@Fireman58FD No, it isn't. He's right, Zul'drak is a zone, Zul'Aman is a TBC raid. Zul Gurub is a vanilla raid, Zul Farrak is a vanilla 5-man. And tehre's a few other Zuls as well, hence how I managed to get confused.
@Bodhizzle You are mistaken. For some reason all buffs are now shown under 1 icon (the glowy thing) in the corner. You have to mouse over to see em all.
@kvnc2 You should probably not sperg out over something you don't understand. This is probably the 5th comment on the subject I've had to reply to, from people who have not paid any attention to beta or PTR changed. I am fully buffed, all buffs are consolidated under a single, glowing icon in the top right. That can changed in the options and is designed to reduce screen space used. So yeah, quit flipping out, I am very clearly buffed as you can tell by my mana regeneration.
@knightimer2 Health has been normalised across most classes. Tanks have about 20-30% more. I assume they've done that to ensure they can apply more damage across a raid group without it randomly one-shotting people.
@DrOstentorious "; he just seems a bit inconsiderate towards people who may take his responses too seriously. " - I would like to correct you here. I am extremely inconsiderate towards people who may take my responses too seriously.
are you able to queue for any of these? Or is it like like Throne of Tides where you need to find the entrance to be able to queue for it? I'm level 83 and it's not in my dungeon finder- plz help -.-
oh, something I don't know if you noticed, but if you use impact proc while living bomb is on, it spreads, with it's current timer, to all enemies in range, at least in patch beta
@lospeckos that may be because of the new spell interface, that little icon you see next to his minimap that looks like it has stacks, thats a new icon for how many buffs you got on you, when you mouse over it, you can see all your buffs. Hope that helped, if not my apolagies.
@Neglec09 That thing is basicly you mouse over it and it shows you your long buffs Example Mark of the wild, Moltean armor. This also solves your moltean armor issue!
@Darduel It a new thing that will be coming out in patch 4.0, it keeps track of certain buffs and when you hover your mouse over it, it will show you the buffs such as Mark of the wild and arcane intellect ... i'm guessing buffs with long buff times are put under this. The number tells you how many of these certain buffs you have on.
@lordthawkeye Blizz is trying to make all classes have some sort of CC, so it may turn out you need a specific CC but there will be more then one class capable of doing so.
@Harry5924 like he has said in his other videos alot of the buffs are now under the long term buff icon on the buff bar, so your screen isn't covered in buff icons.
@Ferilian This is how this conversation went. *Posts something that is wrong in a smartass manner* *Gets proven wrong* *Claims that somehow it's TB's ego that has been damaged by random UA-camr posting uninformed comments* *TB rolls eyes and chalks it up to the reality distortion field*
@KenjiiParadize Tank health is only slightly higher than other classes at 85, the difference is they have MASSIVE damage reduction and avoidance compared to everyone else.
@BartvG88 To me it's not really like reading a strategy guide, but more like reading the manuals and learning the controls. I may be weird as well, but I actually enjoy it too. I can picture the encounters in my head, and think of different ways of trying to get around certain spells and abilities, and to me that's really fun.
@TotalHalibut Zul'Drak is not an actual instance though. It's a leveling zone, yes. But not an instance. Drak'Tharon Keep was partially outside, Gundrak was completely inside. Both were troll instances.
@TotalHalibut You should be able to change how you see your buffs, its in Interface->Buffs and DeBuffs-> Consolidate buffs [x] Then you should see all of them.
@mkakiler If you want to fly in Azeroth,you have to by the flight masters license from your flying trainer.You can fly in Outland with no license,however.
@bjferret You need to discover every entrance before you can queue in the dungeon finder and the 85 dungeons like this one don't even appear in it until level 84 at least. Also you have to have a certain average item level before you can queue for some of the dungeons, hope that helped.
i love your rant on how easy the content was in WotLK. Our guild had to pug a dps for naxx once, and during grobbulus we told the pug that the clouds gave a buff. And of course he died within the first minute or so of the encounter. Olde Naxx was so much harder IMO.
other outdoors: dungeons: All of CoT, stratholm, oculus. zul farrak Raids: zul gurub, ruby sanctum, hyjal raid in cot, aq20, zul aman. alot of sunwell. there lots of places that also have bits of them outdoors, but those i wrote is where 90%+ of the place is outdoors :)
@ikillx Yup. I look forward to playing some of the harder instances in Cataclysm, to see how I wold stack up in a level appropriate, difficult instance.
Hey TB, just a wee correction *braces for impact* you said Zul'drak several times in this video saying it's an outdoor instance, I think you mean Zul'farrak as ZD is a zone in northrend, not a dungeon
Ive noticed TotalHalibut, that you tend to say that a lot of bosses or trash do "nothing really at all" but when I watch, I see the tank or even dps getting spanked hard during some of them. Mind you, healing is a lot less now and drops in health like that are a bigger deal for healers. For example, the earthquake caused by the Oathsworn captain was painful on the tank but you're lucky to run with a group that isn't melee heavy and your rogue knows how to "get out of the fire".
@velazkid at one point in the video he also said zul gurub and zul drak, im guessing he meant zul farrak or zul aman instead of zul drak, since zul drak is a wrath lvling zone
@Ferilian , lol nice to see you read up on things and play on test servers. as TB said it collects all them buffs up but can be turned off if you like the clutter
"Why play a GAME that you cannot LOSE?" Oh you, TB. Anyways, great video as usual. Looking forward to seeing the heroic dungeons, pretty thrilled for the rest of the content after your BRC wipe video.
@TheAjtok yes it takes a while, especialy the first time around (I'd say about 5-6 week, someone correct me if this is wrong), however like I said, you don't see it as a grind or as time wasted, its just time spent enjoying the game
Total, I think you're mixing the word deflect and reflect drastically, but I also agree its broken If its deflecting it won't come back at ya, it just won't hit if its reflecting it will come back at ya and most likely it'll hit
@TheDezmona if u look at the chat area is say something like "?? silver, ?? copper sent to your guild bank" i thought it was some kind of configuration i didnt see
@TotalHalibut Really liked the heroic video, looks like it will be a tad more interesting grinding out the heroics with guildees. PS: how'd you like playing with Honeydew and Xephos?
@Ferilian Ahh yet another person doesn't understand Cataclysm. You see that yellow buff? That's all my buffs in one icon. Hover over that to see everything you have on you. Default Cataclysm UI. Once again, don't try and be a smartass if you're not in beta :>
@Vesperidone correct, i thought about that instantly, those are exactly like the ones in D2. But hey i dont mind, i hate that D2 act but then again, the mobs agro and behavior was a bit "harder" to work with on D2, but in wow its prolly better.
Well, you could be technically half-right with the Zul'Drak reference; Drak'Tharon Keep is a quasi-outdoorsy instance (for King Dred and Tharonja, anyway).
what i want to see in a patch or new expansion is being able to fly to different continents...like eastern kingdoms to Kalimdor or maybe even northrend? it would take longer yes but it just seems funner (especially for role players) to be able to fly anyway and not wait for boats
After the invasion on PTR, my warrior got perma stuck in the strangulate animation, so she constantly was floating and holding onto her neck. Very freaky. The pigmy boss, I assume a scripted event should run at 1 hp.
@222Bamboo222 he talks after filming because if he was to talk during filming it wouldn't be as clear or as well thought out as it would be happening to him then and there
If it lightens the peeveness TB, you can think of this instance by the same reason as the fact that we couldn't see the entire Uldum: weird cloaking devices, yeah, trust me we were Blizzard employees it would make so much more sense.
@DonCristoBaal I understand that you don't want idiots that know nothing screwing up your raid encounter. I didn't quite explain enough what i meant... I meant that, what i miss from raiding back in the day, is that you didn't have gearscore or achievements to worry about. I love figuring the fight out myself, or together with the raid, not read it on a website. Of course, there's more to beating a boss than just knowing what he can do, but still. exploring instead of just winning.
hey TB i got a question, what is this stacking buff you got there? i see in a few other videos you got 5 stacks of it here its 2-3 and its got like a frame around it, what is it i never saw this (i must say i also play a mage and still never saw it)? and thx for your videos you are doing great job at giving us those videos!!!
@zac2806 This was a normal mode instance. Just like the other normal dngeons, it aint hard. Unless you think they are in which case I worry for you in Cata my friend. Also I think you meant 'implementing' not 'implying'
Dear host of... videos? >.< Just wondering, you've mentioned frame-rate issues lately, I know your PC is quite capable, does this mean that those of us with not that great PC's are going to run into problems come Cataclysm?
at around 3 minutes into the vid i saw that rogue sprint in and sap a mob... shed a tear in memory of classic wow. Here's hoping it's actually going to be like that and my rogue becomes viable!
@jd7901 Well, you dont loose any loot, it just adds 5%/10% money and that will go to the guildbank, and how you ask ? :) It is a guild 'reward'. U get 5% at first and once ur guild 'levels up' to a certain level, it goes up to 10% :)
@Ferilian To be honest if you dont know what changes are being made you probably shouldnt be trying to tell the guy who is showing you the new stuff that he is doing something wrong.
@velazkid No, I mean Zul Drak... which just like every other troll instance, is outdoors.
"Don't nerf the game down to my level, I want to raise myself to the level of the game"
A great quote that Blizzard should adopt as a new philosophy.
@Bodhizzle You are mistaken. For some reason all buffs are now shown under 1 icon (the glowy thing) in the corner. You have to mouse over to see em all.

@RedCaboose7 Curtain of Frost. It used to be a line, now it's just a big ball of fog
@alfamirc Pit of Saron. That one in... Wrath? You know I was referring to Cataclysm instances right?
@Semtexx7 You've seen it already, that big blue particle cloud. It just slowly people down.
Set it to 480p or 720p, UA-cam is slow on processing 360p today.
@SniperPwner No, it's bugged.
@patrykirl1 Read the video description.
@DrOstentorious "; he just seems a bit inconsiderate towards people who may take his responses too seriously. " - I would like to correct you here.
I am extremely inconsiderate towards people who may take my responses too seriously.

@atree496 Pretty sure I did.
@TotalHalibut You can turn that off in the "Buffs and Debuffs" section in settings if I'm not mistaken.
@lospeckos that may be because of the new spell interface, that little icon you see next to his minimap that looks like it has stacks, thats a new icon for how many buffs you got on you, when you mouse over it, you can see all your buffs.

@Fireman58FD Zul'drak is a zone in northrend, Zul'farrak is a 5 player dungeon and Zul'aman are the raid.
@Dankore correction, Fish mining has been used to get teir 15 legendaries and has been nerfed
@lordthawkeye Blizz is trying to make all classes have some sort of CC, so it may turn out you need a specific CC but there will be more then one class capable of doing so.
@Gebezis7 Thanks Captain Obvious.
If you think they're on lowest, you're blind. They're on Ultra. The point is, that area is extremely unoptimised.
@TotalHalibut Zul'drak is a zone, Gun'drak is the instance and is indoors
"I don't want the game nerfed to my level, I want to raise myself to the level of the game."
You are my hero.
@Harry5924
like he has said in his other videos alot of the buffs are now under the long term buff icon on the buff bar, so your screen isn't covered in buff icons.
@dardanDK it's a set percentage unlocked by guild achievement.
Basically, extra gold is given and the guild bank gets that gold
@Ferilian This is how this conversation went.

i dont get why ppl keep trolling TB when he delivers great HD quality wow cata clips.
keep up the good work TB

@mrdaym phasing was in the anh aket (probibly spelt that wrong) aka the old kingdom, when the last boss uses insanity
other outdoors:
dungeons:
All of CoT, stratholm, oculus. zul farrak

zul gurub, ruby sanctum, hyjal raid in cot, aq20, zul aman.
alot of sunwell.

@ikillx Yup. I look forward to playing some of the harder instances in Cataclysm, to see how I wold stack up in a level appropriate, difficult instance.
@TheMacbeefy im pretty sure they were doing something like that tank dont have extra health, but they spec and gear into damage mitigation
Hey TB, just a wee correction *braces for impact* you said Zul'drak several times in this video saying it's an outdoor instance, I think you mean Zul'farrak as ZD is a zone in northrend, not a dungeon

I love these vids so godamn much, i wish tb started playing wow again
@RadioGaGaz Said to be as long as 70-80, but it all depends on how you go at it i guess and what your attitude to levelling is.
@Ferilian , lol nice to see you read up on things and play on test servers. as TB said it collects all them buffs up but can be turned off if you like the clutter
If you notice, those pygmies that are stacked are a bit of an ode to Diablo 2 mobs, such as the Shamans found in Act 3.
@BartvG88 yes i can, but i bloody well enjoy it, reading strategy guides gets me hyped up for actually doing it.
"Why play a GAME that you cannot LOSE?"
Oh you, TB.
Anyways, great video as usual. Looking forward to seeing the heroic dungeons, pretty thrilled for the rest of the content after your BRC wipe video.
@TotalHalibut but zul'drak aint an instance. it is an area in northrend.

If its deflecting it won't come back at ya, it just won't hit
if its reflecting it will come back at ya and most likely it'll hit
The people sliding around at about 30 degrees off vertical are what makes this video epic
Broken or not, still a gorgeous looking dungeon. Looking forward to running it and seeing these fights in their unbroken format. Thanks for sharing.
@TheDezmona if u look at the chat area is say something like "?? silver, ?? copper sent to your guild bank" i thought it was some kind of configuration i didnt see
@Jamezama
thx! :D
@LawrenceDerp fraps has an option to not show the mouse cursor in its recording.
@MrMrG0MAN lol, it means Area of Effect, which is damage in a circle
I giggled as if the Emperor just got a full heal and started tapdancing on the Golden Throne when you said EVEN IN DEATH THEY STILL SERVE.
@WoWKazo Probably only during Cata beta, expect a change for the final release =)
on 7:20 the mobs stacking on each other it was "borrowed" from Diablo 2, the dart spitting pigmies pretty fun tho.
"You no take da treasure!" I have the insane urge to have an all-kobald dungeon after this video.
what i want to see in a patch or new expansion is being able to fly to different continents...like eastern kingdoms to Kalimdor or maybe even northrend? it would take longer yes but it just seems funner (especially for role players) to be able to fly anyway and not wait for boats

The pigmy boss, I assume a scripted event should run at 1 hp.
What @TheLemonfreezer sayed about zul farrak is the instance and there is also the raid Zul'Gurub that i might add.
You can also use cards, they have 90 day deals and are like $25-30
@WilltheGamer
The "Lost Isles" weren't really empty either, right? They jsut mean "lost" to the outside world, I would guess.
About the very start when you said there were 4 bosses on map, maybe one was hidden underneath the '?' mark for the killing quest?
@222Bamboo222 he talks after filming
because if he was to talk during filming it wouldn't be as clear or as well thought out as it would be happening to him then and there
If it lightens the peeveness TB, you can think of this instance by the same reason as the fact that we couldn't see the entire Uldum: weird cloaking devices, yeah, trust me we were Blizzard employees it would make so much more sense.
@KenjiiParadize Probably the same, since blizz wanted to give cloth somewhere near the same stats as plate now maybe even the same stats.
I want to say Assassin's Creed and I don't know why........ -.-
Thanks for taking the time to film this instance ( and the others), much appreciated:)
@DonCristoBaal I understand that you don't want idiots that know nothing screwing up your raid encounter. I didn't quite explain enough what i meant... @ecp1985 Old Stratholme is not outdoors, neither is the regular stratholme.
holy god my computer always crashes while watching your videos... but it's completely fine on everything else... roar! the rage!
@warcraft473 Does the burning crusade that comes in Battlechest work?..the salesmen said it did :l
I cannot wait for Cata...it looks awesome.
@MsShark94 I've heard they released the date as November 2nd.
That sunbeam thing maybe on Heroic Make it follow a target so they have to kite it around for awhile?
Everyone is getting stuck in poses on the PTR as well (didn't get into the beta obv) so it isn't just linked to this dungeon
Oh, and I vaguely remember that Zul'Farrak in Tanaris was/is outdoors.
hey TB i got a question, what is this stacking buff you got there? i see in a few other videos you got 5 stacks of it here its 2-3 and its got like a frame around it, what is it i never saw this (i must say i also play a mage and still never saw it)? and thx for your videos you are doing great job at giving us those videos!!!
@nathones its the new holy paladin aoe it goes in the direction the player is facing to heal players in the "cone"
Thank you for the comments at 11:43 to 12:00! Thank You! So true.
Kitten Dinosaurs... TotalBiscuit or Halibut, I take my hat off to you. You are indeed a genius.
@zac2806 This was a normal mode instance. Just like the other normal dngeons, it aint hard. Unless you think they are in which case I worry for you in Cata my friend. Also I think you meant 'implementing' not 'implying'

If it smashes your framerate, try lowering your options (Unless they're on lowest) :P
@jd7901 Well, you dont loose any loot, it just adds 5%/10% money and that will go to the guildbank, and how you ask ? :) It is a guild 'reward'. U get 5% at first and once ur guild 'levels up' to a certain level, it goes up to 10% :)
great vid, so which beta server do you play on, i would like to do a heroic sometime with ya :)
@Ferilian To be honest if you dont know what changes are being made you probably shouldnt be trying to tell the guy who is showing you the new stuff that he is doing something wrong.
Any chance you could use Recount for a instance video so we can see what sort of dps you and your groups classes are doing?
@KenjiiParadize
I read with buffs a tank should easy reach 125.000 HP in raid grps
Thanks for uploading this =D I love this instance already and I'm not even playing beta.
