The Western Australian State Nominated Migration Program (SNMP) 2024-25 program year is now open.
For the SNMP 2024-25 program year, the Western Australian government will continue to waive the $200 application fee.
A new feature of the 2024-25 SNMP includes additional employment contract arrangements for candidates invited through the General Stream - WASMOL - Schedule 1.
Invitation rounds for the 2024-25 program year are anticipated to be held the first week of each month, commencing in August 2024.
General stream EOI
Candidates eligible for the General stream will be ranked in accordance with the following.
currently residing in Western Australia
currently residing offshore or in another Australian state or territory
occupations in priority WA Industry sectors (in no particular order):
building and construction;
healthcare and social assistance;
hospitality and tourism; and
education and training.
occupations in all other WA industry sectors
highest EOI points score
oldest EOI submission date

As per my consultant, you cannot submit EOI in Western Australia because it is required WA nomination first

Bhai mene 11 April 2023 ko file lodge kri as a university lecturer under 491. Received S56 in May 2024 and submitted docs on 11 June 2024. And still waiting.
One more thing why they are increasing time now 29 months

For offshore its very difficult to get job offer, but you can try 491 because there no job contract requirement for 491 nomination under WASch 2.

M electrical engineer my points r coming 70 and offshore for which state should I apply ... where on which site I can get this list of state nominations occupation list for 190 ... for applying 190 do I need job offer as I don't have that i only have gulf experience with skill access by Australia skill migration
The backlog is huge for electrical engineers....people have been waiting for an invitation since last year....last month PR was given at 90 points....Apply ASAP but the fact is it's a long queue.... consultants are guiding to take 8 in each ....tough competition for engineers.....the description given in the video is right as they are giving priority to construction, health and education....best of luck
