While the bad seed issue may have been a storage issue on their end or some other factor, You need to say things like this when it happens. If nothing else there may be someone who had a similar experience and think it was their own fault and that they were a bad gardener. Gardens are more important than ever and the shorter the season, the more that seed sowing counts. I lived in zone 3 for some time and if something failed it was very hard or impossible to get a second batch to harvest. I learned early after a few heartbreaks to have seeds from different sources ( including my own) so I never lost all of something. I did save my own as well and made a point to only save from the best-growing of the type of plant.

Oh this is the same packet of seeds I bought last year from Lowe’s green beans “jade” and all the seeds didn’t spourt. This is very shady and weird.

Why are your videos so hard to hear? You have such a soft voice it’s hard to hear you. Probably because you’re a sweet person.

Not sure, I can hear it just fine on all my devices. Sorry about that.

I don't think it's "throwing them under the bus" to simply share your experience with a company's product, especially something as important as people's food supply not happening because of bad seeds

I have grown Craig's grande Jalapeno and Colossus jalapeno the last 5 years, and will be growing only colossus this year the Craig's grande just don't produce as well or get as big and the heat isn't consistent, colossus are consistent in size production and heat. I really wanted to like them but they just can't compete.

Thanks, maybe I’ll try those next year. I do notice the Craig’s are inconsistent with heat.

Corn needs to be grown in blocks not rows because it's wind pollinated it will have a hard time getting pollinated in rows. I recommend considering a hybrid super sweet corn or synergistic they are so much sweeter, I really like jubilee super sweet and Allure synergistic both very good. I don't really care for any of the heirloom varieties to starchy for my liking. I do grow mostly heirloom but corn, cucumbers and peppers have some really good qualities with some of the hybrid varieties.

Interesting, I always do multiple rows of corn. Everyone here grows rows of corn. I never have a problem with pollination. The corn I talk about in the video simply did not germinate at all.

@@TheUpNorthHome When I say blocks I mean at least 4 to 5 rows wide if you do that it will be fine the rows can be as long as you want just don’t want 1 or 2 rows. Also if you happen to plant corn say in rows North and South and the wind blows North and South you may get just fine pollination but you are gambling.

I like pole peas because I get more in a small space. The snap peas at the dollar store grow 8 foot tall and give the most peas. First 13 shelling peas.

PLS 595 from Johnnys is a good green shelling pea. Always have good success with it, good germ and good harvest.
