A tip we use for placement of color/blocks in quilting is to stand back and squint. Makes it easier to see if everything looks evenly distributed like your marbles or shells. Since you can't stand your trees vertical, you could take a photo with your phone or stand on a ladder above the table to get a better perspective. A lot of quilters use a design wall and step away 4+ feet. Just trying to help make your creations even more fabulous. ❤ People will be seeing these from across rooms not just up close.
These are so beautiful, I never did think of using crush glass, after this I will. I was wondering how much would you sell them. Thank you so very much for taking the time to inspiring us. Take care !
Hi- I'm a new subscriber. I never know how to price things. My husband says I give things away, but I do not want to have to take it all home after! I live in a beach community, too. So I have been looking for a few different things for my booth. I look forward to hearing from you!
pricing is tricky! Add up the cost of your materials and and the time it took to make your item. Anything above that is profit. That’s why I like to recycle materials in my art: it’s almost all profit, AND I keep things out of the landfill!
Hi Edwige...are you selling these online? Also your Palm Trees? And maybe some of your ornaments and wine glasses? I want them for housewarming, Christmas and engagement gifts for my young niece...Can you ship to Boca? Maybe I can drive down and pick up? ❤ Thanks...Karen Buckley
@@ACoastalMagnolia that's very reasonable for a unique one of a kind art piece!!! No wonder you sell out! $25 - $35 if your market area and show will support it might work.
How do you smash up the glass? Do you have the glass coming off after you resin? Have you tried adding glass to resin, then putting it on the board? Just wondered how that would work.
Here is how I crush the glass. ua-cam.com/video/cvs0vqELtzI/v-deo.html Very easy! I very rarely have glass come off. You could mix the glass and the resin together first, but I think that would be messy and use a lot of resin.
It’s better to seal the wood! I just did this new video. I’ve learned so much by watching other artists on UA-cam! ua-cam.com/video/_9GoHF1OUJk/v-deo.html
I prefer them plain without ornaments. Love the idea.
It just amazes me that the resin holds all of the glass! These are beautiful.
Thank you! Cheers!

My grandmother made roosters, all kinds of things. It was so fun. I am 70.

Happy holidays and good luck! Have fun with it
I'm just amazed that you just pour it on top and it still adheres to the wood. They are all beautiful!! Can I come play with you hahaha
I should do a “live” and call it Wine and Craft, lol
@@ACoastalMagnolia what a great idea! You could also do Lil work shops at your place 😊

Did you ever try putting some light one the board before you put the crush glass ?
I’m thinking of that!
I have a show coming up, and have no idea how to price these. Please help
I price mine at $20, but add up your materials, including wood, resin, glass, etc., then add your time. Good luck!

Why didn’t you add a little water to the resin, then you could have just pored it over the trees 🌲.❤
Resin and water don’t mix!
