    how do you store after 12 days? do you rinse with water and put it in the fridge or keep in the liquid and store in the fridge?

      No need to rinse….just take out from salted water n store in a zip lock bag into the fridge .

    Fantastic video, thank you. How do you make rice water? Is it the water after washing rice? If so, what type of rice, short grain, long grain, or glutinous perhaps?

      Thank you for watching. Rice water is water use to rinse rice before you cook. Any type of rice will do. No rice water can use tap water. No problem.

    May I know whether the pickled mustard greens need to keep in refrigerator after 9 days?

      If you take out from the salted water you need to keep in the fridge.

      You can use more water to wash the rice instead of adding plain water.

      Not necessary. Just put in a container n cover tightly and finish within one week.

      Can keep in the fridge for 2 weeks. In the freezer for longer time as I see some kept in the freezer. But I never try keeping in the freezer n wonder if texture will change.

      I feel its already a bit sourish but if you want very sour you can try add vinegar.

      Yes When they turn a very nice yellow color, you can store in the fridge but not in the freezer. You can cook with pork or fish or just stir fry finely chopped.

      @@patriciasun9992 Yes any rice water will do, be it glutinous rice. No rice water can use tap water. Rice water is just to activate fermentation.

      It is traditional to use this type of vegetables. I have never use other vegetables before but i recycle the solution by adding white radish and their leaves. They came out delicious too.

    Great idea but the salt I’ll dissolve those plastic bottles , get a canning weight made out of glass
