@Raiden same. I'm 21 but lately I have been listening to 70s 80s 90s music mainly. They dont make 'em like that anymore
Becky, hi from Becca. This song and the other 70s Bee Gees and similar music 🎶brings back memories of disco dancing at Mothers in downtown Plattsburgh NY 77, 78, & 79. I was barely in my early 20s, stationed at Plattsburgh AFB.
Sadly Mothers closed, & the base closed. I would luv to get out on the dance 💃floor and disco some more.
You must be 22 plus in 70's if you are 62 now?

I believe today’s generation would go crazy for Disco and The Bee Gees.
I'm 20 and you're not wrong at all. Or a retro roller skate session!! Sucks that's all dead now :(
Kids today want a looped EDM beat to move it! It's really sad.. Let's keep real good music alive! Rock on 👌

That damn drummer has 18" high-hats. He's cutting through so hard. It's just unbelievable. And his feel!!! God bless him.

They should have included them to the beegees highlights, beegees will never be beegees without these musicians playing in the dark

The Bee Gees were ONE of the greatest groups ever 🎵❤️
They have been since the 60s. Listen to the song "Cherry Red" from the 60s (not the later one with the same name). I absolutely love that song. Wine and Women is another good one. And Spicks and Specks (of my life) actually went to #1 in AU in 66. Spicks and Specks is slang for Odds and Ends in AU.
They are ONE of the greatest of all time. Their music is forever marked in history. Thank you Bee Gees for legendary musicality and great songwriting to the world❤❤❤
I’m 78 years old and marvel how much The Bee Gees music still makes me feel alive. I love their music and grateful I can get them performing , from the past , on my phone. Thank you Harry for showing me how to do this.❤❤

My Mom and some of us went to see Sgt. Pepper. When the camera pulled back to show Barry, my Mom gasped and "Who is THAT? He's gorgeous!" Later she remembered seeing him on tv in 1967, he was gorgeous then but by the time the movie came out he had matured into it.
Absolute classic. No autotune, just good vocals and melody.
Well said👍
i was think the same ,you wont get vocals like this anymore.
@@dustinmeeks1751 Unless you have lived in the 70's or 80's, you don't KNOW the quality of vocalization needed for songs like this. All kids seem to know is rap, unless they find a movie theme song that grabs them.

Obviously nostalgia.
I'm 14. Born in '09. I hope you understand that you, my sir, have something we all envy.
You lived through the 60s. The 70s. The 80s. The great music slowed in the 90s and pretty much full stopped in the 2000s and hasn't picked up since. If my career works out as a musician I'm gonna change that. But people like you and the experiences you have had may be something you just don't quite realize the value of.

There aren’t many songs that manage to be simultaneously relaxing and energetic. Regardless of your musical preferences, it is impossible to deny that this song is a pop music masterpiece. It was almost mathematically certain to be a hit. Every decision made in the production, arrangement, composition, and performance of this song was the right decision. Nobody dropped the ball on this one. And I like it.

They wrote this song, Stayin Alive and others from Saturday Night Fever soundtrack in a single weekend, which became the most selling soundtrack album of all times. Geniuses.
Actually, they wrote the music for their next album, not the movie. And it wasn't written all in one weekend. The song were already written when Stigwood asked them to contribute some songs to a little movie that he was producing. So they gave him the songs that ended up on the SNF soundtrack.
