Love Marsden Grotto!.....Spent a lot of time there, before The Marsden Rock collapsed. A lovely sun trap area in the summer, sheltered from the wind, and was quite a good swimming place when the tide was in.
I would loved to have seen it before 1996 and before it collapsed would have been great

As someone who uses Kale a lot in salads, its funny watching you two ponder over it 😂recoverying from having a cyst removed from my jaw today so cant eat anything exciting but this sure as hell cheered me up. Thanks mate

Great video Terry pity you didn’t go towards Souter lighthouse witch was Marsden village behind you & Keano my mam & dad was from there the village was demolished in the 1960s search on google for details it will give you a history if you drove along the coast road 😄&past Whitburn mill that’s the street where I lived we climbed the th mill loads of times when I was a kid happy days 👍

As a veggie I think it looks like curly leaf parsley - a bit too light for curly kale. . It’s the latest rip-off ingredient to let a restaurant charge £18 for a burger with a few chips!!! Could’ve had 3 more pints for that Terry.

@@Madsoutandabout It worked out at about £15 for fish and chips with curry sauce but food was delicious especially the curry sauce. We really enjoyed our food. A great atmosphere there. The views were stunning, I'd highly recommend it

The place is a shithole, my lass and me stayed there last year for our anniversary, no internet, stayed in the best room and it was minging, spider webs all over the windows and mould all round the little en suite, would not recomend to anyone
