I have just bought the first roll of film in twenty years - a Fujifilm 200 - to dust off my Canon AE-1 Program. I cannot report the results yet, just wanted to let you know that I thought I recognized the street as you were loading the film. We have recently returned from a bucket list trip to South Africa where we spent three fantastic nights in Franschhoek. Your video rekindled very fond memories. Greetings from Canada!
Thank you for checking out the video! I am so glad you have fond memories of Franschhoek. It is a gorgeous town. All the best with the Canon AE-1 Program and Fuji - no doubt it will deliver decent results. I have just put 2 rolls theough my AE-1 for another video I am making.
You used to be able to get Tudor film, here in the UK. It was often a freebie given away when you had a film developed, so that it cunningly encouraged you to use their services again. I think it vanished with the advent of digital. Great shots, in any case.
Thank you very much for your comment, and checking out the video. Yes, you used to get it here too, in fact, I have an unopened box of 110 format Tudor XL still :). It was never considered great film, though.
100% man, I am really stoked. On the scans - medium res, not ultra high res, I can't even pick up aberrations. On a high res, I think you probably will, but even coma and all that, negligible or at least not visible in the current scan size. As long as your scenes are pretty wide, and in the infinity range, this camera delivers. Closer up, I presume you will have more issues.

Thank you and so much for checking out the video.
Great video Danie👍🏻 I would have taken a sizeable bet against those results😉😂
@@antonroland Thanks man, me too!
wow very nice results from that camera!
I know, right? Apart from the composition, it was all camera. I was very surprised as well.

That lens seems to be pretty sharp for a focus free lens. Of course, I'm only seeing this on video. But that camera has some capabilities.
