    Came here from a meditation video comment you left saying you were wanting to move to Japan. It’s beautiful to see you were able to do it!

    Hi Tish, could you please share what your interview was like with Kids Duo? Possible questions etc.
    I’ve seen some interesting reviews on the internet and it’s a little discouraging

      Thank you, I sent you a message on Instagram but I realized you don’t accept messages from unknown persons. My interview is coming up soon

      @@TishTheTraveler I'll also like to hear your experience working for kids duo. I also have an interview coming up. The reviews seem worrisome.

      @@cliford1774 wow!!!!! That’s awesome!!! I definitely need to make a video soon talking about the interview questions but it’s like in the beginning stages of working for kids duo. I am so excited for you. It is an amazing experience. That is life-changing. I’ll definitely be working on a video soon. ❤️

    Hey tish, what was level of your Japanese language when you applied for job and what it is now?

    • @TishTheTraveler
      @TishTheTraveler  6 місяців тому

      My level a Japanese was zero lol 😂. I was truly willing to learn because it is such a fascinating language. It also helps to know how Japanese plays apart and learning English. I know a little bit now like thank you or good morning. 😃 such a beautiful experience. I think everyone should.

    Hey Tish, I was wondering why your time at Kids duo was only nine months. Isn't the contract for 1 year? Did something happen?

    • @TishTheTraveler
      @TishTheTraveler  27 днів тому

      @@calebsmith6399 hey Caleb! You are absolutely correct. The kids do contracts are for a one year. I had a home emergency December 2019. a few months before Covid hit. I was completely devastated that I had to leave. Everyone was completely understanding and help me get home. I’ll have to do a video on the steps that it takes to return to the United States from Japan because it was an experience. Wouldn’t regret it for anything. 💜

      @@TishTheTraveler thank you for the reply. I was offered a position to teach in Kids Duo. Would you recommend going?

    What is it like teaching for this company in Japan? What are the working hours?

    • @TishTheTraveler
      @TishTheTraveler  2 роки тому +1

      Honestly at times it was Extremely busy. You can do to be a little creative but ultimately you’re entertaining the children while “teaching” you completely fall in love with the children and the lessons are premade for you all you have to do is come up with a concept they understand. My hours were 10 am to 7:30pm With a one hour lunch at noon. I worked on Saturdays twice a month for promotional days and that’s considered overtime.
