If the music alone doesn't bring a tear, you are made of stone.
I have never before seen such a movement in Nutcracker as the one at 1:41, where the female dancer gets tossed over to another male dancer
Finally, the right moves for this genius piece of music. Perfection. Thank you so much.
Isnt this music, the dreamiest ever
Shakirova is an elegant dancer with so much intent. Her expressions are perfect. Her bourres so small, close together--astounding. Amazing all around!!!
But the choreography sucks
She is fabulous, delicate .strong, feminine and elegant, but when they threw her to the othe guy, wow I dint expect that
@@anetanikolaeva1287 but so much better than the grigorovich choreography
@@pedinurse1 the male dancer almost dropped her at 1:42, she is very expressive and beautiful but he doesn't help her !
@@anetanikolaeva1287 I like the version of Baryshnikov and Gelsey Kirkland in an old TV show, she is something else ...

Who did the choreo !!!!! OH MY GOODNESS. The most prestigious PDD in all of ballet, now with stunning choreo
I love how she dances with so much joy in her smile
It's like they're bragging about how they have so many talented dancers they don't know what to do with them anymore so they'll just throw them randomly on some number and hope it'll work out. 😂
I sincerely hope Zaleyev would recover completely.
Thank you!

I really like this version of the ballet from the Mariinsky Theater, it is beautiful, magnificent, it has the most beautiful costumes, I am simply a romantic person.
My fav performance of pas de deux so far. But why there are 4 additional male? It called dances for two for a reason...
Yves__:''p
Pas de Deux '' renata and david splendid. Thanks for this spectacle.
Exquisitely beautiful.
Ah, the famous Sugarplum Pas de Six! Really cool take on it, and immaculately danced of course!
Is the most beautiful representation of Sugar Plum Fairy i saw ♥️♥️♥️
So beautiful! Shakirova is wonderful!
Masterpiece! Bravo! Terrific! It's unmatched! Thanks!
Her dance is like a poem!
A delightful, elegant and inspiring couple!
Renata is an excellent dancer working hard for a brilliant future, however, she appears on the stage less than that in 2018. Would like to see her on the stage frequently in 2019.
So very elegant nd beautiful!
WOW such great choreo, perfectly executed, wow wow wow
The four bailarin give one noble tour and somptuous side à ce pas de deux!!!!
Simplemente maravilloso..¡¡¡
Interesting interpretation. It’s called pas de deux for a reason.
Sublime melodia!
Why did they feel the need to cross the Sugarplum Pas with the Rose Adagio? The four extra guys have no reason to be there.
I think they tried to build up the choreography to match the dramatic music. The climaxes are massive. In the traditional pas de deux there's just the two of them alone doing some staid supported turns and jumps "climaxing" into some rather pedestrian lifts with her sitting on his shoulder. Done right it's regal but it do not match the music in my opinion. I don't like this much better but at least they tried to punch it up a little.
@Miguel Sanchez It's certainly done well, it's just not the normal way to do it at all.
Omg thank you. Yeah what is that? And why was the one cavalier tossing her back and forth?
Hello! I was thinking the same!!! it looks like first act of Sleeping Beauty!
Thank you!
Renata zakirova - Splended dancing as your pirouettes are spellbinding for sure! The precision appears as though you practiced in training with a gyroscope! I'm must ask you how long have you been with the kariisky company? A extremely broad ocean of congratulations would not be near enough! Thanks a million for the most beautiful ballet from St. Petersburg! Peter.
Renata has been with the company for 2 seasons, she joined in September of 2015 and is already a second soloist!
Balletomane - A big thanks for the information! God Bless you and the Kariinsky!
Fabulus , good show, the lifts impressive!!!
superb!
Renata is queen 👑
Shakirova is breathtaking!!!
splendid spectacle
Que show lindo👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏❤
They are very good and I do like this version because it add more festivity feel to the music
and story as well. Never mind if it reminds sleeping beauty or not since most every ballet
is like one another anyways.
However I like May Nagahisa and Vladimir Shakyirov (?) presentation much better for its
precision and clean lines. And that include 4 extra cavaliers as well.
I liked this version cuz it was different. Thx&see ya😀
All the ballet prince are helping the ballet fairy out in the Nutcracker performance and the ballet prince in the white he's the main one to help this ballet fairy in the performance in the first place.
It's supposed to be a pas de deux, not a pas de six.
lovely

vsegda, vsegda, kok velikolenyy, kogda shou vo Frantsii
bravo Rénata i David (2018)
No Nutcracker this year due to Covid-19......so missing my Christmas present.....these extracts are gorgeous though and are so sublime.
i cant help but think of cheerleading at 4:16 LOL lovely technique but the 4 other dudes were soo unnecessary
It is about five brothers and a sister (Tchaikovsky family). Grand Pas de Deux is dedicated to his sister Alexandra (Sasha) who died when Peter was composing Nutcracker (actually Nutcracker is totally dedicated to Alexandra) and originally it was not intended to be ballet. It is a VERY SAD Grand Pas de Deux (Peter said goodbye to his sister). Peter was broken and he dedicated this part to his sister Alexandra (Sasha). They were very close...
love their partnership
❤❤❤❤❤❤

Are there any vídeos of Renata at School?
Joana Amoroso Yes, there is one documentary
Violetalin2004 Granger which one?
Little ballerinas ( Eng Subs)
How is David Zaleyev doing?
5:40 he just yeets her
What's the music called?
The title is exactly how it's called - Grand Pas de Deux from Nutcracker. This is music written specifically for the ballet, there is no other title.
This is an amazing performance! Where can I find the full version of this performance? I tried so many DVD's and music channels, but couldn't find the full version.
Eh. The technique was astounding but idk I’ve seen a lot of variations of this finale pas de deux all very different but this one isn’t touching me like most.
Why I see Nutcracker and I remember Kubrik's Barry Lindon?
5:41
My heart went ⬇️!
I really don't like this version, but they're good dancers
Ana Cruz agree
I agree

exactly
I am somewhat new to classical ballet. Is it the custom to applaud every time the principal dancers execute a fancy or complicated move, or is that type of interrupting applause only a European custom? The same question applies to the principal dancers bowing to the audience after their performance instead of continuing to go on with the ballet. I am more familiar with opera where, if the singer gets applause after a beautiful aria, the singer stays in character until the applause stops and then the opera just continues.
Ms. Susan, that’s an interesting question. I have never thought about them before! I think that is the way of ballet.
Molto bene.Perché la guerra ???

Pas de deux? Looks more like pas de cinq to me!
It was beautiful ❤️ but all the extra guys made the dance seem less romantic in my opinion.
These are some of the best dancers I've ever seen and I agree with you.
It's meant to be for two ballet dancers only, learn French
This version is basically the Sugar Plum Fairy and her Harem
Strange, is he unable to pick her up?

1:40 Whoa did you see that, they made her jump over them like a cow jumped over the moon. 😲🐄🌛
That was unbelievable!!!
Beautiful but cannot compare to the 1968 version with Rudolph Nureyev and Merle Park.
No no.....
Seems too technical and insufficiently lyrical.
I hate this version!
Hi, well, Mr. Brunno, which is your best one? I love the Royal Ballet’ one the most.*\(^o^)/*
why?
@@conniesanhueza8379 Because it's not a "pas de deus" and it's not what Marius Petipa choreographed.
