This makes me think of the first Coffee Break test in Gran Turismo 4
Jordan Fleming yes!!!!!! lol
Some Guy i got gold lol
Some Guy I did it like a literally 100 times, if you watch the demo, and do exactly what the demo does you will get it, the demo always gets a gold on every driving test ... And if you click both analogs It shows the throttle pattern display

Forget the car…I’m completely impressed by the road sweeping tool and technique of your sidekick. Pure tenacity.
I have always loved these...too bad they never came to the states. It looks so...happy 😃
So brilliant that Daihatsu brought the Copen back recently.
I appreciate Mike sweeping the road clean.
I don't get it. That's what the city does.
@@Jflux69 very normal in japan as many citizens take it as part of their duty to keep the land tidy. there may be cleaning service in both japan and the us, but think everyone will agree japan is much, much cleaner.. nearly every single person will walk by trash and not pick it up in the states.
Start up a collection to get Mike a proper broom?
12:51 That redline! Amazing!
Is Mike sweeping with a snow brush? give the man a proper broom!
OOOOOHHHHHH YYYEEEEEAAAAAAHHHH
These were sold new here in New Zealand. Brilliant mini cars. Such fun
BTW not sure if anyone else mentioned this but at 7:57 look to the top you can see thr bag for the cover piece that snaps on to the area with the gap after you drop the top. Saw another YT page (LugNutz) that showed the cover then i rewatched your vid a couple of times to see if i could see it in the trunk. More JDM sweeping please!!!
The copen solid here in many European countries including the Netherlands. They do have a different rear bumper though, but I've spotted one with the Japanese bumper in my hometown. It's still a LHD though, so not a JDM import. Really nice cars to see and they aren't that weird and quirky around here with all these small cars on our roads
Oh you're here too! Haha, I actually have a Copen too! If the weather is nice when we will meet for the 86 I will maybe take the Copen with me :D
Great car
Reminiscent of the old 356 "bath tub" Porsche or the first generation Audi TT with the front and rear resemblance to each other. You can see Toyota SC300 styling cues too. Like the early Ferrari-like shift lever. (back when you actually had to drive that car).
Cool little car.
Reminds me a Gran Turismo 4 game ahh..... such memories
Also, I don't know if you noticed but, in the boot at the very back is a bag that contains a cover for that gap when the roof is down. (that cover was an optional extra btw and I think I saw the copen in your video has it)
The oil dip stick is right next to the intercooler pipe. It's small and black on the left hand side of it.
I’ve always loved these funky little cars
Well, there is a cover for it, it is in the trunk against the back wall in a bag..
saw this car today and absolutely fell in love ♡ hard to choose between this and s660 though
Great car, drove one for five years. A lot of fun tot drive.
First car I owned after passing my test. Loved it until a spark plug cracked and fell in the engine. Have a mx5 now but even so, I like to think that one day I may own another. Perhaps one of the modern copen cero versions. Have to say though, a manual edition is what you want, an automatic one takes away half of the fun . The copen also has the hardest suspension of any car I’ve driven, even vs a number of expensive sports cars
What it was like to drive?
And what kind of reactions did it spark from people?
@Nickoboss it was great fun to drive due to being so low to the ground. .only reactions were from kids who would point it out to their parents with looks of joy. Not really a car for posers
Awesome car thanks
I've used the same kind of cupholder in my CRX and Infiniti G20 (Nissan P10). Got it from a boating supply store for $5. AFI, Inc. product number 20061.
I think EBD stands for Electronic Brake Distribution
I believe so yes.
Electric Brakeforce Distribution yes you're correct
When I was looking for a small car I did consider this as I have seen a lot around but just could not get over the soft girly looks, the Nissan cube is as soft as I will go.
14:18 the hardtop closing sounded like a car shifting itself lol
We got these in the UK 🙂 great video
Didn't we get 660cc and a 800cc?
@@ffab101p121 Europe got a 659cc from 2003 to 2006 and a 1.3l from 2007 to 2009
I almost had this car when I lived in Japan, but at the last minute I choose the Honda S-MX, another amazing car.
By the way, your voice reminds a lot Simon Lazenby, the Sky F1 narrator, very nice!
God I've always wanted one of these
10:46 I assume this car is long sold lol but the cover is chilling right there in the boot earlier in the footage :)
You mention that this vehicle was destined for Canada. Any idea what DOT approved tires they ended up getting? I understand that this was quite a while ago but I would love one of these for the Vancouver area
Kinda looks like a VW Beetle and a Cappuccino had a love child lol
Beautifully example of the copen. UK spec cars came with bigger factory fit wheels.
Previously owned 1.3 copen
If you ever sell another Copen never slam the trunk down it's not good for it :) you just need to put it down with your hands and then press on the spoiler and it will close, it's a soft close system
Very beautiful exemplary ! But very very low options on it, no momo steering wheel, no heated seats, no radio...
And the leather bag that was in the trunk is actually a "tonneau cover" that you put on the big hole that you don't like when the top is down :D
You need to put it with the trunk open
Very strange looking. Not sure which is the front and which is the rear. Looks really slick with the roof down.
It’s like a miniature Audi TT. Nice👍🏼👍🏼
it kinda reminds me of a 350Z convertible, Specially with the top down
i love this car,,,
What car was the yellow one? A Nissan cube?? If so doesn't look like one at all 😅
So cool wow 😍
Cute little car! O never will fit in one of those 😂
Mikes going to hurt his back. Please get him a broom. He seems like a cool dude! Otherwise good video as always
Really reminds me of the prht NC miata
i can't find a price for Canada online
The color car remind me coffee break
is that a Nissan Primera P12
in your parking lot ?
It looks dope
heroin is my favorite, whats yours?
@@gregh7457dafuq?
I can't find where is the engine number of Daihatsu Copen couple
Nice 😀
COFFEE BREAK!!! *runs over cones irl* *arrested* *copen impounded*
Oh yeah!
I WILL OWN ONE OF THESE ONCE THEY'RE LEGAL IN THE US. ♥️
Imagine fire spitting outta those pipes. 😍😂
What dose this car rev to?
He’s saying that the convertible latches are so easy there the same as the ones on a Miata. GOT EM MIATA IS ALWAYS THE ANSWER
I wonder if a K20 fits in it, hmm
Reminds me of a Miata/MR2 Spyder blend
I agree with you. The current Copenhagen is not as attractive
I am six foot two inches tall. Sadly I don't fit in the Copen, otherwise I would have bought it
Sweet deal🔥🔥👍👍👍🦶🦶🦶🦶🦶
COFFEE BREAK 1
*FAIL*
(RETRY)
(EXIT)
I want one
15,000 wow lol thats crazy
How much brother ?
Full Beans !
Very populyar in Europe
Those climate control knobs are like the same ones as in my 2006 Scion xB lmfao
There is a cover in the boot people
It's like a tiny sc430
Export Market. USA is an Export Market 😂
Fun, too bad the US is more restricted than Canada.
Looks like a micro Lexus
Cheap tires??? Good luck finding that size in Canada. Plan ahead when you need tires for a kei... Trust me.
165 14's are hard to find now?
@@gregh7457 I had 14s on a Miata and it was hard to do a walk-in and find tires, it was also hard for those stores online inventory. I have 15s on the Miata now and there's still some challenges. I think 16s became the small size now.
I have a Beat (13" front, 14" rear) and it needed tires last summer. 13" tires in North America did not seem to be available. I managed to find a weird 175/50/14 khumo tire and went with those. Other 14" sizes were hard to come by.
Подарите мне мою МЕЧТУ. Daihatsu Copen🥰
Rear spoiler looks ridiculous and spoils the lines
I think it looks sporty
fake, you didn't hit a cone
please buy a real broom! what is that for! ants!
Not made for big Americans
Ugly car
