Yoongi is always watching bts even if he doesn't partake. Remember when jin said that music is his only pride and then Jimin said that his pride overflows. Baby army's are always talking about how he doesn't do anything always sleeps and does not interact. The truth is that he is the most open member. If you listen to his music he has told us about suga and min yoongi through agustd. That's his way of loving. The background he came from is a stark contrast to his environment now. He always so fast to devalue himself and never appriceates his produce. There is always room for improvement. He might look contained, confident and collected, but he's the exact opposite. His solo music is always raw cause that's when he opens up. All of his production especially soo far away, seesaw, first love, the last, tear, autumn leaves are a bop to listen to. But if look up the lyrics you'll see exactly what he hides behind his mostly no expressive demeanor. This man cried for the first time in front of a camera when he received his first daesang. When you come from the bottom everything is heightened the higher you climb. But the only thing that he changed is his hair colour, that's a man who knows his priorities. He is clear about bts, music and army. He never hesitates when it comes to these three things. I hope every one can appreciate him and the hyung line just as much as jk and v are appriceated. Bang PD called him the adult child when he was 19. He left home at 15. Earned money, went to school, sold music, made minimal money and lived by himself with only his brother supporting him in a city where people didn't even understand his dialect. Jk said that he wanted to get his first drink with suga and suga made sure that it happened, he looks like he doesn't care but he remembers the most. He got his shoulder broken and stopped bboying altogether, decided to drop out of college cause he was broke and couldn't work because of his injury. He had appendicitis but he lied to jin that he had a stomach ache and was about to perform with a bursted organ. And he would have performed if he hadn't fainted. I always see videos of jk and jimin in bts hardships but there are unspoken things he went through. This man wrote truth and his music got censored all of them. He donates the most in bts. Especially to children. He stayed back with jk during Christmas. Opened a cafe with his hyung in jeju and personalised it himself. Made a parenting diary for his puppy. His love runs deep for everything that is why it's seldom seen. If he was not Asian he would already be one of biggest scenes in rapping. Let's support him army. I used his songs to stop making stupid decisions and I repay it by supporting him and the boys.

Loss of appetite. suga was escorted with a ruptured appendix. there is no way you are conscious after that happens. also he already had CPS. in a lot of ways its like labor pain. the pain doesn't increase it keeps worsening in every minute. dizziness and nausea are the signs of rupture.

I became an Army because of Suga. His lyrics and songs are relatable. Everytime I struggle with my studies and feel like giving up, I listen to his songs as an inspiration and a reminder of my goals.
Real story... I saw him live when I was 12 he was performing in daegu at naksyeon, he must have been 15. Since then every moment in my life starting from my parents divorce to me getting help has been because of his music. When he became an idol I was a little bitter cause I thought that he would not be able to speak the truth anymore. I was about to do something really stupid that's when I heard hip hop phile and his verse made me stop. Then every time I thought of reasons to not live anymore. His music kept me going. I need you, dead leaves, the last, nevermind, so far away, tear(I knew that he produced it without even looking at the credit). I OWE HIM MY LIFE. I'm scared to meet him in person, cause behind the screen he a venerated person I achieve to become like. In person I might realise that he's still the same 15 year old boy I saw. Still intemidating and standing on his own before people twice his size. His lyrics are true cause his lyrics used to be his life.

I, one day, randomly searched " songs about depression and anxiety" . I found 'the last', ' nevermind', 'first love' that day. I found out about Min Yoongi that day. I related to those lyrics so much. He inspires me so much. Even though I am still struggling, but watching them and their journey gives me a little bit of Hope.💜💜💜
I am really happy that you are doing better. We are always going to have some struggles but we must have people close to us, or just people who would not start telling you that you aren't the only one going through those problems, or that you have to stop feeling sorry for yourself, instead, we must understand that it doesn't matter what gender we are, or religion or race or what part of the world, older or younger people, we must understand that each and every one of us may have struggles that some people might or might not understand. Suga said that after Dark and Wild's release, it was the first time he realized that hard work doesn't guarentee success. He's truly such an inspiring person. The least people should give Yoongi is respect. The same goes for every member. BTS deserves all the success and goals they've achieved and they deserve even more.

Yoongi is the strongest person I have ever seen. He went through depression, stress, social anxiety. His parents didn't supported him. He had no financial support. He belonged to a poor family. He is such a hard worker. He writes 1 song per day. About 200 to 300 songs per year. He even worked as a delivery boy to earn money for his career and education. And he wasn't adult even (not even 18) and he started working as a delivery boy. One day he met an accident while he was delivering, his shoulder was permanently damaged and since years he had that shoulder injury but didn't talked about it thinking he might be kicked out of BTS. He had that shoulder pain and injury since 6 to 7 years and finally he had a surgery related to that in 2020 He works harder than you might think. Trust me And there are people who think that suga is so lazy, sleepy all day. It's normal for a person to not show reactions on face, who went through severe depression for years. And there a people who think that suga is cold hearted, emotion less person. Like tf. He cares for his loved ones a lot but he doesn't shows it. The prettiest smile hides a lot of pain. I love you yoongi. You are the best. I'll support you and BTS.💜 I'm proud of you yoongi and the rest of BTS more than the word proud itself.
I am very well impressed how SUGA 's childhood was,he struggled so much for the love of family,though poor when born,he never gave up his dreams ,and he did,though many ups and downs ,he manage to become successful both for himself and for his family,now it's paying back time ,extending help to uplift others, stardom really must be earned,an example of a person name SUGA...a fine young man,so dedicated to his craft,work and passion...I admire this man for being a good role model for our young's today....
Yoongi is the -idol- *hero* for those of us who suffer from depression, anxiety, and/or persecution. When I first got into BTS, I my favorite members were the handsomest ones - and don't get me wrong; I do still love them. But as soon as I learned Yoongi's story, he took first place in my heart (sorry, but I don't feel right about using the word "bias" in this context). I relate to his struggles so very, *very* much. I know why he needs so much alone time, why he's so famous for loving sleep, and why he's so very supportive of the other members. Just knowing Yoongi's out there, succeeding, gives me hope; and his bravery in discussing even the most controversial topics inspires me to speak out more myself. We're lucky to have him.
I feel like Yoongi becoming and idol was honestly smart on his part because he set the bar for more creative freedom and honesty being in the genre. He crack the code as far as him breaking the stereo type of hip hop and now he can actually use the system to display his talents more and do what he was destined to do which is produce and write songs. I feel like the other rappers didn’t catch that. Everyone in kpop to me personally started to all look the same and do the same styles of songs and even now new bands have this thing were they look very cookie cutter and not original. And this is how I noticed BTS they were so different from other bands they all proved to be really genuine. And I could tell that they are good people without trying to fit the standards of what is standard in Korean pop culture. Now Suga can do the music he has always wanted to do. Not that he envisioned that was gonna happen this way but because he decided to debut as an idol he opened up doors for his ultimate dream to come true. He can also use his platform to talk about his struggles and relate to others which is a gift to all of us!!! I think the other guys put hip hop in a box instead of looking at other possibilities. I wouldn’t say it sets the bar for creative freedom because it really doesn’t because if he was really going to put himself out there as in being tempted into signing with one of the bigger companies he would be extremely limited in creativity but I totally understand your comment and admire suga work ethic and him working through his hardships
What was very smart was that he on another route joining bts . That takes guts and faith. He is still able to produce music. With the success of bts now he fully works on his music also. Its brilliant how it played out.

Suga may not be considered handsome in his society's standards but it is ultimately his beautiful soul that draws me in. In my early days of being an ARMY, I had V as a bias, but these days I appreciate all of them and now acknowledge Suga's talent, perserverance and charm. Many may not see it because he usually stays in the sidelines but once you notice Min Yoongi, you get to see what a wonderful person he is. He might be dubbed a tsundere but that is because the emotions he fails to express all bleed into his music and that is why it resonates to a lot of people. What may have been worse than being hit was no support. He did what he had to do FIRST in order to chase his dreams of being a producer long before BTS, my friend. He also slept on the sofas of at least a couple of his high school teachers after being kicked out of his own home on multiple occasions. These teachers have spoken about making sure he had a place to go so that he did not drop out of high school. His childhood struggles always bring me to tears. As for his future years, I will be so happy for him when he finds his “person”. He has so much love in his heart to share. Whoever he chooses to be with will literally be the luckiest person in the world and they better treat him with respect and kindness or they’ll have to answer to ARMYS and ME! LHSM! ❤
This is a perfect example of sheer inner core strength. There will always be someone to try and tell you that you can’t achieve something that you love. Suga knew in his heart where he belonged, and was willing to persevere through all the trials and hardships to follow what he thought was his true calling. Most people would have given up. My admiration for his determination has no bounds. I believe that one reason BTS is so successful, is because all seven members appear to take care of, and back up each other. Egos and jealousy have to be left at the door, because they’re all in this together. They have to communicate and not harbor any resentments toward each other. I think this is what they do, and why they’re so successful, plus they are each enormously talented. I just think BTS is a phenomenal group.

Suga has always been one of my favorites of BTS. He is intelligent, thoughtful, caring, and quietly exudes the quality of love. He is humble in all things and supremely talented. Many questioned his thoughts about being a rock in his next life but I understand it completely. It is that type of mindset that makes him one of my favorites.
This man in true words got control over his demons and came out to be the best version of himself 💜 I wish for him to stay strong and enjoy his life without being scared of all this disappearing. He is so talented that we would never give up on him 😊

They are all grown men in their early to late 20s. Not children physically but still kids somewhat mentally because they were together in the dorm for 7 years and schooled each other. They created their own world of values, ethics, behavior and love for each other. What is truly amazing is their maturity considering they had no family or constant older role models to influence them. They have all turned out to be exceedingly fine people with compassion, kindness, generosity and wisdom. These are not goofy stupid teenagers. Watch the hundreds of videos on YT and see the many things they have done for the world. They are all giving back, not just to Army but to everyone. I was feeling really bad for Suga but when the video got to 23:11, I lost it. Meat to orphanages and money to pediatric cancer. It is the poor and abused and depressed who are the most thankful for their success and Suga proves that. I think if I knew all the charitable stuff he did, I wouldn't stop crying until tomorrow. These boys should be the role models of everyone in the world. They are so much more than a mere pop band. The work that Army does helping people around the world is just so unusual in the music and film industry. No other group has ever championed such a great cause and followed though with their own contributions. Seeing Suga making the fan gifts so carefully on his birthday when he could have had someone else do it gave me huge respect for him. He'll struggle for the rest of his life but I hope he can hold it together and continue to be an inspiration to BTS fans everywhere. Haven't you noticed that all true artists (musicians, composers, painters, writers, poets etc) have the the bane of having psychological issues (personality disorders)? Many of them fall in the spectrum of autism. They have a dark side to their nature. A mental health professional can help them understand this and help them to be able to function but I believe that dark side is where creativity resides, where depth is developed... A wholesome environment can help them through this dark moments. Composing songs is very cathartic, therapeutic specially since Suga is able to open himself up and talk about it. It is great he has his 6 brothers to support him and each other. Love and acceptance for who we are is very important and this he has with his 6 other brothers. They have one another to help them go through these difficult moments as they are still young and having the pangs of growing up. Army too is a great presence in their journey. It's a reciprocal relationship.
Min Yoongi first attracted my attention when I saw a clip of his early days struggling to be producer/rapper. Coming from a poor background, he pulled himself out of poverty to what he is today and I really admire and applaud him for that. I hope that he continue to think better days ahead of him and continue to write songs for his own good. May he always be in good health, body and mind.
When I was first getting curious about bts, Yoongi immediately stood out to me and every single day, my respect and love for him grows. I love all the members so much... but yoongi will always be my bias. He's so wise and thoughtful and caring. His existence gives me so much inspiration and motivation because of everything hes gone through to achieve his dreams and how far hes come. I think hes such an amazing person and role model, and I look up to him do much. I appreciate everything he does and his extremly humble nature. He's not perfect, but he also doesn't try to be. Yes, all of bts keeps information from the world because everyone needs privacy and I respect that heavily, but when yoongi believes something will help someone, he talks about it. And can I just mention how much pride I had in my heart when he said all the BT21 characters should be gender neutral. I almost cried. They were trampled and criticized ("Look at me like that, it's my hobby to prove you wrong") but BTS, especially Yoongi accepts these as challenges to improve their craft and to show those trolls that they have the talent and attitude to conquer the world (""...though your beginning might be humble, may the end be prosperous") and ddaeng conquer they did! His openness in talking about his depression ("Every man dies, but not every man lives") and social anxiety ("Anxiety and loneliness stay forever and how you choose to make peace with them, that needs a lifetime consideration") in interviews and in his songs is his way for others to reach out to supports each other ("People who have the platform to talk about these problems should talk more. I am anxious, so are you, so let's find a way and study the way together") is admirable. I like that he talks about his depression and struggles. I went through some hell when I was younger and it wasn't easy. I didn't talk about it for a very long time. When I finally did, it felt like a huge weight was lifted from my shoulders. It does help to talk about it.

I’ve been putting off this video because I knew what to expect and I knew it would bring me to tears. Whenever someone asks me why I love BTS and Yoongi so much, it genuinely feels like I would never shut up if I tried to explain the reasons. BTS and Yoongi (he’s my bias) have just brought so much happiness, so much understanding, and so much self-growth that I haven’t seen in 20 years of living. They’ve given me the strength to power through my days, even when they seem bleak. While yes, I love Yoongi for his handsome face and gummy smile, he means so much more to me than that. He has given me hope and strength to chase after my dreams. He’s given me so much more reasons to love myself a little bit more, to love others a little bit more. Min Yoongi is so sweet, so precious, so hard working, so motivated, so genuine, and so intelligent. Which is why it pisses me off whenever someone calls him “lazy” or “cold.” I’ll end this here before I write an entire essay, omg.
Smiles to you. For the record, Yoongi once called himself a 'lazy bum' jokingly in an interview with one of the members. When I saw that, it made me wonder had any of the members ever called him that. If so, I don't think they really knew who or what they had amongst them. Though, I'm sure (by now) they do. He's hard working and private. His mind is on another level from what the company expects of him/them.

Yoongi is the reason I am Army. He and his music are the reasons I looked for purpose in my life and chose the career I did. He helped me get over the loss of my mum. I don’t know what path I would have followed had I not found him. He has a beautiful soul, I appreciate every part of him, and love him dearly. I love and appreciate all the members of BTS, the entire group also helped Youngi become the man he is today (as he in turn helped them), and together they have given us amazing music and entertainment. They are all men of substance who try to make the world a better place - I am sure that Korea is very proud of them all, and their families and dear ones too. When Yoongi won the Hot Trend Award, I actually was not an Army back then. I still listened to his speech and respected him but I never knew his background, BTS, and I never really knew who he was. I became an Army this year and it was one of the best decisions I have ever made. I started listening to recent BTS songs and then got into when they first debuted. Yoongi’s rapping has always interested me. Not only that he raps fast, but the meaning behind the lyrics. He tells his life struggles and accomplishments that other people could be going through. His songs provide comfort in those in a hard time or in need of love. Before I used to only pay attention to his fast rapping, but then I started paying attention to the lyrics. His lyrics have very strong meanings that may be hard for him to talk about.Yoongi is in fact, my favorite rapper. Get better soon Yoongi, Army is here for you, take all the time you need to recover from your surgery! 💜💜
My favorite Agust D & Suga songs are the low key - Seesaw, So Far Away, Suga Interlude. I don't really like rap but the way Suga does it is different and I like listening to it even when I don't know the language, it's just powerful and beautiful .I like his attitude of talking out loud about depression. I think most people (as myself) want to help our friends and give support but don't know how. We can help a friend with a cold but how do help when they tell us they have depression - except ask? But sometimes the person doesn't know what they need. I think this is why people shy away or are uncomfortable - not that we don't care, we juts don't know how. I had it in the past and know how it feels, but I worked thru it, discovered who I am and not trying to be someone else and now I'm happy every day. Not everyone can do that, some need medication or professional assistance, but not always. I hope Yoongi/Suga/Agust D continues his dream & never stops making beautiful, wonderful music for all of us in the world to enjoy! : D 3>

I respect Min Yoongi a lot. I only get to learn of him lately & I must say I could relate to most of his struggles. He inspired the hell out of me. Hopefully I could, one day, also overcome the inner conflicts I have.
Yoongi is my bias wrecker. He's introvert like me. Psychologically speaking, introverts are the selfless ones actually. No wonder he gives the most. What I love most about him is he doesn't sugarcoat #truthhurts. If Namjoon is the father of bts, for me Yoongi is the grandpa of BTS. He has depth, wisdom and a diverse knowlegde. Yoongi said people often calls him Mozart or Beethoven. He creates music in just a number of minutes. He's my fav rapper too. His rap is bold and direct. 💜
Suga truly an inspiration to all of us and his talent is out of this world and I have to agree about the hip hop I was never much of a fan of it, but when I started watching bts it was the lyrics in the songs and the harmonizing of all their beautiful voices all together truly is a gift to us all who listen. I also enjoy the songs sung korean it's just so breathtaking 💜🎶 ! Beautiful bts thank you for not changing and for thinking about our up and coming little Army ! Wow! I can't believe I'm just seeing this for the first time. I'm overwhelmed. The more I learn of this young genius, the more I love him. I've admired and studied him for a long time now, and couldn't figure out why I'm so attracted to his spirit. Now, I know why. I admire him so much for being so strong, and just by seeing him go through all of that makes me to never give up on my own fight. Remember when jin said that music is his only pride and then Jimin said that his pride overflows. Baby army's are always talking about how he doesn't do anything always sleeps and does not interact. The truth is that he is the most open member. If you listen to his music he has told us about suga and min yoongi through agustd. That's his way of loving. The background he came from is a stark contrast to his environment now. He always so fast to devalue himself and never appriceates his produce. There is always room for improvement. He might look contained, confident and collected, but he's the exact opposite. His solo music is always raw cause that's when he opens up. All of his production especially soo far away, seesaw, first love, the last, tear, autumn leaves are a bop to listen to. But if look up the lyrics you'll see exactly what he hides behind his mostly no expressive demeanor. This man cried for the first time in front of a camera when he received his first daesang. When you come from the bottom everything is heightened the higher you climb. But the only thing that he changed is his hair colour, that's a man who knows his priorities. He is clear about bts, music and army. He never hesitates when it comes to these three things.

Bang PD called him the adult child when he was 19. He left home at 15. Earned money, went to school, sold music, made minimal money and lived by himself with only his brother supporting him in a city where people didn't even understand his dialect. Especially to children. He stayed back with jk during Christmas. Opened a cafe with his hyung in jeju and personalised it himself. Made a parenting diary for his puppy. His love runs deep for everything that is why it's seldom seen.
If he was not Asian he would already be one of biggest scenes in rapping. Let's support him army. I used his songs to stop making stupid decisions and I repay it by supporting him and the boys.

Loss of appetite. suga was escorted with a ruptured appendix. there is no way you are conscious after that happens. also he already had CPS. in a lot of ways its like labor pain. the pain doesn't increase it keeps worsening in every minute. dizziness and nausea are the signs of rupture.

I became an Army because of Suga. His lyrics and songs are relatable. Everytime I struggle with my studies and feel like giving up, I listen to his songs as an inspiration and a reminder of my goals.
Real story...
I saw him live when I was 12 he was performing in daegu at naksyeon, he must have been 15. Since then every moment in my life starting from my parents divorce to me getting help has been because of his music. When he became an idol I was a little bitter cause I thought that he would not be able to speak the truth anymore. I was about to do something really stupid that's when I heard hip hop phile and his verse made me stop. Then every time I thought of reasons to not live anymore. His music kept me going. I need you, dead leaves, the last, nevermind, so far away, tear(I knew that he produced it without even looking at the credit).

I'm scared to meet him in person, cause behind the screen he a venerated person I achieve to become like. In person I might realise that he's still the same 15 year old boy I saw. Still intemidating and standing on his own before people twice his size.

Suga said that after Dark and Wild's release, it was the first time he realized that hard work doesn't guarentee success. He's truly such an inspiring person. Yoongi is the strongest person I have ever seen. He went through depression, stress, social anxiety. His parents didn't supported him. He had no financial support. He belonged to a poor family. He is such a hard worker. He writes 1 song per day. About 200 to 300 songs per year. He even worked as a delivery boy to earn money for his career and education. And he wasn't adult even (not even 18) and he started working as a delivery boy. One day he met an accident while he was delivering, his shoulder was permanently damaged and since years he had that shoulder injury but didn't talked about it thinking he might be kicked out of BTS. He had that shoulder pain and injury since 6 to 7 years and finally he had a surgery related to that in 2020

And there are people who think that suga is so lazy, sleepy all day.
It's normal for a person to not show reactions on face, who went through severe depression for years. And there a people who think that suga is cold hearted, emotion less person. Like tf. He cares for his loved ones a lot but he doesn't shows it. The prettiest smile hides a lot of pain.

Yoongi is the -idol- *hero* for those of us who suffer from depression, anxiety, and/or persecution. When I first got into BTS, I my favorite members were the handsomest ones - and don't get me wrong; I do still love them. But as soon as I learned Yoongi's story, he took first place in my heart (sorry, but I don't feel right about using the word "bias" in this context). I relate to his struggles so very, *very* much. I know why he needs so much alone time, why he's so famous for loving sleep, and why he's so very supportive of the other members. Just knowing Yoongi's out there, succeeding, gives me hope; and his bravery in discussing even the most controversial topics inspires me to speak out more myself. We're lucky to have him.

I feel like Yoongi becoming and idol was honestly smart on his part because he set the bar for more creative freedom and honesty being in the genre. He crack the code as far as him breaking the stereo type of hip hop and now he can actually use the system to display his talents more and do what he was destined to do which is produce and write songs. I feel like the other rappers didn’t catch that. Everyone in kpop to me personally started to all look the same and do the same styles of songs and even now new bands have this thing were they look very cookie cutter and not original. And this is how I noticed BTS they were so different from other bands they all proved to be really genuine. And I could tell that they are good people without trying to fit the standards of what is standard in Korean pop culture. Now Suga can do the music he has always wanted to do. Not that he envisioned that was gonna happen this way but because he decided to debut as an idol he opened up doors for his ultimate dream to come true. He can also use his platform to talk about his struggles and relate to others which is a gift to all of us!!! I think the other guys put hip hop in a box instead of looking at other possibilities. I hope what I said makes since lol!! I also LOVE and appreciate how he is very open and honest about his life and his struggles it makes me love him so more every time I see him!!
I wouldn’t say it sets the bar for creative freedom because it really doesn’t because if he was really going to put himself out there as in being tempted into signing with one of the bigger companies he would be extremely limited in creativity but I totally understand your comment and admire suga work ethic and him working through his hardships
What was very smart was that he on another route joining bts . That takes guts and faith. He is still able to produce music. With the success of bts now he fully works on his music also. Its brilliant how it played out.

Suga may not be considered handsome in his society's standards but it is ultimately his beautiful soul that draws me in. In my early days of being an ARMY, I had V as a bias, but these days I appreciate all of them and now acknowledge Suga's talent, perserverance and charm.
Many may not see it because he usually stays in the sidelines but once you notice Min Yoongi, you get to see what a wonderful person he is. He might be dubbed a tsundere but that is because the emotions he fails to express all bleed into his music and that is why it resonates to a lot of people.

We're really saying the same thing here, just phrased differently. His 'dream' drove him to a number of things prior to BTS. What may have been worse than being hit was no support. He did what he had to do FIRST in order to chase his dreams of being a producer long before BTS, my friend.
Edit: His life changed because he didn't give up.
He also slept on the sofas of at least a couple of his high school teachers after being kicked out of his own home on multiple occasions. These teachers have spoken about making sure he had a place to go so that he did not drop out of high school. His childhood struggles always bring me to tears. As for his future years, I will be so happy for him when he finds his “person”. He has so much love in his heart to share. Whoever he chooses to be with will literally be the luckiest person in the world and they better treat him with respect and kindness or they’ll have to answer to ARMYS and ME! LHSM! ❤

This is a perfect example of sheer inner core strength. There will always be someone to try and tell you that you can’t achieve something that you love. Suga knew in his heart where he belonged, and was willing to persevere through all the trials and hardships to follow what he thought was his true calling. Most people would have given up. My admiration for his determination has no bounds. I believe that one reason BTS is so successful, is because all seven members appear to take care of, and back up each other. Egos and jealousy have to be left at the door, because they’re all in this together. They have to communicate and not harbor any resentments toward each other. I think this is what they do, and why they’re so successful, plus they are each enormously talented. I just think BTS is a phenomenal group.

Suga has always been one of my favorites of BTS. He is intelligent, thoughtful, caring, and quietly exudes the quality of love. He is humble in all things and supremely talented. Many questioned his thoughts about being a rock in his next life but I understand it completely. It is that type of mindset that makes him one of my favorites.

fam, more than half of them are full grown men.
They are all grown men in their early to late 20s. Not children physically but still kids somewhat mentally because they were together in the dorm for 7 years and schooled each other. They created their own world of values, ethics, behavior and love for each other. What is truly amazing is their maturity considering they had no family or constant older role models to influence them. They have all turned out to be exceedingly fine people with compassion, kindness, generosity and wisdom. These are not goofy stupid teenagers. Watch the hundreds of videos on YT and see the many things they have done for the world. They are all giving back, not just to Army but to everyone. I was feeling really bad for Suga but when the video got to 23:11, I lost it. Meat to orphanages and money to pediatric cancer. It is the poor and abused and depressed who are the most thankful for their success and Suga proves that. I think if I knew all the charitable stuff he did, I wouldn't stop crying until tomorrow. These boys should be the role models of everyone in the world. They are so much more than a mere pop band. The work that Army does helping people around the world is just so unusual in the music and film industry. No other group has ever championed such a great cause and followed though with their own contributions. Seeing Suga making the fan gifts so carefully on his birthday when he could have had someone else do it gave me huge respect for him. He'll struggle for the rest of his life but I hope he can hold it together and continue to be an inspiration to BTS fans everywhere. It is so satisfying to see this brave sad boy get what he dreamed of. He is a troubled soul. Look at his pictures in the video. Those sad eyes and hardly ever smiling. Breaks your heart. Great video. Haven't you noticed that all true artists (musicians, composers, painters, writers, poets etc) have the the bane of having psychological issues (personality disorders)? Many of them fall in the spectrum of autism. They have a dark side to their nature. A mental health professional can help them understand this and help them to be able to function but I believe that dark side is where creativity resides, where depth is developed... A wholesome environment can help them through this dark moments. Composing songs is very cathartic, therapeutic specially since Suga is able to open himself up and talk about it. It is great he has his 6 brothers to support him and each other. Love and acceptance for who we are is very important and this he has with his 6 other brothers. They have one another to help them go through these difficult moments as they are still young and having the pangs of growing up. Army too is a great presence in their journey. It's a reciprocal relationship.
Min Yoongi first attracted my attention when I saw a clip of his early days struggling to be producer/rapper. Coming from a poor background, he pulled himself out of poverty to what he is today and I really admire and applaud him for that. I hope that he continue to think better days ahead of him and continue to write songs for his own good. May he always be in good health, body and mind.
When I was first getting curious about bts, Yoongi immediately stood out to me and every single day, my respect and love for him grows. I love all the members so much... but yoongi will always be my bias. He's so wise and thoughtful and caring. His existence gives me so much inspiration and motivation because of everything hes gone through to achieve his dreams and how far hes come. I think hes such an amazing person and role model, and I look up to him do much. I appreciate everything he does and his extremly humble nature. He's not perfect, but he also doesn't try to be. His tenacity is his strongest trait, he endured all the hardships ("If you ever feel like you're going to crash, then accelerate more") he had experienced to achieve his dreams and goals in life ("I'm the guy that will carve history on the ground"). They were trampled and criticized ("Look at me like that, it's my hobby to prove you wrong") but BTS, especially Yoongi accepts these as challenges to improve their craft and to show those trolls that they have the talent and attitude to conquer the world (""...though your beginning might be humble, may the end be prosperous") and ddaeng conquer they did! His openness in talking about his depression ("Every man dies, but not every man lives") and social anxiety ("Anxiety and loneliness stay forever and how you choose to make peace with them, that needs a lifetime consideration") in interviews and in his songs is his way for others to reach out to supports each other ("People who have the platform to talk about these problems should talk more. I like that he talks about his depression and struggles. I went through some hell when I was younger and it wasn't easy. I didn't talk about it for a very long time. When I finally did, it felt like a huge weight was lifted from my shoulders. It does help to talk about it.

I’ve been putting off this video because I knew what to expect and I knew it would bring me to tears. Whenever someone asks me why I love BTS and Yoongi so much, it genuinely feels like I would never shut up if I tried to explain the reasons. BTS and Yoongi (he’s my bias) have just brought so much happiness, so much understanding, and so much self-growth that I haven’t seen in 20 years of living. They’ve given me the strength to power through my days, even when they seem bleak. While yes, I love Yoongi for his handsome face and gummy smile, he means so much more to me than that. He has given me hope and strength to chase after my dreams. He’s given me so much more reasons to love myself a little bit more, to love others a little bit more. Min Yoongi is so sweet, so precious, so hard working, so motivated, so genuine, and so intelligent. Which is why it pisses me off whenever someone calls him “lazy” or “cold.” I’ll end this here before I write an entire essay, omg.
Smiles to you. For the record, Yoongi once called himself a 'lazy bum' jokingly in an interview with one of the members. When I saw that, it made me wonder had any of the members ever called him that. If so, I don't think they really knew who or what they had amongst them. Though, I'm sure (by now) they do. He's hard working and private. His mind is on another level from what the company expects of him/them.

When Yoongi won the Hot Trend Award, I actually was not an Army back then. I still listened to his speech and respected him but I never knew his background, BTS, and I never really knew who he was. I became an Army this year and it was one of the best decisions I have ever made. I started listening to recent BTS songs and then got into when they first debuted. Yoongi’s rapping has always interested me. Not only that he raps fast, but the meaning behind the lyrics. He tells his life struggles and accomplishments that other people could be going through. His songs provide comfort in those in a hard time or in need of love. Before I used to only pay attention to his fast rapping, but then I started paying attention to the lyrics. His lyrics have very strong meanings that may be hard for him to talk about.Yoongi is in fact, my favorite rapper.

My favorite Agust D & Suga songs are the low key - Seesaw, So Far Away, Suga Interlude. I don't really like rap but the way Suga does it is different and I like listening to it even when I don't know the language, it's just powerful and beautiful .I like his attitude of talking out loud about depression. I think most people (as myself) want to help our friends and give support but don't know how. We can help a friend with a cold but how do help when they tell us they have depression - except ask? But sometimes the person doesn't know what they need. I think this is why people shy away or are uncomfortable - not that we don't care, we juts don't know how. I had it in the past and know how it feels, but I worked thru it, discovered who I am and not trying to be someone else and now I'm happy every day. Not everyone can do that, some need medication or professional assistance, but not always. I hope Yoongi/Suga/Agust D continues his dream & never stops making beautiful, wonderful music for all of us in the world to enjoy! : D 3>

I'm so proud of him, that he never gave up his biggest dream and continues fighting against the dark beast named depression that sits deep in his soul waiting to come back again (i have depression too and i clearly know what i'm talking about)
And i'm proud to be an ARMY, to be a part of this wonderful, amazing and inspiring family 💜
