Is it wrong for me to say that I really loved this episode, while Yuyu was definitely arrogant this season, it felt like everything was poetry from start to finish. I know that we will have an entirely different cast starting next season but I definitely want Yuyu and his rideline to be a legacy please mainly because I can’t help but love his rideline. Everything was nearly perfect and this season to me will be iconic and I love his new Variana because my goodness, its one of the most beautiful I’ve ever seen and it felt bittersweet because while I know this the last season featuring Yuyu and his friends but at the same time, I want more of this rideline. But after the epilogue, I am really excited for what’s coming next!!! 🔥💕 #cardfightvanguard
Raika rizzed the baddie, nice - he looks so horrified though lol good series, like the notion of "dressing" in this show to become a new self first over dress, then multiple over dressing, then cross over and revol (teamwork vs loner) then again with varinlord (supporting others) then unison and cross over with a bunch at once (starvarina)
Today is the day where the old era will fall and a new one will rise… I feel a bit sad but also Excited to experience new cards… it’s been a long journey. Thank you Yuyu, Thank you Blackout, thank you for being a good memory
Amazing fight between Yuyu and Gui, i like how Yuyu can handle Griphogila attack without bet on Heal Trigger, also for ending: _Yuyu leave Blackout and go with Danji somewhere i think. _Megumi become new leader of Blackout and fight Mirei(also look like Megumi become new Kamui for sequel). _Tohya travel around the world. _Zakusa came back to Blackout and have happy ending with Tomari. _Michiru still coma but according to Drajeweled Ignis, look like Michiru will wake up soon. _Jinki and Gui make another Tournament for manga sequel. _Raika and Sophie have another rematch. _Urara and Halona join Raika group. _Masanori back to monk and become Karma Houdini. _Samuel breaking fourth wall by playing Dear Days and look like Dear Days will got Season Pass 3. _Mirei and Haruka bring more fun to their own group(also love Mirei serious eye when she begin to fight Megumi). _Shinobu still Tsundere and Taizo take care of Michiru. _Look like sequel will bring back supernatural according to cliffhanger ending. My Rating for Overdress series is 7/10.
Man I'm so excited and sad at the same time.. Still I do hope that they make a sequel to it cuz I think this new vanguard is still rich in story especially if you count Urara, Michiru and Alona's abilities.. Also Tohya mah man gambling for real!
TBH, If Stravairina was revealed after this episode it would have been very hype. Spoilers! Yu-yu VS Gui Round 2 is very much the best fight this season but doesn't top Yu-yu VS Mirei Round 2 for me. I like how Gui slowly loses it's cool demeanor and showed more emotions as a Vanguard fighter as Yuyu beats it, and then seeing how the different fighters feel about Cardfighting in general, and Gui finally understanding that what it's doing was only one of the ways the ultimate fight can be achieved and then both Yu-yu just reaching an agreement to try to achieve that dream. Now the Epilogue, I definitely like the first scene is Yu-yu's house and we see the comparison between Yu-yu from the first time we see him to now, he's grown so much, the hospital scene where we see Shinobu visiting Michiru (showing how he cares for him) and confirming that Michiru might wake up soon. Seeing Mirei and Haruka be happy that fighters can have fun again. Megumi getting a job? That confused me at first considering she's rich and all that, until later that is. Jinki talking to Gui about the next Deluxe which is most likely the manga that was revealed. SAM PLAYING DEAR DAYS! what in the vanguard, also pretty much confirming dlc there bushiroad, also the dude that gave Youthberk full bust to Raika playing Solrairon, huh, oh and then seeing both Urara and Halona in Tirnanog Youth mans that Halona took Urara's advice. Raika becoming a pro and fighting Sophie on an exhibition match with Sophie giving a not so subtle bound by fate speech with Raika's face basically saying "What the hell did I get myself into!?", also Fanfic writers: Write that down! WRITE THAT DOWN!. Tohya basically in Australia for some reason and seeing Masanori suspiciously smiling (*sigh* guess things never change). Seeing Tomari and Zakusa's little interaction (which was cute). The usual Blackout fight stage reveling Megumi as the new Leader!? That was unexpected which kinda answered her getting a job, to pay for the bill in Wonder Hill, (guess she doesn't want her brother to help and probably wants to stand on her own, also I would actually want to see a fight between Megumi and Mirei tbh) which means that Yu-yu relinquish his position as Blackout's leader in order to seek out new fighters around the world, ending it with the usual "Stand up, The Vanguard!"... At least I thought so until a not so subtle Cray and Earth connection was revealed. Overall this season was great, the emotion, the cardfights they hit right at home, I definitely like Yu-yu as a protagonist and seeing how much he grew throughout, I'm definitely gonna miss him as this concludes his story, but I'm glad I get to see it from beginning to end. The next overdress season and the new protagonist definitely have huge shoes to fill.
No todo es ganar o perder es un buen mensaje para el final, fue interesante seguir a Yuyu y su historia todo este tiempo, gracias por subtitularla en español :D
Whoa whoa whoa! Whoa whoa whoa! Yo! 19:56 The game exists in the shoe! Its canon!! Edit: Now this was a helluva way to end the season. Truly amazing, and I didnt expect the leader switch nor YuYu leaving! Now you got me hyped up for the next season of Vanguard OverDress! I loved all the character developments and interactions throughout the show, and I loved the new cards brought in. Hoping we see michiru wake up soon tho. Till then, I'ma play my heart out in this game! Great series as usual, so keep up the good work! *_STAND UP, VANGUARD!!!!_*
I personally noticed that Yuyu’s story was about communication and understanding ever since his introduction in Overdress. I can understand why it felt a underwhelming closure which is fair because they definitely could’ve done more in terms, it was telegraphed that this season is the last one featuring Yuyu and his friends which reaching the end of era is definitely heartbreaking for those who have grown attached to this cast despite the fact that I want more from them. While isn’t perfect by any means, I still had lots of fun with this season and I giving this season a 9.5/10 which I know that sounds quite high and while I wholeheartedly agree that Yuyu’s closure to his story is not the best because it felt short-lived, I will say its definitely not bad either. Yuyu to me is honestly one of my favorite main protagonists in the Vanguard franchise and his legacy will indefinitely be one of the most memorable and iconic but I am definitely ready for the new cast of characters starting next season and I quite liked the cliffhanger a lot but I am very curious of what the new cast of characters will be like because it take some time to get used to them but I am ready regardless!!! 🤩😁
Really great way to end off this era of Vanguard but that teaser got me even more excited since they show cray could that mean that earth and planet cray’s link be reconnected maybe even the Akashic Book will be functioning again
Spoil . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . At last Yu-yu san and Gui can become friend. I'm the most glad. and after that he is going to long journey for search himself, and for this episode I'll said "This is the most masterpiece for who like Yu-yu san" includes "He said" song too.❤️❤️❤️❤️
I really liked the overall story of this arc with our main trio of protagonists getting their own specific rival and arc but every time Yuyu fights my reaction is always "Damn man Jheva has been here since the beginning and its basically just an engine piece for Yuyu's combo and doesn't even deal damage that much anymore" Nice hook at the end with a focus on Cray though, the previous seasons has been all focused on the fighter's world with the implication of the events being from the fighters and their cards but if we focus on Cry next we may be able to learn just how Trickstar appears in front of Yuyu and gets noticed by other people sometimes, also Uraraand Michiru's own unique Synthesia effect that doesn't look like Psyqualia but could be an off-shoot of it
Thank you all for watching this hell of a ride i been loving the cast and yu-yu since 2021 i can not believe that this a Farwell see you guys in 2024 drink alot of water and have a blessing day and goodnight
GUI is finally a real child like Pinocchio and everyone has fulfilled their goals so there only one question then, that game in the end will be a teaser for something?
Isn't Jinki technically paying for all this? Why is he watching all this on a phone screen? They should be glad this A.I has at least SOME value for life, if not it could have been a skynet sit. P.S Early version of Gui is sooo much cuter than this alien thingy.
i'm shocked hardly anyone is talking about the ending with what we saw with cray how it glowed and the card table glowed to my guess cray is going to play a bigger part in the next season
Will + Dress (inheritance will to the young generation and evolve/Dress furthermore) 9:12 裂,斬,崩,砕!炎帝の竜たちが集いし今,災いを立す剣となれ! 武装焔聖剣 ストラヴェルリーナ Retsu, Zan, Hō, Sai! Ēntei no ryu tachi ga tsudoishi ima, wazawai tatsu tsurugi tonaru! Busō Enseiken Sutoraverurīna!
Let's see what Bushiroad has in store for the future of Vanguard anime. Maybe a crossover of the OG and OverDress maybe they will bring the characters from Dear Days into the anime? Time will tell. But i will wait because i love the anime and the TCG.
its a new MC and a new cast as always. Still in D series world so characters from Will+ Dress can show up as side characters or easter eggs. Two of the new characters have already been revealed
So if he's actually playing dear days, does that mean Yuki is fictional in their world as well? I mean, I guess the new protagonist was declared, but I was kinda hoping we'd get a female lead for a change and it would be Yuki
All Cardfight Vanguard protagonist Avatar unit final form name: _Aichi: Liberator. _Chrono: Z. _Yuyu: Stra. If next protagonist using Stoicheia Insect rideline, i think final form name will be King like Blade King or King Kuwagata-Ohger.
I’m not sure either but I think this marked the end of yu-yu era as the protagonist and we’ll be getting a new main character or smth The D series will continue till 2025 I believe
And there it is y'all the end of Yuyu and gang's journey on-screen at least. I might return to avid manga reader after this ngl. At lot of things I wanna say not only for this episode but the entire arc but we'll be here for a day or 2 and I'm very tired so no thx lol. TLDR, the entire WD arc, I'll fully admit, is a huge mixed bag. They have way more misses than hits imo but those hits felt strong for me so I won't bash it too much. At the end of the day, it's not perfect, far from it sadly but overall I have an enjoyable experience overall. Also I might cause a bit of debate but, at the last few scenes, are they implying that Cray is real? If so then fans, how are we feeling about that? Personally, as long as it's not too in your face and subtle, then I'm fine honestly.
I'm honestly wish we spent more time with Yuyu and co. before leaving and going with a new protagonist. I feel we need more time with them. Be as it may however, I'm fine with them involving Cray now as long as we don't go back to psyqualia (no hate to that, of course). Hopefully the setting is either leaning to sci-fi more, like "Planet Cray is real, but its actual presence is classified and only handful of people are aware of that" (kinda like MiB with its aliens) or fully centered in Cray
@@dindapriska Honestly a more sci-fi approach of Cray sounds kinda lit ngl. Also I've learned throughout WD it's not so much the supernatural aspect of Vanguard that I've burned out on, it's the world domination/ending trope. With that said hopefully next season if we do go on a more supernatural feel ala Psyqualia etc, kindly leave the world at stake trope behind. With Yuyu and friends I'm less sad now that I know that this is not the end but more of a new chapter in their lives. Their stories will continue it's just is in manga form writing by original creator, so it's in good hands. Who knows maybe we'll see on-screen again as cameos next season.

We've established long ago that cray is a real place In the world of Vanguard and I would love to see the story that lead Jheva/Trickstar and the rest of the units to fighting such a beast, I think it would be really lovely
Hope to see you all in future Cardfight Vanguard anime
*Stand Up Vanguard!!!*
I’m so happy with this season can’t wait to see what they do next

MISSED THE OPPORTUNITY FOR YUKI AND RASEN CAMEO, overall yuyu's journey is beautiful
Raika rizzed the baddie, nice - he looks so horrified though lol
good series, like the notion of "dressing" in this show to become a new self
first over dress, then multiple over dressing, then cross over and revol (teamwork vs loner) then again with varinlord (supporting others) then unison and cross over with a bunch at once (starvarina)
Today is the day where the old era will fall and a new one will rise… I feel a bit sad but also Excited to experience new cards… it’s been a long journey.
Thank you Yuyu, Thank you Blackout, thank you for being a good memory
Amazing fight between Yuyu and Gui, i like how Yuyu can handle Griphogila attack without bet on Heal Trigger, also for ending:
_Yuyu leave Blackout and go with Danji somewhere i think.
No it seems like even Danji wont be seeing Yuyu in awhile meaning Yuyu might travel the world after his gets permission from his mother.

14:11 When you're just trying to vibe as an AI but the writers had to make a CAC to mess with you
And so it went, Yu-Yu Kondo literally defeated the concept of netdecking.
If we continue in this universe I hope we will see more of the guys introduced during the deluxe
Probably we might see Stride becoming the main mechanic next season. Like in G. Since they are bringing back stride decks in Overdress D format.
Didn't they only bring back the Stride Deck for the reprints of cards that required it to exist? Why would it be needed with the Ride Deck otherwise?
21:54 Some where at some point this might go really crazy between them XD
Raika got the biggest W
I swear you and sophie, just get a room already
They should just kiss, she's been following him like a lost puppy.
I think Raika definitely intended it as a 'eat your own words' edgey comment... But Sophie certainly saw it THE OTHER way.
SEGS!?
Call the police?
I think they’re more like Byakuya and Fukawa from danganronpa except Raika isn’t some stuck up rich brat.
I've been here since the first trial decks dropped and the end of an era always saddens me. Can't wait to see what's next!!!!
New season incoming
Man I'm so excited and sad at the same time.. Still I do hope that they make a sequel to it cuz I think this new vanguard is still rich in story especially if you count Urara, Michiru and Alona's abilities.. Also Tohya mah man gambling for real!
There is next year January 2024
Dont worry... there's still 4 seasons to go
TBH, If Stravairina was revealed after this episode it would have been very hype.
Raika becoming a pro and fighting Sophie on an exhibition match with Sophie giving a not so subtle bound by fate speech with Raika's face basically saying "What the hell did I get myself into!?", also
Fanfic writers: Write that down!
Hopefully this battle will be blasted.
Edit: Thank you for make all the season blasted from Overdress to Will+Dress
Trickstar is so cute.. Whyy😭😭Definitely the second cutest after chronojet..errr whats its name again? ARGHHH nevermindd...😂
21:39 That level of savagery is more like a wolf lol.
No todo es ganar o perder es un buen mensaje para el final, fue interesante seguir a Yuyu y su historia todo este tiempo, gracias por subtitularla en español :D
Good to see that Ep 12 is not the final episode
Whoa whoa whoa! Whoa whoa whoa! Yo!

The game exists in the shoe!

At last Yu-yu san and Gui can become friend. I'm the most glad. and after that he is going to long journey for search himself, and for this episode I'll said "This is the most masterpiece for who like Yu-yu san" includes "He said" song too.❤️❤️❤️❤️
I really liked the overall story of this arc with our main trio of protagonists getting their own specific rival and arc but every time Yuyu fights my reaction is always
"Damn man Jheva has been here since the beginning and its basically just an engine piece for Yuyu's combo and doesn't even deal damage that much anymore"
Nice hook at the end with a focus on Cray though, the previous seasons has been all focused on the fighter's world with the implication of the events being from the fighters and their cards but if we focus on Cry next we may be able to learn just how Trickstar appears in front of Yuyu and gets noticed by other people sometimes, also Uraraand Michiru's own unique Synthesia effect that doesn't look like Psyqualia but could be an off-shoot of it
21:47 Raika I don’t know if I’m happy for you or scared for you

Isn't Jinki technically paying for all this? Why is he watching all this on a phone screen?
They should be glad this A.I has at least SOME value for life, if not it could have been a skynet sit.
P.S Early version of Gui is sooo much cuter than this alien thingy.
Did zakusa and tomari finally became a couple ?!
weren’t they always a couple?
I remember he got that wrestler for her as an anniversary gidt
Please tell me that the Cray connection is returning
Anyone else notice how Sophie is to Raika their??? Like damn mans got a milf chasin/following him
This is one of my favorite Final Boss fights in Vanguard!
Same here for me, lol!!! 😆🤣
For me it doesn't top Mirei vs Yu-yu R2, Ren vs Aichi, Aichi vs Reversed Kai R2 or Ryuzu vs Chrono R3.
But Yu-yu vs Gui is definitely top 10.
i'm shocked hardly anyone is talking about the ending with what we saw with cray how it glowed and the card table glowed to my guess cray is going to play a bigger part in the next season
I hope we see some returning cast members in the new series.
I wonder who? There’s a couple of HiBiKi people that I want to see, especially those who doesn’t have more than 1 anime role.

So if he's actually playing dear days, does that mean Yuki is fictional in their world as well? I mean, I guess the new protagonist was declared, but I was kinda hoping we'd get a female lead for a change and it would be Yuki
Did they declare the new protagonist? How and where? And didn't they call it "Net Vanguard" rather than "Dear Days?"
They didn't declare a new protagonist yet but confirmed that this season is the ending for Yuyu's story. The next season will feature new casts.

The D series will continue till 2025 I believe
Bro that ending are we getting difrides back?!?!?!?
we didnt even get release date for set 10 & messiah deck and the anime got set 11,12 maybe 13 that some bs
