Because of the nature of my job, sales, I need to have a higher credit limit for work-related expenses which can be reimbursed. I already have some credit history built in Canada with a secured 500-dollar credit card from TD. However, they won't raise my credit limit unless I keep depositing money as collateral, but right now I am unable to do that. What credit card would you recommend based on my current situation? I am hoping to get enough points under the express entry pool to get an ITA via the Canadian experience class. P.S. What country are you from? Thank you!
Hi Pablo, thank you very much 🙏 since you have been working in Canada and have already certain credit history, you should certainly be able to obtain another credit card with a higher credit limit without collateral needed. I personally have great experience with newcomer account with credit card without collateral with higher limits at RBC Royal Bank or Scotia Bank. ( my background is Slovakia :)

Yes, it definitely is. They report the same way to the Credit Bureau as does group #1 👍
