When I start a Co-Op Dungeon...how do I know immediately who's tanking and who's DPS? I'm not seeing any specific markers that differentiate the roles. I'll be trying your controller scheme; thank you
In a pug you have to hope the team is communicating. I have yet to see a tank actually tank in a pug. Based on the abilities I have seen in the game I could be mistaken but The only real tank in the game seems to be the sword and shield user. The great sword user doesn't have enough CC and threat building abilities to be considered an actual tank. If your in a pug and not a dedicated team that has roles and strategies formulated just do your best to keep the most important people alive but healing is limited so if players are not avoiding area attacks or contently changing aggro someone's going to die and there is nothing you can do about it. Its this way in most mmos and most other mmos have better healing abilities. I usually main a healer in other mmos. Sometimes I just simply let players die to get the point across if they will not stop pulling aggro before the tank can get it built up.
Is there a way to turn off healing guild/alliance members for GvG fights? I find it hard to focus on healing my party because it keeps locking onto them
There is a menu that has your morphs and amitoi house in it I access by holding down the left stick. In the menue page with the amitoi house teleport there is select friendly target option turn this off that should fix the issue
My game keeps switching targets to heal… for example if I’m targeting a teammate through my d pad and I start getting attacked or viceversa my game instantly switches lock to the player that’s getting attacked even if I don’t want to… it’s so annoying and makes targeting so difficult
The menu that I use hold left stick to get to has morph and amitoi house and target icons. in the second page with the amitoi house there is a select friendly target if that is on turn that off see if it fixes the issue.
@@CamwayGaming I’m con console! I’ll try this. I think it might also has to do with if one of my teammates goes invisible or invulnerable I can’t target them so it automatically switches me to someone else
How do you change controller targetting preference? On Keyboard in settings you can set priority for target switching (e.g bosses or players), but that option seems to disappear for controller
Have you tried using astral vision? It helps for me targeting is also a proximity so you will target those closest to you first. under target you can uncheck everything but players. ultimately I just use the crosshairs to target who I want and then it right bumper to make them the focus
@@CamwayGaming Thanks for the reply! I use astral vision, but I find it buggy and it doesn't work a lot of the time, especially if the astral vision target dies, it bugs out and stops updating. Locking on also has a bug that freezes the camera if the locked on target dies... Wish they'd fix all the game breaking bugs on controller!
👍👍👍👍 this will help thanks again for such a great video
I am glad it helped thank you for the great comment!
Nice random find here. Gonna make some changes later, thx
Glad the video helped! Just a few minor changes to the control set up helps make the game more enjoyable.

That sounds frustrating I have not had that issue are you on console or PC?

settings/gameplay/target
@@StvnDaHeathn Thanks! I have this setting selected, however it almost still seems to prioritise monsters over players Does it work for you?
