Honestly their rapping skills may not be on par with the other groups but they have really iconic raps in my opinion because majority of the time they try to incorporate some type of reference whether it'd be about themselves (Like in Umpah2x they talked about their older songs or Irene's original visual in Psycho 😂)
Anything related to pop culture (for example Michael Jackson in Dumb Dumb era) or just food in general because it ain't Red Velvet without food! 😂😂😂

Psycho- quality vocals, Joy's sweet voice ost n collabo korean fav, irene vocals n dancing that always overlook, yeri too with her collabo and covers.. Wendy and seulgi no words to describe. top vocals.
Producer like zion.t n woodz got inspiration from seulgi and really love her voice, crush who think of joy's voice for mayday, the ost producer who want only joy to sing the song..

Their harmonisation, which is really impressive btw, is not as smooth sounding than Mamamoo's. But when it comes to live performance and choreography, sometimes I still wonder how many times does RV has to practice to perfect their craft.
Finally, someone who thinks that Yeri should be higher than Jennie. If you're non-fans, you would have been listening to Yeri's vocal on red velvet tracks only. Meanwhile, she already showcased her vocals when she was covering another song.

Also rappers, all of them can be a sub-rappers bcoz they can rap and rap is easy to imitate you know! But in a grp of red velvet they put irene as main-rap and yeri as lead rap bcoz in RV their vocals is low tone registered thats why they have a least in line so in order to have a line .,management put them as rappers also the reason of it bcoz they want a twist grp which not all are just vocals but also 2 of them are rappers...
They are fast learning and born natural talented, if SM give them rap song like NCT song they can kill it.
But I think Irene and Yeri love singing more than rap.

My view as a multifan: I mean in Red Velvet, there's no weak vocalists, weak dancers, weak visuals, weak acting skills, and poor performances. They are more balanced and total package, because they are all-rounders. They might not be that synchronized in dancing, but their harmonization and concepts are too live for. They are also the queen of b-side tracks, and summer queens. Their stage presence is excellent. All their beauty and talents are unique and blended well together. Every member has a useful role, and fair responsibility. They are the most versatile and diverse female kpop group so far. They might not be always on the top and breaks a world's record, but the world knows Red Velvet is that extremely high quality kpop group. Their fandom is also one of the humblest ones. They are loud and wild, but don't create a mess, and really, almost all the fans are down to earth. They avoid fan wars, and just enjoy being a Reveluv. They don't even care about popularity, they are just contented of loving each other and succeeding in life. The fans don't stan only one member, but instead, they stan all the members. No one is left behind. Red Velvet and Reveluvs made me feel confident about who I am, that's why in 2017, I decided to leave other fandoms who are difficult to deal with, and chose which groups are worth to stan for. Although, as a multifan, I still give my support to Blackpink and Twice, 'cause they deserve love. I've been a Once and Blink.

This ranking is based on how they sing as a GROUP, not how they sing individually, if this was an individual vocal ranking, it would've been rv>>>tw>>bp, but this ranking is based on how well they sing _together_ . I think that Twice has much better vocalists than Blackpink, but that's not what this video is about..The purpose of this video is to analyze how each group sings together.
I may sound annoying but that still wouldn’t make any sense how BP is better, a vocal ranking as a group isn’t just about how they sound together but about how much skill the groups have. With the reasons of curry, I disagree with you. If we were talking about individuals, Twice would be better. Twice has more weak vocalists which would be why BP was ranked higher. BP’s weakest vocalist is Lisa from which I believe took vocal lessons before training. Twice’s weakest vocalists are probably Tzuyu and Momo. It would make sense because Momo was added for her dancing (I think) and Tzuyu for her visuals and popularity.

Well, it’s actually Twice’s vocal is better than BlackPink’s vocal. You see, Jihyo and Jeongyeon are average vocalists. While Jihyo can support consistently up to B4, Jeongyeon can support consistently up to Bb4. Nayeon used to support up to Bb4, but now her consistency has been lowered by a semitone, which is A4. Rosé is at the same level with Nayeon: support up to A4, and her low range is quite average, Bb3. In BlackPink, only Rosé has support in her voice. Jennie may have a shallow one, but that doesn’t really count into her support range. Jisoo and Lisa basically don’t have any supports. Jisoo puts her voice placement in her throat, which makes people think she has a raspy voice, but she actually doesn’t. Twice is the second most balanced group, in terms of vocal, when compare them with Red Velvet and BlackPink; and the most balance groups, in terms of vocal, when compare them with groups in JYP (3rd generation, of course).
The thing with twice tho is they are given lines way beyond their range. Momo and Sana for example always have a hard time. A lot of them aren't confident as well. That's why their encore is often silent. Whereas BP is given lines that they can actually sing. Not saying that makes them better but as a group they sound better when compared to Twice.

Sabia Akthar incorrect, it’s true Momo and Mina are amazing dancers. Jihyo also does her best and is a great performer, she’s even a main vocal. Which is also added points. Nayeon received the title with lead dancer as her dancing skills are sharper then the rest of the members excluding Momo ofc’. Sana also dances amazingly, almost seductively. But her only weakness is that she overdances and does some moves too hard. Tzuyu is also an amazing dancer, she definitely puts in that effort. Honestly all of the members are amazing dancers, the weakest dancers would have to be Chae & Dahyun.

Lisa: All the praises are less for her, she is a naturally born dancer.
Rosé : Has the potential to be a main dancer, only disadvantage is that she is only a fluidity based dancer, hence needs to add some sharpness in her movements.
Jennie: Has the potential to be a lead dancer but lacks energy and stamina. Can sometimes over/under dance.
Jisoo: Is stiff, but has gradually improved during the years. It blew me that how much she improved in HYLT era, and yes, she will definitely improve in the coming songs as well.
I feel in twice, Momo, Mina,Jihyo and Sana are the only ones who catch my eyes during the dances. Im surprised how Jihyo and Sana aren't lead dancers, JYP really needs to reconsider. Nayeon is an amazing dancer too but is probably average. Tzuyu tries her best but is at a disadvantage because of how long her limbs are. Yes this is pretty much it.

Individually, twice would placed higher in this rank with 3 decent vocalists from them but this rank is judged as a whole group and all blackpink members while not that strong per individual, really balanced and good as a group seen and judged by their average to slightly above technique, stability, unique voice tone that complement and harmonize each other, versatility, and confidence to show their vocals on stage aspects. There are several aspects like above that Twice (to be exact, not all memb) doesn't has but blackpink has them and they continue to show rapid improvement especially on their recent comeback.
While you’re not necessarily wrong about a vocal line for groups in general , it’s perfectly normal for larger groups to still have a small vocal line and still have strong technique. How many members are made part of the vocal line doesn’t matter; it’s how strong their technique is. That’s why SJ’s KRY and EXO’s ChenSooBaek are so highly regarded; the three of them in their respective groups collectively have some of the strongest technique the industry has seen (arguably the strongest the industry will see with KRY), even though SJ has fifteen members and EXO has nine members. If Twice were to have a very strong vocal line with over half the group with solid technique, that would be very impressive, not to mention that they’re from JYP. The fact that Twice’s vocal line can even support and that two of the three members of the vocal line ignore the “half air, half sound” technique is pretty good to begin with.

Like I said before in the last ranking, placements from the bottom are interchangeable. Depending on what you look for in a collective group vocals , Blackpink or Twice could be in second place.
Both Twice and Blackpink have their strengths and weaknesses. One thing I think gives BP the edge in this video is we have heard ALL the members consistently singing live with harmonization and versatility. This is not to downplay Twice’s vocal abilities, however it is hard to give a proper analysis of those categories because we aren’t given enough examples of what the members are capable of besides Jihyo and Nayeon, who get the most lines.
And that's because, besides Jeongyeon, the rest of the members aren't confident confident at singing live. By the criteria listed at the beginning of the video and used for the top, you can't really judge Twice because they never harmonize. You can only judge compatibility.
And even if the last places are interchangeable (let's say from 13 to below, I highly doubt Irene can beat Mina in vocals), the bottom ranking consists of half of Twice's members, and only one BP and one RV member, which happen to be both in charge of rapping rather than singing, and Lisa hasn't even been able to properly showcase her vocals if she can actually sing.

That’s why Twice are at a disadvantage. Vocal compatibility is important but that category alone can’t discern whether or not they are competent while singing together. I would love to see them harmonize. They can cover a lot of ground because they are a bigger group, JYP just isn’t giving the girls the opportunity to show what they can really do together rather than alone. It’s really saddening to me because I know they could do if I’d given the opportunity. :/
Confidence is also an important factor that hinders the vocalist if they don’t have any or very little of it. More vocal training and practice as well as praise from the fandom could help with confidence.

Its just like that deep voice are much underappreciated in kpop industry. Lisa can sing too. Althoughbit is not as powerful. She just proved that she can do anything. She can be a rapper anytime she want. She can dance anywhere she like and sing like a singer.
Blackpink side track showcase their true vocal. Their sidetracks is much better than Twice.
And the fact that they were collaborated with Lady Gaga, Dua Lipa and now with Selena Gomez is phenomenal.

bp is more stable as a group. this is what the vid was based on. some of u cant even handle straight facts. only 3 out 9 can sing very stable in twice while in bp all of them are stable enough.

Yeri's Russian roulette voice make me think she is the lead vocalist but when I knew that she is weakest in RV I really got a shock
