- The Stereosexuals was an experimental project primarily formed by Will Wood and Jonathon Maisto.
Bigger Than Yours is an album consisting of 3 out of 15 tracks Will and Jon wrote, inspired by electro swing, punk, hip hop and experimental influences, BTY was recorded in 2013 and released August 9, 2014.
The other 12 tracks were never published, and Will has stated in multiple livestreams that they're lost media, likely rotting away on an old hard drive.

If you noticed, some of the replies feature a now dead link to a pre-Tapeworms solo album. I will not be reuploading it, I'm all for media preservation (so I will be keeping them backed up on my own personal drive, sorry Will) but I'm not for getting my ass kicked by copyright strikes, nor am I for publicizing an independent artist's early history against their wishes.

I clicked on this video, it’s been on my FYP for several days. I thought it would be just a cool album by a little known artist. Then the music started. I hear saxophones. I think, “oh that would be a nice will wood intro!” Then the lyrics started and I thought “holy shit it sounds like will wood!” And then I read the description and I was like, “ OH FVCK IT IS WILL WOOD”
This has happened to me with multiple band recommendations, specifically strange thick and a verbal equinox.

People seem scared about 1fish2fish's lyrics, but to me it's _so_ obvious that it's a Front Street moment. If Will _isn't_ trying to paint the singer of the song as actually the most deranged person ever idk what the hell he was thinking writing the lyrics. It doesn't feel like something an actual misogynist would write at all unless they were specifically trying to paint themself as a cartoon level villian
I saw some people annoyed at the low volume lyrics in TBTEYW, but to me it gives me a unique vibe. We're so used to having lyrics in songs a lot louder than the instruments, so hearing them mixed in the background comes off as weird to some people I guess. I love it!
Cut/Clap is actually one of my favorite of Will's songs of all time. I can't get enough of it. Everything about it is PERFECT. There's not much more to say than that it's just... AMAZING.

songs can be used to tell a story, an artist singing about bad topics in the perspective as a bad person doesn't necessarily mean they actually believe what the song is saying.
think like actors who play characters that are bad; Just because an actor plays a character that is evil/bad doesn't mean the actor themselves approves of the characters actions.

it think the misogynistic parts are meant to mock men like that in the music industry (take for instance the line "1 fish 2 fish, black and blue bitch" vs a later line in the same song "1 fish 2 fish, me or you, bitch". it conjures the idea of a man who treats women poorly because he sees them as competition or feels artistically threatened by them). I mean, he wrote Front Street the same year, and that's a song about date r/pe, told from the perspective of the r/pist, as a way to talk about how vile those people are. the ep is called Bigger Than Yours, which to me, at least, feels like a way of (1) mocking those kinds of men, and (2) telling us what perspective the ep is written from. Also, before he made The Stereosexuals with Johnathan Maisto, he was in a band called A Verbal Equinox, which had a female lead singer, Cheska Colombo. Years later she was later featured on a track on "Self-ish", an album Will released with The Tapeworms.

I have autism and I used to get so overstimulated that I would have these really bad panic attacks like my brain was trying to process so many things at once that it ceased to function correctly so I scream as loud as I could I fall to the floor and start flailing my limbs almost like a seizure but I was conscious for it felt like my brain was overheating/melting I have been looking for music for so long that feels like that

Will wood has so much potential, I don't listen to him as much as I used to but I still love his old songs like these, the ones from A Verbal Equinox and many more.
