounds , but yeah. Miss that damn guitar and on the search to buy it back . Well done .
Matt and Chris, this is Brian (using the significant others address on youtube), I'm a Moserite fan and that's a work of art! Your reveals are important. They also signify your energy and enthusiasm. I just wish I had your stamina. Do it all while you can. I'm older and it takes so long to do anything. Thank You!
That Toastrite is Way to KOOL. Texas toast talent coming thru!!!!!!!!!!! They make GREAT SURF guitars, the guy in the Ghastly Ones uses one, or he did. They are on UA-cam, I got all their CD's. Bet he would like a Toastrite!!!!
Oh yeah, that Mosrite is is too cool! Love the reveal vids and love black limba! I have an old friend that gigs a vintage double neck Mosrite! Cheers Matt and Chris!
We have made one 2x neck Mosrite style guitar you will never see it though because the owner thinks it's too heavy. I mean, it is 2 guitars, and we told him it was going to be a chunk but he voted to proceed and be disappointed.
I have a lot of fun with the reveal videos, plus it's a great way to show y'all some of the cool stuff we have going on in the shop... and sing HAHAHAHA

YAY! Real beer. Luv you guys and don't take my joking personally. Beautiful guitar. Wish i could afford to have you guys build me a guitar. One of these days I'll build one. The neck scares me. Haha
Reveal vids are good! Had a 64' Mosrite in the shop early this year. Never knew the nut width was so narrow. 1.5" but I thought it played great. Thought the strings would feel more crowed. You should put your logo on the headstock since you built the guitar. Unless you're worried that the Gumby shaped head would be a copyright infringement.

Burly sounding guitar. Looks great as well!
Thanks Alec, we had a lot of fun with this guitar
Good stuff. Black Limba is a favorite of mine.
It is a really cool wood, I would use it more if it were more available. I mean, it isn't hard to get but it isn't as easy as say maple
Hell yeah I love the reveal vids
I love doing them too, glad you are enjoying them Paul
RAD! Love it!
Thanks Joe, you dig it the most baby!

I think I irritated a few people during the last podcast, I didn't mean to, in some cases I did but that's just me.
I like the reveal videos too, they are a lot of fun
'Walk Dont Run' that was the first thing i learned to play!
Great song for sure
I’m still apparently working on learning it.
That’s gorgeous! I’ve owned a few Mosrites. Still have a Ventures bass. They really made way too narrow necks. Rickenbacker too. I can’t play them. 😕
I'm a fan of widening the neck on these, it makes a difference for sure
Absolutely!!!!!
Thanks for watching my friend
That's a good looking guitar
Thanks so much Rob, we had a blast with this one
The reveals are great, keep them up. I gotta see if my wife will let me get that BKP Casanova...
Oh, now you are talking, that guitar is super cool
Reveal videos rule! They're the new "since sliced bread" standard for awesome
Thanks brotherman
This is way cool!
Thanks Jon, I really like this guitar too
You guys just kick a$$👍

Reveal videos rock
I like them too, they are really fun and I like showing off the new guitars
Incredible finish! Were the provided pickups Hallmark, Ed Elliott, or something different?
They were Hallmark
nice one!
Thanks Lynn, this was one of my favorites
I have a request... Please do a video on how you did the body binding on this guitar! Cos its bound and also round over and I don't understand how
Let me see what I can do brotherman

Cool headstock
I dig it too, this one turned out pretty slick
Put me down for more reveals. I dig'em
PS.. I love surf guitar... Rock On, Chris
More reveals coming soon Scott
Great video. I think you need to make a song out of that
Actually that is already a song done by one of my favorites Clarence, Blow-Fly Reed.
I stole it
Is that table as close to the guitar on Chris's right side? Looked scary close!
Maybe it was an illusion
I know it's a late reply but the ice blue Stratotoaster guitar is cool!

I'm confused...
How would that be a Les Paul if it was also a JEM?
Make more Toastrites!
We have several going at any given time and one available for sale on the website too
Nice guitars! Question, the tuners on my Mosrite guitar were replaced about a decade ago and now have become very stiff for turning. Any recommendations on lubrication for these vintage replacements?
I would try some white lithium grease, you can guy it in a syringe for precise application
Reveal videos are cool because each guitar is different. If you made strats all day, it would be a different story.
I have a lot of fun with the reveal videos, there is one guy who likes to hack on me for doing them but last time I checked it is my channel HAHAHAHA
@@TexasToastGuitars as long as that one guy isn't Chris I think you're pretty safe. 😆
