I think with a show with this many main characters, it’s inevitable that the first episode is mostly going to be expository and give you an idea of who the characters are. I can’t tell yet if Marc and Poon’s characters are supposed to be a couple or just friends who don’t yet know that they’re a couple, but I’m sure that will be clarified as time goes on. The friend group who went to high school together is certainly a chaotic group, and that may be a lot of their dynamic, at least to start out with. And I agree that Q and Toey are the couple whose relationship is already the most enjoyable to watch.
