I WAS JUST THINKING THIS. Like I remember showing people TFB in high school and all these years later they have the entire Reading/Leeds crowd singing Twin Size Mattress.
I found them back in 2011 and I even flew from denmark to london, just to hear them warm up for another band at an unofficial concert at a bar. Their music has meant the world to me and I feel so god damn proud :')
The ending to twin sized mattress really helped me. It's so good. Having something to relate to is powerful, very grateful for these dudes and the music.
"Dad why is my sister named Rose?" "Because your mother likes roses" "Thanks, Dad" "No Problem, The Front Bottoms - Twin Size Mattress (Reading + Leeds 2018)"
TFB was the only reason I would have gone to fest this year. So glad I listened to this set on the drive home from work! Was shouting this at the top of my lungs.
Man I remember when they were this brand new indie band from Jersey. Maps was such a unique tune and every other song on that album tore my heart out in the most beautiful way. Still hard to believe that they achieved so much. They deserve recognition. Amazing group!
I pray I get to see them live at least once in my life. I adore them so much and they’ve literally saved my life. There’s nothing I want more than to sing their lyrics back to them in a crowd of people who love them just as much.
I literally would never believe that they’d play reading and Leeds festival after hearing this song a few years back... crazy how things change! So proud of them, they’ve come so far x
Crazy to think when I first saw them they played the smallest tent at Reading and only just filled it. Now 4 years later here they are playing the second biggest!
Rotem ??? If anything the mosh pit makes it better. Imagine the emotion in it. It’s not anger it’s just sadness mixed with the feeling of belonging within the crowd. It doesn’t ruin the song at all
I know this comment is a year late lol, but I'm so proud of them I loved them in middle school and now I'm graduating, I wrote "I wanna contribute to the chaos" on the bathroom stall at my old middle School and I wonder if it's still there probably not tho
Was at their tour ending show of 2017 in NYC and it was amazing! Walking all day, feet were bleeding back was killing me, and it was soo worth it. Amazing vegan food around every corner, and so much to see. That was the trip of a lifetime
You don’t have to have a good voice to be in a band and become famous. All you need is passion and dedication for what you do and a goal to try and reach
To everyone talking shit about the guitarist, how many of you have played in front of a crowd that big? I can guarantee there's not many of you. Give the guy a break.
the guitarists technique is as if hes just picked up it for the first time, focusing really hard to play something not all that difficult - other than that what a performance
Yall are dumb lmao. He doesnt just play bass. And it's done on purpose, when youre just loosely playing. Its fun, and shows the crowd it doesn't matter if you play right or wrong. Its also their music and artists can fuck with their songs however they want or please. For example, look up the time nirvana purposely butchered smells like teen spirit
@@Scout_Warrior I mean I totally get what you're going for, but to be fair, that was protesting against the fact that the show they were on made it mandatory to play with backing tracks and only live vocals. Unless there was more than one time they butchered it on purpose hahaha
Ha his voice and how he sends out his words is it a satire ? It's both serious and the point of being exgarated 😂 this was the first song I heard of these guys maybe back in 2018 put it on my hundred playlist with others
Maybe it was a last second decision to keep doing what he's doing or to change it up in a way but, yeah he can't mess it up too much like that at the end. His guitar takes center stage at that point and everyone can hear whether he's messing up. I was at a show of theirs a couple years back and that dude did phenomenally then and, it was freakin memorable! Go see'em live!
God I feel like a proud father watching this. They've come sooooo far
FUCK YES SAME HERE
SAME!! They've grown so so much *wipes proud tear away*
I WAS JUST THINKING THIS. Like I remember showing people TFB in high school and all these years later they have the entire Reading/Leeds crowd singing Twin Size Mattress.
Like five years I’ve loved them I honestly can’t believe the waves their making it makes me genuinely emotional ❤️
Imma proud momma :"")
if i saw this live i would simply scream the lyrics while crying so hard
same omg
Unstable
@@ShrimpTechStocks i like listening to these guys and spreading bbq sauce on my chest and getting all sticky and hot.
Damn, Front Bottoms really grew up. This video would also deceive people to belive they actually were a radio one hit wonder band xD
my sexuality is literally the audience singing along word for word to the front bottoms at reading leads '18.
Lol.
Shut up
yes

Same
The Front Bottoms, quite literally, saved my life. Brian and Matt, are angels.
Same:)
Same here

That’s amazing!!!
I wish I could see a pub band I love, but they were last active on Facebook 2013 lol
WTF WHY DID NO ONE TELL ME ABOUT THIS PERFORMANCE THIS IS WHt ive been waiting ALL MY LIFE
The ending to twin sized mattress really helped me. It's so good. Having something to relate to is powerful, very grateful for these dudes and the music.
there really just is something about the ending isn’t there? no other TFB song goes as hard
"Dad why is my sister named Rose?"
"Because your mother likes roses"
"Thanks, Dad"
"No Problem, The Front Bottoms - Twin Size Mattress (Reading + Leeds 2018)"
Rose is also named after The Front Bottoms
The way his voice cracks.. “with tears in my eyes”. Thank you Front Bottoms. Thank you 🙏🏼
TFB was the only reason I would have gone to fest this year. So glad I listened to this set on the drive home from work! Was shouting this at the top of my lungs.
That's the only way to enjoy the Bottoms.
Man I remember when they were this brand new indie band from Jersey. Maps was such a unique tune and every other song on that album tore my heart out in the most beautiful way. Still hard to believe that they achieved so much. They deserve recognition. Amazing group!
mat is such a talented drummer. all of them put on such a great show
I pray I get to see them live at least once in my life. I adore them so much and they’ve literally saved my life. There’s nothing I want more than to sing their lyrics back to them in a crowd of people who love them just as much.
I hope I get to see this band some day. This looks incredible
I literally would never believe that they’d play reading and Leeds festival after hearing this song a few years back... crazy how things change! So proud of them, they’ve come so far x

at 0:50 Brian looks like a combo of Tom Delonge and Nathan Drake
Lol, it's the henley Nathan is always wearing one
WHAT? THEY PLAYED AT READING FESTIVAL? PROUD OF THEM.
Why would they not show the massive mosh pit we made?
cause they consider moshpits so 1994
Haha I remember when I went last year, I started 3 moshpits and it was sick
HaterAnnihilator Yeah there were a few at Reading this year but they’re not showing any of them in this video
why would anyone start a mosh pit to this song. what a way of ruining things.
Rotem ??? If anything the mosh pit makes it better. Imagine the emotion in it. It’s not anger it’s just sadness mixed with the feeling of belonging within the crowd. It doesn’t ruin the song at all
3:56 cant get over the guitar solo

I was fucking crying by the end when I was there screaming at the top of my lungs, such a fucking good but short set
Forever the greatest band 💗
Was at their tour ending show of 2017 in NYC and it was amazing! Walking all day, feet were bleeding back was killing me, and it was soo worth it. Amazing vegan food around every corner, and so much to see. That was the trip of a lifetime
Look what you guys have become since maps man! Crazy.

Dude he missed like most of the notes, idk what was happening.
Late comment. But yeah he was really sloppy. But still a great performance of the song.
I like this version and how it was resolved into the last note more than the original tbh
Holy fucking shit dude
