This blessed me. Seeing “Sauce” still out there is so dope. Brought back so many memories. These kids today don’t know just how influential he & the AND1 movement was to the game of basketball. Early 2000 was everything..
Real shit. We had no UA-cam until 05' or high-end CGI physics like they have in NBA 2K now. All we had was VHS if we bought the shoes or caught it on reruns on ESPN or if they showed up in your city. I swear all these kids now can just load up their 2K character, even if they can't pay for a unlocked move and let it play on loop, go in their driveway and practice it. Nothing but love for these new hoopers but man 2000's was something else.
Glad these youngins can see where all the moves came from. This culture and era of basketball will be forever missed. I had the VHS tapes back in the day we practiced all the moves from NBA and AND 1. Much love glad he still in good shape. Out there cooking
@DoMo LoMo To be honest them moves come from every hood across America that was balling back then. We did all them same moves in back home in DC. Stiff leg, the step backs, off the head off the knee shamgods of course etc and wet jumper to top it off. DC ninjas certified shooters look up the Kenner Leauge and Team Durant we produced a couple stars. Helped with Shareef Cooper class AOT AAU team as well. I'm still killing the youngins with just a mid range do to no defense being played nowadays. I got some old heads at LA 50 plus deadly jumpers they don't even like playing us. I really help the youth develop their game I talk shit just to get them warmed up.
Glad to see him still hooping! AND 1 was so legendary in the early 2000’s. Had many memories with the homies all gathered up watching the mixtape tours.
A lot of things has changed over the years, I'm glad Hot Sauce cookin people isn't one of them. I'm grown now and watching this made me feel like a kid again. This felt like watching And 1 for the first time. Almost brought a tear to my eye. 🔥🔥🏀🔥🔥
watching ball in the 90's ,2000's and in the current era, street ball, organized or whatever, sauces fundamentals if you see the way he dribbles are still so superb, its what allowed him to venture off in a loose style that opened doors to off the wall style. guys like him, silk, jamal Crawford, kyrie, the pharmacist, etc. so many ballers with that handle have to have the fundamentals down In order to even explore other avenues of style ,props to the all mighty Sauce, glad the new gen can connect with the older generation to help develop more and more🦾
The word LEGEND often gets misused, overused, or just doesn't apply when talking about some folks. Not in this case. Sauce is a legend. I am so glad that I got to see him play in person back in the mid 2000s and he still cooking with The Sauce to this day.
