After Epsiode 8/9 I started to read the Light Novel (5 Volumes in english until now) and it became my favorite series of all anime I watch and all manga/Light Novel I read. It literally hits my unique taste and can't imagine if we will ever get something like this again. The aspect which makes it so special for me is, that every character is treated like a mc and that I really like to see how everyone is interacting with everyone else in meetups, fights etc. Furthermore I'm a fan of battle royales. Important for me in battle royales is, that it's unpredictable and that the focus isn't only on a protagonist or only some characters. Ishura is doing it perfectly by focusing on every character and handles every fight like if two main characters are fighting. So happy to see that we are getting a 2nd Season :D I hope they will give the 2nd Season more episodes or will continue with even more seasons afterwards. I absolutely love it :D
This is my top anime that started this season. It even had the same effect as 'so I'm a spider, so what' where in-between episodes 3-4 I binge read all the English release of light novels and cried when there were no fan translations for the remaining novels. In my eyes, the books were 10/10, among my favourites, and the anime was 9/10. It just can't take over frieren which has overtaken code geass as my number 2 anime. It still needs more seasons to overtake monogatari for first place.
Supporting Kia and Soujiro all the way.... Tho my prediction also same as your.... Star runner not seems like a hero... The death angel guy also himself want to see the true hero means he isn’t that hero person. Soujiro can be the true hero as he might be a reincarnation of the hero after his death. Like he maybe got reincarnated to that distant world and got isekaid again to his old world. But the most possible candidate is Kia. Her nature, characteristics and mindset is like a hero. And her power also defies world's rule (the most powerful) . So it would be nice if she is the true hero..

The ending of the episode sounded like a click of a complicated puzzle being completed.
All I wanted was soujiro, now I don't mind letting them cook.
