Why the extremely slow speed between 04:25 and 07:40 in the video? I was running the 700 at that crawling speed for the 700 and first few cars of the train as we tested for the first time the movement of our equipment over the two full flange bearing diamonds located where we cross the TriMet MAX light rail line to Milwaukie. There were PRPA volunteers stationed on both sides of the train at the crossings to stop us immediately if we started to climb the rail. While the flange bearing diamonds are limited to Class 1 speed, we were being extra cautious on our first use of them.
