Drachenfest 2022: Exploring the markets!

- Drachenfest tends to have a ton of unique vendors each year, while a lot of these for sure took a hit over the past couple of years there was still enough for me to wander about and show ye all kinds of stuff like weapons, armor and all kinds of other trinkets!
Someone told me during DF that the reason for less vendors was that this year there was less time between Drachenfest and ConQuest of Mythodea, so some shops needed to decide on one event, instead of going to both.
Hmmm that also makes sense!
Great to attend the event vicariously through your videos mate. Especially nice to get a look at the current traders still trading.

@@TheIrishWill Hard to say mate. Definitely ConQuest but maybe Drachenfest again at some point. Probably not this year though. It is great to see you continuing to do so well!

I wish i could find a beanie like that. All the ones ove gotten online are never as slouchy as they appear.
Interesting you mention this. I'm stateside atm and found a super similar hat in the menswear section of target! (It definitely takes a bit of stretching out over time though)

Hi! nice video! im looking for a few websites where i could buy some items like seen in the video! im working on an Orc costume for my future larp experience and i need help finding items that would make my costume look as awesome as the ones seen in drachenfest videos!

The craftmanship at those venders looks great! Do you have any links to clothing, armor, weapons etc. vendors, where your views can order from?
I think some are etsy/facebook based, I tried to make sure to always include the shops name so folks can look around for them. Ill add links in future when Ive time!
Are you still looking to make that viking sword/katana hybrid? Also, is there some place I can look at as far as weapons regulations go? Excellent vid by the way.
Ah maybe one day! I really have to upgrade my stuff from "General background character" 😅
I thiiiink there should be something about weapons in the rulebook which I believe is accesible somewhere on the Drachenfest website 🤔

Hey Will whats the craic! Me and a buddy of mine are planning a trip to Drachenfest 2023. We've never done anything like it (We're complete noobs) and I was wondering if you'd recommend waiting to get gear there or before we make the trip out. The shops have some very cool stuff in the video. Cheers man!
For sure get some basic stuff before you head over!
1. It means youre not totally stuck for anything to wear when your over there
and 2. it adds to the hype leading up to the event! 😁
