ive been watching you since I was in High School and now I just had my baby too, thank you for being transparent and showing your progress because im currently 2 months pp and I almost started thinking I wasnt doing well and forgetting about myself because my goal has been to be the best to my babygirl too. You reminded me to slow down and trust the process
not me tearing up at your comment. congratulations!!! enjoy that newborn bubble (as much as you can & I hope you're able to get some sleep in there too). know that you are on your own timeline & you are doing the best you can. speaking from personal experience, that newborn/postpartum phase was so short even though when I was in the thick of it, the days felt extremely long. I'm so glad I took my time to be present and be there for keira and gave myself grace because we are learning in real time how to be new mothers. you are doing better than you think. sending you and your baby lots of love!!!
OMG I am the same way with my diet. I don't have any kids but I did gain weight rapidly due a hormone I balance. I went from a average weight of 115-125 to being my heaviest 159! Within a years time! My gyno told me to cut the process foods and eat super clean. I love eating savory breakfasts now as someone too with a massive sweet tooth. I do really well during the week but weekends I do the same and allow myself some ofmy comfort foods in moderation ofc. I love long walks bc of it helping with your mental. I feel way more refreshed. Walking is low-key underrated when it comes to weight loss.
I agree! I feel like people feel the need to do high intensity workouts in order to lose weight or for health, but long walks at a good pace are so good!! trying to eat less processed foods does help & the more I learn about the food industry, it really is crazy that things that they're putting into our food. healthy during the week & a bit of indulgent things on the weekend ftw
I love you so much Ellen your videos bring me so much peace and happiness and I am so happy for you that you live this beautiful life and the blessing of having your daughter. Please be kind and patient with yourself I know being an influencer can put a lot of pressure on how you always have to look perfect but please only do things that make you feel better and feel healthier
Thanks for the video Ellen. Im pregnant and Im already thinking about how I am going to lose some weight pp and I love that your approach was made the most healthiest way. I dont feel no pressure nor guilt.
I'm so happy to hear this!! there is pressure on women to feel the need to 'bounce back' but try not to jump ahead to pp and try to enjoy this beautiful part of pregnancy. congratulations!!!
Hi Ellen! :) thanks for this video. I'm 29 about to be 30 in November and I've been thinking I need to start taking some supplements so this video was really helpful! Question, how do you know what supplements you should be taking? Do you do some type of blood work first or do you just go off what you think you could use more of?
I did get my bloodwork done for my routine physical, but it didn't really dictate the supplements I mentioned in this video. the ones I take currently are for overall wellbeing and to basically boost my immunity. I think it's best to figure out what your health goals are & to go from there! but I do a good amount to research before I take supplements since it's going in our body!
@@ellenvlora thank you. It's so sweet how you take the time to reply to everyone! I found the vitamin c cymbiotica at vitamin shoppe near me and started taking it. It tastes great
Thank you for sharing this. I am currently 4 months pp. I gained the exact same weight as you during my pregnancy and carried it similarly to you. This video brings me the motivation I need to get back into a healthy routine. My biggest challenge has been breastfeeding. Bf has made me so hungry (and kinda tired) all the time! Your results are amazing! This gives me hope for myself 🫶
This is amazing. !!! What sleep training method did you use for Keira and what’s her sleep schedule ? Struggling with a 6 month old currently with bedtime.
