It's 4 trials. There are actually 91 indictments.
US elections are all kinds of messed up. Each state does its own thing, there's just two parties with effective power, all the gerrymandering that happens with districting rules...
Oh stop with that crap. If anybody has 3rd world elections it's Canada.
Absolute madness
Damn, it’s sad when I have to watch some guy from Canada explain thee only clear and decent explanation of how to vote in the U.S 2024 Super Tuesday elections
My lesson. If you want to learn about American politics. Watch Canadian news.
No
If Trump was an average citizen he wouldn't be able to find a job let alone run for president... Only in clown show USA.
What a mistake
That is insanity. No matter so many loathe voting in USA.
How can New Hampshire just write a "state law" that they go first in primary? How can any state write a law like that? Why not also write a law saying "we have to be the richest state", that means federal government will be forced to give them more money? righhtttt
Write in Pedro
You already just posted this; is it for sound reasons?
Most likely
Yeah we chose already. Why we gonna spend money and have conventions and debates when we already know who the nominee is? Why and who would Biden debate lol so why would they have debates and conventions?
Sensationalists
US election system was designed by the Founding Fathers on the night they tried acid for the first time😅
0:12 " ... like in normal times" oh FFS sakes CBC. Normal times? Ok then, you explain what happened to Bernie Sanders in the primaries leading up to 2016. Is that normal? It was anything but. Is "normal" just the normal that you're willing to talk about?
It’s not gonna matter that the state is majority white. Why you mention is unclear. Anyway most of the states are majority white if you didn’t know. We are still like 70 something percent of the population. But that don’t matter? Anyway.
Sad Americans getting civics lessons from Canadian television. This is a great explanation.
CBC Trudeau's state media.
All the Cases against him makes him looklike a fighter, gives him continuous media attention.
Rather they should have had one strong case and got him convicted.
that is not how elections work in the US, each state has control over its elections, so it has to be a different rule in each state
There is NO strong case. WHen are you going to get it?
Andrew, can you also do an "About That " on why Canadians should care about US primaries? Just curious. Other than spreading outrage.
Ever herd the saying: when the us sneezes canada catches a cold
@maplecanada341 I realize you don’t care about US primaries, and not saying you should but for those of us who DO live here, please DO NOT discourage this man as he is one of the few who is giving a clear, concise, and comprehensible explanation.
In Canada we don't vote for parties, we vote for persons who may belong to (and espouse the platform of) a political party and those persons represent us! It's called civics: how your government works for you.
We vote the same as their representative body and the body elects a leader.
Both countries vote for a representative person but we also vote along party lines, it's in our DNA to pick teams, we just have more teams to chose from.
The difference is our body elects the leader ahead of the general election theirs after.
Also our winning parties leader becomes the countries leader and recommends the appoints of Senators to the Governor General.
They run additional races for the countries leader and their Senate and that level of politics adds to why things can't get done quickly.
Our House would be equivalent to their house but with more actual control as our house runs the country with little obstacle from the Senate and none from a president.
Also our house term is a max of 5 years but can call an election any time before the 5 years is up.
Their house term is 2 years, barely enough time to get major legislative changes in before getting ready to campaign again.
The advantage to a 5 year max is you can enact legislation and run on its success.
The disadvantage to the country is a bad government can be in power for 5 years.
The British Parliamentary system can be lightening fast in enacting legislation after a Senate review.
They have 2 additional levels that have a public say as to what gets enacted our Senate is not so public and political.

Conclusion: The Brandon dude will be gone before November. Trump will be President and a very good chance General Michael Flynn will be Vice President
Not if he's a warhawk, he wont be.
Andrew is the only likeable person on CBC. But it’s still crapaganda.
Trump is a FASCIS.T
Very original.
You don't know what fascism is...like a typical liberal. if anything, it is Canada with their thought and speech police.
LOL.. such kindergarten opinion. Grow up
