This message came right on time. I feel God has been trying to tell me to stop idolizing social media and spend more time with Him. The first thing I do when I wake up in the morning is check my phone and I usually fall asleep with it in my hands. I'm committing to replacing that time with praise and prayer, because I want so badly to be closer to my Father. I'm so thankful He used you to lay it out plan and clear for me.
Kim Nacole I have that same issue. Its like an addiction. I would be bored and just get on social media. To help with this, I put a time limit on my social media apps. Once this limit is over with for the day, the apps dim and I’m not able to access them. Now, instead of getting on social media when I’m bored, I open the Bible app or I pray.

Human nature tells you to grab a blanket when your cold, you see it in the animal world where they seek warmth from the sun. I don't believe in any Gods, but I know when I'm cold or Hot, how is that possible in your world?

This faith walk is not and will not ever be easy, but have a made up mind that no matter what you will serve the Lord. Serve him wholeheartedly surrender it all to him. t's true. You can get to a point in your life and start to hear him. I grew up believing God does not exist. I had an Atheist background and family until I had some strange things happen to our home. Needless to say It was so strange I reached out to Christians to help. That's how bad it got around our house. There was no logical explanations for the events that occurred in that house. I had the house blessed, it worked, I accepted Christ in my life. That was 15 years ago. Now I actually hear my name called during my in between stages of sleep. I don't hear it all the time, just once and awhile. If you were to tell me 15 years ago that God can call you by name I would had said you're are crazy!

Wow! I literally woke up out of my sleep last night and heard the voice of God. I asked Him if it was Him and He told me my questioning is why I NEED to know His voice. Today, I was going to go to sleep, but He led me to this video about knowing His voice. Everything I needed.

WoW! Currently struggling with this! I've been praying in my car on the way to work and as a family with my husband and sons before bed but I know I'm missing out on my own personal time with our Redeemer. Just a month or two ago I was committing personal time to God....worshipping, praying and journaling. Asking Him for Rhema verses and having communion...just Him and I. Praise our God for leading Heather to make this video. Thank you sis for your obedience to our Lord Jesus! I needed this guidance, it was literally an answer to prayer this morning coming into work.

the first 10 minutes into this video i felt the holy spirit so strong and started to cry this woman really just changed my life. lately i've been going to worship and church so numb and emotionless not understanding why my heart has been so numb and not able to connect while i'm trying so hard but watching this video just hit me so hard I trust you God through everything and in my last and my first. i no longer walk by what i see but by my faith and trust in you and my obedience to everything you instruct me to do Father God.

Thank God, for this message. Spending time with God and the Bible is the key. There is no way around it. We spend time with Him because we need HIM, His peace, His mercy, His Love and ofcourse His blessed GUIDANCE! Too many of us running on E and need His Word. We think we're doing Him a favor, but its us who needs Him.
I get those gut feelings. More now then ever. Some I ignore, but later on I know I should have listened. I ignore because of my anxiety, but God is helping me to overcome it.

I agree wholeheartedly on what you said about distractions and boredom, at times I let everything else overcome the times I should spend time with Him. I hear His voice a lot, then times I'm confused if it is Him talking or Satan trying to deceive because I let those distractions take place instead of worship. Thank you for this wonderful video! Truly needed this. I've been putting off watching your videos because I keep saying i don't have time. Something told me to cancel out my Netflix and make time. I did and God truly spoke through you to me. I have been worrying so much about school. School was literally becoming my idol. And I haven't been trusting in God when it came to school. powerful word and a confirmation. I graduated from college today and I really need to buckle down and seek him for my next steps and my future...I'm excited yet kinda scared for this new journey but need to be able to hear Him in this season. school is no longer an excuse anymore..
The Lord today really talked to me through this video. It's amazing how he makes us come to him again. I remember some months ago being so exited, praising him, he was everything for me, my guide cause i had a really hard times when sin and worries for my health took my life. I just came to his arms, but these days i was so far like i didn't know what was happening. Those clearly feelings just flew away, i love him so smooch but i was hurting myself cause i was failing again, my prayer was so weak...And while i was thinking about this and asking him to help me, he just showed me this video in the recommendation videos of my account. So i was here having breakfast listening speaking him through your words,and it made me cry so much cause i realized how much he loves me, how much he wants to be with me and guide me in my life. Thank you so so much for this video, i'll be watching the other, but know i feel like i need to go to that room close my door, and talk to him,read his word with all my heart. Thank you for reaffirming that I have been dwindling away from the lord. I came to God because of the way I was handling relationships. And I made a vow to God to reset my mind and value God with my body. In that time I learned to love myself, that I am not my horrors/struggles and that I am Gods child.
I was recently tested with an old friend and the minute I decided not to spend time with him because of the temptations something inside me felt secure. I started going back to the basics on listening to messages and sermons to keep my mind set on God’s message. And most important I started having feelings in my spirit of the Lord reaching out to me through the videos I was listening to again.
So I want to thank God and you for this video. May God bless you, your ministry and your family.

wow!!this is so amazing.A lot of friends nd family told me to not walk the path of faith but to stabilise myself financially nd then get on with the Lord but i chose otherwise and walked with nd in faith, yes financially im struggling and at this point when im writing to you i have no money to pay my rent or to take care of my child but one thing i have is confidence in Him and i believe He will show me directions to a stable life.I can use short cuts but i choose not to because i love nd respect my relationship with Him,He has given me His strength and wisdom to hold my head high nd to lean on His understanding nd not mine.Thank yoy Lord

this week Ive replacing God with my studies. i made so many terrible mistakes because i ignored his voice. thank you so much for this
First of all let me start with saying how grateful I am I found your channel, I put this video in my watch later a few days ago and glad I remembered to go through them. -----------------Some quick background information; I've been planning to stay at my girlfriends house this week and im going on holiday to Kenya on Monday for a month so I've needed to go back home, 50 miles away to my doctor to get vaccination but I've been putting it off. ------------------So many things touched me from this video but the relevant one was looking at the bible my mum gave me years ago, the only one I have which has that index in the back which directs you to relevant scripture. After listening to the rest of the video I got such a yearning in my heart to quickly stop everything I'm doing and just have quiet time with the Lord. What I felt I was told is to go back home, receive my immunisation and look for that specific bible so all my future quiet times with the Lord I can have something physical to use instead of using the app on my phone because I feel like that would lead me to being distracted. -----------------
Anyways after I done all that I was planning to drive back to my girlfriends and spend as much time with her as I could before my month vacation. As I pulled into the motorway, someone cut me up and I had to swerve to avoid hitting them which made me puncture one of my tyres, luckily I was able to get the spare tyre set up but because I didn't really have the money to go to a garage and get a new tyre I decided to just stay in the area and decide what's the best thing to do. -----------------
At this point I was incredibly confused because I felt like I was doing the right thing yet this happened to me and I didn't have the money to fix it and carry on, as I was driving back I still had that yearning in my heart to get that bible so I suddenly remembered a church I went to in the area I thought I can go there and buy a bible with that index in the back. -----------------
When I rang them to find out if they're open today I found out there's a prayer meeting happening later tonight, I only asked them if I'm able to buy a bible and they said come along to the meeting and I will provide you with one. -----------------
Let me just make it clear I'm not blaming you for the things that happened to me, a long time ago a message from a pastor stuck with me that the Lord works in mysterious ways, this might have been his plan the whole time because I never would have thought about that church again if it wasn't because of this situation (I'm usually at my own place on the weekends so I go to my local church) -----------------
So anyways I know it's a long message but I believe everything happened today for a reason guided by the Holy Spirit, from me seeing your video at the time I did to me going to that church later on tonight, I'm even grateful to the Lord that the only thing that happened was just a punctured tyre and not anything more sinister. -----------------
I'm not sure what the outcome of all this will be but I will edit this comment when I'm back home.

Ever since my husband pass away in 2016, I was basitize 2017 at the beginning of the yr. I started reading the holy bible more, my lifestyle has changed, someone else came in to my life now, and God just have me on this path of my life, he is every step of the way with me, sometimes I hear his voice, im walking with Faith.

I thank God for your life. I was just talking to God in my car today asking Him how He was and saying how much I missed spending time with Him and how I need His help to make him my best friend again. I also told God that I need His help to help me be hungry and stay hungry for Him and His Will for my life. I can be so stubborn and selfish with my time. My faith in God is still there but I felt like I was asking God for so much in a sense but not spending genuine time with Him while allowing Him to handle things. And I told God I know I'm trifilin cause I know I am meant to be with Him in the end and to help me with my disobedience as well as praying that His Will be done in my life no matter what, but to give me the strength to continue this walk knowing He is going to perfect me in the end because it's not by my strength but by His alone. Thank you for this word! Within 10 minutes, you had me in tears! I have been praying to God about a new job and I told him to guide me and place me where he needed me and he said Oakland, CA. I live in VA. I don’t know a soul in CA, but I kept thinking this cannot be his word. This has to be my word to myself, but my gut kept signaling towards something and I am happy to hear that this signaling is a natural occurrence with the holy spirit. I came to your video because I felt like I wasn't praying right and I needed to learn how to be with God and I wasn't even expecting you to mention moving or feeling God this way. Thank you!

Thank you so much Heather! I've been struggling to hear from God. Literally last night I woke up and was frustrated because I have yet to hear from God on where I should truly be residing in my life. I get frustrated now because it seems difficult to hear from God ever since issues on top of issues have come into my life. I used to run to people for answers, but now that I stopped, it has been very difficult to hear a direct answer from God. Even though I have spent time with him (staying up for hours), I guess I had missed the answer or my time with him is not enough. So I will keep trying.

It's the stubbornness of my own heart and will that refuses to get right before God, and yet if it was my car I'd be at the gas station long before empty!
You've also encouraged me to start a prayer space in my room and made me realise how important that is. It's far enough from any plug sockets so that my phone isn't within reach, and I'm going to buy cushions and a lamp and a rug to make it permanent. I've spent too many days away from the King 👑

I just saw this video while I was at work just now. I looked at the length of the video and thought it was too long and that I would not be able to watch it but something told me or should I say the Holy Spirit told me to watch it. The title of the video caught my eye. Well let me tell you, this video spoke to me on so many different levels it is unreal. I love your devotion and love for the Lord and He is truly using you as an instrument to further his kingdom. Since I have been up this morning, there were tasks that I didn't want to do but God told me to do them and each time I did I saw His presence. This morning when I was driving I asked myself, Lord do I truly I love you? Do I listen to your voice? Do I know when you speak to me? Am I spending time with you that is worthy and deserving for you? I mean these were the questions that I was asking myself this morning and lo and behold I see this video. God you are too good!!! Thank you for your Obedience to God to do this video(He must have planned it before time began...before each of our first Breaths). It is indeed a confirmation to the state of my heart since He's been showing me that I need to seek Him for the purpose He has for my Life....and a yearning I was sharing on the 21/02/16 with an older friend that I just need to know what more I need to do or what less...and right there reminded me again of how I used to sing to Him when I would have devotion in my teen years and how He loved it and would enter in my the room in the form of a gentle distinct breeze...He does enter with a song ....He does inhabit the praises of His people. I had turned my Devotion in a sophisticated meeting of straight Bible Study , information gaining etc. cutting out the serenades and waiting till I got to church to sing corporately for fear of disturbing people, lack of passion etc...Thank you.Thank God.
I have gave my life to christ some time in 2014 but I still struggle on how to fully dedicated my life to him and let go of things that don't glorify him. Am I still find it difficult to hear from him, but this video really spoke to my heart. Thanks miss Lindsey and Gog bless
