Amazing, as a child a teenager i used to go swimming in these waters. To aviod stingers we simply didn't go swimming when the wind was comming from the north. No problems, never stung. Had to watch the sun burn.
Hey Laura, now that you have done The Great Barrier Reef, the Blue Mountains too, will you be in Australia to see Australia's New years eve fireworks ?(specifically Sydney's fireworks) you won't regret it!!
Here’s a little something to help you identify things as you travel Ladies. I saw you had an iPhone,if you do, take a photo of something like the fruit you were asking about, go into your camera roll and if the information button at the bottom of the screen has a little star on it, tap it and it will say ‘look up fruit’ (in this example),and show you what type of fruit it is. It works on food, animals and so much more! Glad you had such a wonderful stay on Fitzroy Island! 💫❤️💫🇦🇺✌🏻
Hi I'm a North Queenslander, but I have been out to the Reef since the early 80's, the coral looked like it was all bleached (no colour) in that area. Did the Tour Guide say anything about it ? I remember seeing coral in every colour imaginable. Just a little advice for your future trips North when swimming in areas the are isolated, as I'm sure you know Shark hunting time is early morning & early evening, they are around all day, but those are predominately their feeding times. So while it's great swimming with Turtles, they are one of Sharks favourite food, the Turtles like the Jellyfish and so on down the chain. Asides from that, It looks like you both had a great relaxed time.
Lovely video and thank you !
this is good video. thank you my friend. see you in BALI
