It's mind boggling that the most efficient way to create an isometric grid in photoshop is to draw it one line at a time, even after 32 years of development and thousands of features
And how to create a grid for a "dimetric" perspective? The angles should be equal to 15 between the plane. How to make a dimetric grid ? Help me please !
Where does that monthly subscription go, Adobe? Why are all useful kinds of grids not included in illustrator "from the box", even though you sure as hell know people need it for years? This process should look like this: I have an "isometric idea" > I hit "Isometric Grid" in the app > Isometric grid appears on canvas > I DRAW. Somehow Infinite Painter - a mobile app! - managed to do exactly this, but not the Adobe Allmighty. That is pathetic, as for "Industry standard".

thank you for this smart way to do grid
Very useful! Even if in Photoshop it requires more steps, is always good to know how to "craft" your own resources. Thanks again :]
Do you have any good example of a guide that works today?
Brilliant. 👍👍👍.
thank you

Easy tutorial, I can just put my mind to 0 and follow the steps. Nice!
Very clear explanation; useful to know. One question - how did you arrive at 86.602%?
Simple maths..

@@Jaded_o Could you explain this to me?
I want to do the same but based on a 60 degree angle and wondering how to get to the percentages
You know, in Gravit, you can just turn the canvas grid on then toggle it to isometric - and voila.
All these steps skipped.
but the video is 4 min long
It's 2 minutes in Centigrade, it's only 4 in Fahrenheit. No wait.. I mean 2 in Centimeters and $ Inches.
Two minutes for each program.
