Thank you for explaining the operation of the Behringer Composer Pro. I have the MDX2200 model. No De-esser. But everything else looks the same. I will try again to use it for recording my singing voice into Logic Pro and Cubase with my Audio-technica AT3035 cardioid condenser mic. With my initial unschooled attempt, I failed to hear any change in my voice. I got the unit used from a rummage sale, so maybe it is defective.
Great video. Thanks Would you recommend to use a compressor, a digital delay and a effects processor for live music? I have the Alesia microverb4 so far.
You only need sidechain if you want more processors on one insert bus. If you only have this compressor then you can use the two channels on to different inputs by connecting the compressor to the insert of the input line by a "Y" Jack cable. If your mixer doesn't have insert ports then you can use the compressor as a master compressor. For that you simply connect your mixer L-R output to the compressor. If you really want side chain then you connent your first processor to the mixer by a "Y" cable, then the next processor to the first's sidechain send, that goes to the next's sidechain return, the third form the second's sidechain send to the the third's sidechain return and then the third's sidechain send goes back to the first's side chains return.
Yes, but rather it depends on you what you like but the typical settings are: Threshold: -2dB Ratio: 6:4 Attack: under 1 ms Release: 40 ms. I hope I could help you.
i have one more question my homie, i have a saffire pro 24 interface and its says its ad and da converter so should i use the +4db or -10db button on my compressor? analog or digital mode on my compressor
@@hectorsuarez853HOLLYWOODHECKdaisy-chain the left and right channels thru all your effects and the compressor should be the first. If you only play songs then I don't think so that a compressor is needed at all
You should get a Y Jack cable. The stereo end goes into the "insert" on the mixer, and the two mono ends go into the "input" and "output" of the compressor
So far the best review I've seen of this. Thank you :)

You don't have to use compression for all music
Very good!
Please help me learn how to set up sidechain ducking with this compressor a mackie micro 1202 mixer

@@CSTEntertainment Thank you so much! I will give this a shot
Hi will this work with behringer umc404 HD to compress vocal peaks while recording? Thank you.
That is only an audio interface, or I am wrong?
@@CSTEntertainment it's a audio interface mic preamp
Can you make tipical vocal male set for behringer mdx2600 vocal settings. Can you send paramiteres. Thanks
Yes, but rather it depends on you what you like but the typical settings are:
Threshold: -2dB

Attack: under 1 ms

You should use the +4dB button. That will offset the gain loss. and analog mode.
Does this have a preamp section, or is just a processing chain unit
it is just a processing chain unit
Please I will like to know more of this I have it and I don't know how to make use of it please I will like to know more
Im confused output IN/OUT button..
if i set the peak limiter to 0 does thyat mean it will limit the peak at 0 db or is it just disabling it at 0?
matachapetes2 It will limit the peak at 0 dB
CST Entertainment thanks this video was very helpful as i just purchased this same device and am a beginner

Beringher ultra
What function lo countour
You need to clean your nails dude.
That wasn't a review... If anything it was an overview with no real sound examples.... Thumbs down.
how do i connect it to my interface
Use two 6,3 to 6,3 jack cable and the line in put and out put on the back of your unit
so my mic goes in the input of compressor....then 2 jack to interface correct?
yes but you should use a mixer between your mic and the compressor
yaw bunun türkçe anlatımı yok mu
Your audio is terrible!
