hi guys, this video is an idea i had, beating MOC normally is overated so lets try beating it with the most unsuitable characters that no one would wanna use for this week's MOC. The data used (updated up ton 4/11/2023) is based on: www.prydwen.gg/star-rail/memo...

With herta it would have been easier, she has quite nice buffs by herself and also the monkey is weak to ice, but man, what a diference when you can beat the MoC with only 1 character and now you hardly can with a full team (I know the second round was way better and the times you beat MoC with 1 character we',re under specific circumstances, but the Qunny was one of the solo winners)
Yea I would much rather have Herta xd But sadly she wasn't the lowest pick rate among the few options I had. It would feel like cheating if i swapped out March for say physical trailblazer just to keep Herta when she had higher pick rate xd Gotta suffer as much as possible 😩

I was very happy with the release of horn dan and jingliu ..becoz they gave out free trace mats in the event so i can use it to upgrade my phys mc

and I thought I was gullible to use caelus phys/fire for all those adventures. I enjoyed using the mc's character.
I didn't pull for dragon Dan, jing liu or blade so I had a ton of those lying around
They were enough to take arlan's traces almost to max.

Phys MC is my main, and I use Herta all the time because "Kuru kuru" is super convenient, everything in Calyxes and adds in general just die to it, and I just leveled up Sushang because she's cute, and having another phys DD is useful.
So I've been using March 7th as my sole sustain character since release, and it's honestly really doable, you just have to be mindful about keeping up your shields, and putting them on the right people. Also I have her eidolon that makes her shields last for 4 turns, which is a huge help, since you can keep 3 characters shielded at any given time. The only issue is if an enemy uses lots of AOE, or if there are a lot of enemies so they're able to drain the shields before she can take another move. I only just got Bailu recently, and honestly I kind of like using March more. Though Huo Huo is looking pretty cool. Oh and I just recently got Topaz, and she's actually really nice with Clara (the 5-star I pulled in the beginner banner) and March, because if the marked enemy hits Clara while she's shielded, both her and March get follow-up attacks, which instantly triggers Numby.
I’ve also been using her sonce I started playing!! Yes, I’m a clara main. I have Fu Xuan now but I will still use her with some of my teams. I actually have her skill maxed lol-
Ngl I play a lot of Arlan and Physical MC, and their really good with the right team. Trailblazer can also legit tank every hit with all her def and Clara lightcone if ennemies have physical weakness
if they let me save different gear loadouts for my MC's different paths, I'd use the physical one sometimes. No frills, but consistent and good at her job.
I love sushang so it's sad to see her so low on the list

Sushang is the goat, and I have Jingliu and DHIL pretty well built. This definitely disappointed me a bit.

I guess it makes sense considering she needs a Physical enemy to break. Good thing I solved the only issue she has the day I decided to become a Sushang Main by pulling SW so she can break anyone regardless.
And it's worth it, I'm clearing MoC now with a Hypercarry Sushang xD

@@NightmareToast9 ehh you'll be fine. Seele's strong too, as for Yanqing, well he needs a shielder to do consistent damage, but he works as well. I just prefer using Sushang because unlike Seele who needs a kill to proc her extra turn passive, Sushang's does not as it's a 100% action forward on ult. Plus her E1 refunds a skill point that she uses when she uses her skill against an enemy who is weakness broken (essentially turning her skill into a free skill. Plus I have her at e6)
Trailblazer is the only physical character I have really built well, so he does end up in a lot of my endgame content exploration whenever physical is required. Interesting to see he's that rarely used.
I want to use all these characters. But the problem is I don't have that many resources to upgrade all of them. 😢

If he just shielded more consistantly with March he could've absolutely beaten the stage with the first team.. Hell he was literally overflowing with skill points at some point.
I was actually flabberghasted to see how well they performed, keep in mind that they were also the WORST match-ups and characters to use for this MoC...
I'm still stuck on floor 9 even with good characters and "well builded" characters hehehehe
If you have enough sustain and reasonable damage against weakness you can brute force through any floor, albeit maybe not with 3 stars, if your units are leveled.
Ey keep the grind going and you'll find it easy in no time :D If theres a quick advice, its definitely getting a great sustain!
get urself a sustaın and demolish moc floors it doesnt happens instanly i cleared my first moc 10 at 1.1 second MoC as a Day 1 player wıth meta units of that time.
I partially built my Arlan (got his talents to level five-ish and threw a bunch of Longevous Disciple pieces on him for the lulz as a "copium Blade build") and didn't think much of it for the longest time...
Then I actually tried using him for once and quickly found out that, with a healer in the team, that kid was hitting like a truck in some of my Forgotten Hall runs and was instrumental in helping me to FINALLY beat Svarog at Difficulty 3 in Simulated Universe. TLDR Arlan is overhated and underrated if you know how to play him.
I use stelle and she is so good i thought more people would use the trailblazer tbh
physical mc is competing with fire mc for...well, for the player's sanity, I guess. managing two sets of gear is awful. I wish they would implement a way to save multiple loadouts.
edit: also, fire mc is good at tanking the monkey.

just like epic seven, having the beset characters isn't needed just makes things easier.
Honestly I'd say E7 is a bit worse with some characters especially 3*s having zero use XD

but I don’t use Herta as much. Only on like tiny enemies or if I really really need her
can't believe Sushang is unpopular, I probably use her the most along with Jingliu because she was awesome in Hi3
I use fire trailblazer because I have no other shielder and refuse to use March 7th. I also have E5 Arlan and he carries when Dan Heng can’t 💪💪

I personally dont use arlan or mc because their designs dont apeal to me but i have been using sushang and herta since the start. I absolutely love them and my herta is on pair with my jingliu if not stronger then her. Next jingyuan rerun im gonna grab his cone for herta. Once i get another hunt cone im gonna work on getting suhang her own relics aswell instead of sharing with qingque (4cowboy set)

I always like herta because of it's follow up attack. Because of that.
She became my favorite and my main character in this game.

Honestly Sushang is really good, but I would only use her as sub dps (broken as hell in sim universe with hunt blessings. eternal turns.)

Ok like I get why Arlan in this team beause his suicidal skill doesn’t do any shit.And physhical mc is not the best but not the worst.But man…Herta goes very well with Himeko and Sushang is a purely carry characther.
I’m gonna be honest I don’t care if Physical Trailblazer is probably better I’ll always use Destruction Trailblazer(I like their play style more than physical)
Just about any character in HSR is viable in MoC... if they have amazing gear and support units buffing them and debuffing enemies.
I think this video singlehandedly disproved this by running the most anti synergistic team with March solo sustain and still having a shot at clearing the content...
honestly I think you could run the team they gave you at the very start of the game and beat MoC 10 with it.

When I just started starrail, physical trailblazer was my main.
Then I got Clara. AND WAS SUPER DISAPPOINTED . Because Clara is physical and destruction. Like trailblazer.
So my Clara is still un-leveled😂
Maybe you should look into clara a bit more she is probably much better than you think. for instance is one of the few characters that can solo SU.

Fire MC is better so people prefer using that form. We aren't lacking physical DPS either with Sushang and Clara (and Argenti soon). March 7th can't easily solo sustain compared to Natasha who is free. I do use both of them, but I do understand why they're not brought into MoC often.
