    There’s so many on the registry that should be off it. Some shouldn’t see the light of Day. People do change for the better. We need better change

    Very inspirational. It gives hope. Hope can also be heartbreaking. Everytime I get my hopes up they Add stipulations and laws and it just get worse. Given the attitude I don't know why anyone would want to change for the better? In prison lifers accept their situation with no hope. I have also accepted my situation with no hope. Prove me wrong? We have been forgiven but that forgiveness is not for this existence. It is becoming increasingly more difficult to Accept the negative but focus on the positive.

      It is easy to lose hope and natural at times. Our videos are designed to be educational and provide hope for those on the registry. As we often say on our social media site, Connections, we are on the registry, but we don't let the registry define us.

      @@NARSOL I did my best to have the same attitude. Not only dealing with the registry for 26 years but the added punishments of notifying my neighbors and forcing me wearing ankle monitor broke me. I am trying to keep my anger from turning to rage. We see everyday what happens when people are pushed too far. I want to believe I'm stronger than that. Again thank you for making a stand and trying to help. I keep picturing the Dutch boy sticking his finger in the water dyke trying to stop the flood. It's good to see people still care. I will leave you with this. The work you do is helping to keep people out of the world news.

      It is our policy not to reveal the specifics of someone's conviction. This is to protect not only the individual of the videos, but if there was a victim, that individual's privacy.

    • @NARSOL
      @NARSOL  2 роки тому +7

      Many people on the registry did not commit a crime against a child, so why should they be forbidden to be around their grandchildren? Is someone convicted of manslaughter forbidden to be around people? NARSOL believes that people should be punished for any crimes they did commit. But should a person be punished for a crime they did not, and in all likelihood, will not commit?

You don't need to forgive anyone, nobody should expect you to forgive after all the pain you've been through.

    Why is the sex offender registry laws so draconian? It almost seems like excessive punishment for no reason, like if the offender has proved he is the not a threat to society then why keep him on the registry? The law should focus on high level sex offenders like those actually rape or kidnap children. I don’t how this can end positively for offenders who seeking to change in life and just society as a whole.

    • @NARSOL
      @NARSOL  Рік тому +4

      We believe that many of the laws are excessive and punish individuals even after they have completed their sentence. We also agree with you that the registry has expanded far beyond its original intention. Finally, we agree that if society wanted offenders to become productive members of society, they won't throw up so many roadblocks.

      @@NARSOL them road blocks is so they can suffer. Narsol you have to realize the reason they say they have a registry is not the real reason they have it. The real reason they have a registry is to let them suffer. That's the real reason it was created. They say the other stuff for cover up. It's not for rehabilitation and so forth. It's to make thos on it suffer. As much as possible. It's not similar to getting your driver's license cause no one go through so much getting there driving license. So much shame and hate and guilt and harassment. If so why there no registration for driving license. To make the city safe tell me that.

    • @NARSOL

      We don't agree that it is like getting a driver's license or even a license to open a restaurant. That's how the courts interpret it, however. Also, consider how many of the laws are NIMBYism. Are distance restrictions there to keep people safe or to keep "them" out of "our" neighborhoods?

    I would like to tell my story briefly, I am one of the first group of people to be placed on Megan’s law in 1994 For lifting up a girl skirt at school I just turned 14 years old . I am now 43 years old which means I been on there for 30 years . I was forced to drop out of school in the 8th grade because of this and I choose to work instead. I choose to learn about Glass which is called a Glazier and I am one of the best Glaziers in the country. Why have I been on there so long is the million dollar question ? At the age of 18 I had consensual sex with a 14 year old who told me she was 17 , she got pregnant and that’s how my name came up. I was arrested and was told her real age. I did 2 years in prison and was released in 2003 I then found out I would have to be on Megan’s law for 15 years with a parole officer and was given dozens of Unhuman rules , requirements and restrictions I was completely shocked. I Did about 7 years and they found out I was one of the top 10 charcoal artists in the country and just opened my own Glass company LLC . I was starting to make the papers from my art so they took me off the registry but kept me on supervised psl. I ended up doing 15 years on parole or Psl as they call it and the most I got was a small motor vehicle ticket in all that time. I was easily removed from the psl after 15 years which was 2018 , my lawyer was fighting for me to be removed from Megan’s law all together but the court said hey remember when u were 14 and lifted a girl skirt up ? Well we are not removing u off . That made me stronger to be even more successful, so I started more businesses and always stayed as a Glazier to the point where I became so good no matter what glass company I worked for I was the highest paid employee. I was never fired from a job because of this , I never was turned down from a job , I was never denied a apartment or house. I have horror stories from life on psl and I mean horror stories. I would like to tell those stories along with how I beat them and didn’t fail in life and right now I am extremely successful. I earn a 6 figure salary, I had No problems since I been removed from Psl until Now . I had a opportunity in Arizona where I can double my success and the NJ detective found out and violated me for leaving NJ and not telling Arizona police that I was there to work within 10 days smh . I am pissed that Law does Not want anyone on Megan’s law to be successful. I have a story where a police officer tried to set me up in NJ for crimes he knew I didn’t commit and if I didn’t have the money or resources I would have went back to jail and everything I done would have been wasted. But I out smarted him and hired a private investigator and he got the truth and all charges was dropped with a apology from the judge I have that report right now in my icould that I want to make public a long with all the illegal stuff I seen in these past 30 years . I have stories and proof that will raise so many eyebrows my email is alluniqueconstruction@gmail.com

      You have no idea of his circumstances . What good does it do to continue the hate when people can heal? There are people who's lives have been destroyed for the simplest dumb thing because they were put on this ridiculous and useless registry. Even young kids can be put on it for nothing. Just because someone is on this registry ,does not mean they are violent or repeat sex offenders or even dangerous to anyone. Educate yourself so you can see how dangerous it is to be able to be put in prison and then put on a registry for life for doing something as simple as urinating outside. There are people on the registry for life with their lives severely impacted because of this "Crime" It's ridiculous and it's been proven that the majority of sex offenders do not reoffend. By your standards every alcoholic or drug abusing parent should be on a registry because of the damage they cause their kids and family. Would that be okay too? Hate and anger may feel good for a moment, but they do not heal the problem. Forgiveness and healing are what is needed, not ignorance and hate.

    I love how these diapers snipers keep minimizing their crimes. I like how he says people don't understand my crime. We understand your crime and we find it and you repulsive. And no whiny explanation set the soft music and fake cutaways of friends and dinners is going to change that. You all deserve the purgatory that you created for yourselves. Just be glad they do not mandate castration.

      Well, keep wishing he deserves purgatory cause it’s not happening, as you can see, he is living his best life in peace by the grace of God and that terrifies you, it torments you that he doesn’t harm anymore, it’s like if you still want him to do bad things. Get over it, you are still stuck in the past, stop being self-righteous casting stones to people.

      The title of this video is forgiveness, and it refers both to the forgiveness a victim can give as well as the forgiveness an individual can give himself. This implies the person who committed the crime feels guilt. This series of videos is also meant to show that an individual can rehabilitate himself and become a productive member of society. Again, if you do not like that an individual can be released from jail to reenter society and become a productive member of society who gives back to others, then you need to address those concerns to those who make the laws.
