Great video! The Empress Chiang Mai Hotel is a very good hotel. Stayed at that hotel in late July 2019. I was very impressed with this old hotel because it is well maintained. The customer service was beyond my expectations. A great hotel that keeps the guest coming back.

Thanks for sharing! The hotel looks great even with somewhat hard bed and only one pillow. Ample parking, swimming pool, large breakfast selection, clean room, well maintained and good costumer service is a huge plus in my book.
Old but very nice. To be honest, for an upgrade to a deluxe I might expect a little more or a little larger room but as you said, it serves its purpose. I'd stay there for sure. Great review 👍💛

It is dated but overall it is an OK hotel, I would be happy to stay here again aswell.
