Got to top 50 with this deck, 368 LP on EU (bandle commando instead of sentry). Deck is actually really damn strong, but surprisingly hard to play, there's a lot of risk management with portals and when to spend 5 mana for value.
the reason it has a low win rate is everyone plays aggro/meta decks and always pull the right cards like decimates or noxian fervors , no real room for playing the game anymore with this "let's finish the game in 2 minutes" mentality

RNG is cool and all for casual games but Ranked a place where you go to showcase your skill RNG should never be an element in the first place. Otherwise you would have matches like these. I mean do you think the mono shurima player enjoyed getting hit like that? He was the favoured in the match, he didn't make any mistakes but he was still robbed of his victory because of a dumb RNG mechanic. If he had misplayed at least he could have self-reflected. Tried to correct his mistakes but no one can play around RNG which puts the legitimacy of ranked system itself to question.

Also shit like that happens very rarely and is technically still an outplay on grappelrs part, since you can try to fish for rng and also get gutted. We're talking about this in a portal deck too where RNG is the gameplay itself so idk man sounds like you're the guy in the vid that was playing mono shurima.
