Gender equality, on the other hand, refers to the recognition and promotion of equal rights and opportunities between women and men.
Gender equality concerns young people because everyone has the same rights: men, women, rural, urban, rich, poor, people with disabilities or without. There should be fair treatment between men and women.
Ultimately, young people have the responsibility to respect and assert their rights.
