I've spent the last few days trying to talk down Deltarune fans who think that Spamton's unused battle theme and Friend Inside Me are the same song, so it'd be hypocritical to die on this hill.. But, aside from that, was it an intentional allusion on your part though?
@@DoctorScrimguard well, we can ask the creator (relatively small video and the such)! But my interpretation as of now is that, probably, but not directly, as in, subconscious inspiration. Waltzes such as these are such a common way to characterise and theme an area or character that I believe that there may be different reasons for each inclusion of it.
