@@opagunther2113 Wahre Worte. Ich habe die 80er geliebt. Knallige Neonfarben, geile Musik, wilde Partys und vor allem keine elektronische Hundeleine, sprich Smartphone. Damals gab es noch ein Tastentelefon oder eins mit Wählscheibe. Und man mußte Briefe schreiben. Da war nix mit Email oder sowas. Erzähl das mal heute den jungen Leuten. Die gucken dich dann an als ob du von einem anderen Stern bist

This song popped in my head this morning and it was driving me crazy! I knew the lyrics for some of it, but could not remember the name of the band!!! Good old Google!! LOL! They still look great. I don't care if they are lip syncing this. It is a fun typical 80's type of song that you can sing and dance to. Plus, they are playing instruments not mixing or using computers for the music like most artists of today!!!

Ich bin Fernfahrer und habe die wilden 80er Jahre mitgemacht. Noch heute ist das eins meiner Lieblingslieder. Schlechte Laune gab's gar nicht. Das schöne war ja das kein Smartphone hatte, ich nenne das die elektronische Hundeleine. Man mußte nach Karte fahren. Es war auf den LKWs noch alles analog. Sprich Schaltung,keine 1000 Helferlein die das einpennen fördern meiner Meinung nach. Damals musste man noch arbeiten und war ständig gefordert. Und ja, es gab Liefertermine im Fernverkehr. Aber es war damals nicht so schlimm wenn man zum Beispiel von Hannover nach Zagreb gefahren ist und drei Tage später als geplant ankam. Heutzutage macht das alles keinen Spaß mehr. Alles zu schnell, zu eng und zu Hektisch.

Pretty sweet - I know The Other Ones are from Germany (as apparently is this performance). Did they have a much bigger career over there than in the USA? As far as I can remember this is the only song they had that charted in the USA.
Their home base was in Germany but, they are Australian.
